Sky Terrace is Rey's first custom level since 2017, as far as I know. Another old times modder that came back recently, with an unusual Cradle custom level.

Ren was the true MVP in this one. Dude carried the whole mission.
110.4% accuracy! Man, the shotgun really does boost up the accuracy rate!

As soon as I saw the level allowed you of all people to have dual-wield pistols, I knew it was all over.

Ren has and rcp90 the most powerful weapon in the game and he never used it other than that great video I like this custom level keep up the good work

Objective A is the easiest objective in Goldeneye History.... so easy a caveman could do it! :)
Does all custom levels are just a normal level remade? Sometimes It seems that It is a total new level (not in this case, of course)
As you said not all are normal levels remixed like this one. There are many many completely new geometry custom levels.
This might be a stupid question to the technologically advantaged, but a simpleton like me is curious how the hell these mods are made? Is the original game hacked into on a PC or something?
They're modded on PC with the GoldenEye Setup Editor, yes.
GoldenEye mods are made using a combination of computer programs, including, but not limited to, GoldenEye Setup Editor and Blender. I don't know all the technicalities as to how those programs work and how the mods are applied to the game, as I've never created any mods myself, only played them. I just know that those programs exist and are used to create custom levels, objects, weapons, characters etc. and that the mods will work on actual N64 hardware.
If you'd like to know more information or you want to create your own mods, I'm sure you can google it or look up "how to" videos on UA-cam.
