I mean come on, it uses a FNaF jumpscare and an animation short they stole off of UA-cam. It's probably fake, but I don't know what's more embarrassing, the fact someone actually fell for downloading something called "D3v1L", or the thing destroying your PC with cliche Creepypasta tropes.
What will happen to the computer at the very end? Which component is damaged? And how does a virtual machine prevent a virus from entering a real system?
It overwrites the master boot record. Virtual machines have a fake MBR, so it wouldn't affect the real computer. That being said, you can just fix it with a boot disk and it isn't that big a deal.
One time I started crying because I got a BSOD with 100 volume no headphones. It literally caused an ear infection. This happened a very long time ago but I still can’t believe it happened I was cringe back then LOL
