My wife’s grandparents were from Greece and I would love to take her over there to visit someday.
Just moved back to the mountains of NC after many years living in Surf side Beach, SC. Your video was a great refresher course in seaside fun. Going to plan another trip soon to see friends and neighbors that I've not seen in a few years, now Facebook friends. Thanks for bringing back wonderful memories.
I started watching you're channel for ideas of places in the NC mountains to take my wife next year. Your reviews of places have been great. It's amazing to see you camping in the place I call home. I have to agree Drunkin Jack's is pretty great and you passed the campground we stay at localy, Lakewood.

Tell Karen the secret to a good toasty marshmallow, without burning it, is not to use the flame at all. The trick is to put the marshmallow close to the embers instead! I know that may not be an option with the portable fire but next time you have a regular campfire, try that instead! 💛

Loved the trip and love the Mountains more. Where do I wish to go or return, that my Spirit returns to God and my flesh to the earth to rest into ever lasting life. I wanted to share something with you about how God works in our lives. My husband and I had just lost our first German Shepherd the summer of 1992. We had headed to Gatlinburg, TN Christmas day. Having shared a wonderful dinner while we watched the snow floating down a feeling came over me of goodness and hope I had not felt in months. The next day as we walked around Gatlinburg, we saw a lady working on her T shirt paintings. We stopped and from there we ended up talking pets. She told us that she knew a lady who raised German Shepherds and her dogs should be having pups soon. She lived in Newport TN. Off we went thanking her and from that conversation we received our next blessing from God a five week old female German Shepherd pup, long hair who filled out lives for over 12 years. So bucket list, I guess I don't have one, Love to all, God's blessings upon all.

I've always wanted to travel through New England in the fall. After my husband passed away 3 yrs ago I decided to step outside my box and I took a river cruise on the Danube through Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Germany. I'm so happy I did it!
We LOVE eating at “Dead Dog Salon” at Murrells Inlet. They have the best sweet hush puppies and sweet better we have ever eaten. Please give it a try next time you at Murrells Inlet. We love going to Myrtle Beach. We are already booked for Father’s Day in June 2024.

I love y’all’s videos so much! Soothing to watch. Growing up my family went to Myrtle Beach. My baby boy has never been. We’re taking him & his big bro to Pawleys Island for the 1st time in September. We’ll have to check out those places. My grandparents loved Pirateland. The beach is my happy place!🏝

I used to love traveling but I'm so afraid that covid killed it. I used to dream big now I just worry that I have enough for gas and groceries. I'm so tired of paying bills....well all I can say is that y'all traveling around is such a blessing. You go all the time lucky y'all.
Drunken Jacks, always a great time and food! Buc-ees is always crazy in Florence, but a must stop adventure. Safe travels, we always love a Murrell's Inlet trip for food and camping at Pirateland, glad you enjoyed your stopover!

I would love to go to Niagara Falls and/or Grand Canyon. Those are on my bucket list.
My bucket list was simple - I wanted to stay overnight at Mt. Leconte. We did that last fall and ready to do it again!! Took Alum Cave trail and probably Trillium Gap next time. Mike, I’m like you in my love for the Smokies. There’s no other place I’d rather be. Great video - thanks for taking us along!

I have put Drunken Jack's on our places to try list. Never spent time in Murrells Inlet only in Myrtle Beach. Looks lovely. Safe travels back to the mountains..We cannot wait to return next month.Hugs to Big T!!
Lee’s Kitchen, a locally owned seafood restaurant in Murrells Inlet is my favorite place to eat. I have been going there since the early 1970s. I grew up camping at Lakewood too.
Lee's is one of our favorite places to eat.

I would love to live full time in a nice big RV. Unfortunately my husband thinks he too old to do that now. He’ll be 84 this month and he has health issues. We have had several RVs through the years and had the opportunity to see a few things, so I’m grateful for that.

Last time in the Myrtle Beach area we stayed at Willow Tree RV Resort. Awesome campground with large, roomy sites, great facilities and an awesome lake with trail all the way around it, great beach area and inflatables. We've never eaten at Drunken Sailor before....we'll have to try it next time we are in the area.

Drunken Jacks is awesome! One of our favorites. We have another favorite that's not as far out, cheaper and back in Surfside. It's called Bubba's Fish Shack. Workers at Ocean Lakes Camping Resort recommended it. It's also easier to get in to. Give it a try sometime!
In a week my wife and I are going to Myrtle Beach and we are going to try Drunken Jack's. When our kiddos were at home we would go to Myrtle Beach every other year and go to The Sea Captain or Crappy Mike's or Benjamin's to eat. I'm glad I caught yalls video!😊

Love the marshmallow conversation. I wish Karen enjoyed them,lol. I love roasting marshmallows with my grandsons. My husband and I enjoy camping too. Thanks for taking us thru Myrtle Beach. We haven't been there from MS but have been to Wilmington.
I tell you what, you can't go wrong with a KOA. Cute campsite. Looks like a pretty, serene place. We stay at Ocean Lakes though because we keep our camper there year round. Top notch amenities but it's a super busy place.
When I saw y'all pass the skee ball place I had flashbacks. I threw my knee out last time I played. Haha how is that even possible.
Looks like we just missed you guys down there by about a week. We just back from camping at Huntington Beach State Park for 2 weeks.
We always eat at The Inlet Crab House & Raw Bar in Murrells Inlet. It’s just a few miles from the condo we rent in Garden city. Will be there mid October. Enjoyed the video as always.

I would love to see Alaska and also I would like to go to Sanibel Island Florida if they ever get it built back from the storm. And Karen You can't do it over the fire but if you take saltine crackers and put peanut butter on it and a marshmallow on top and bake them in the oven until brown they are delicious. I'm not crazy about marshmallows but they are really good.

I think you meant SC Gamecocks. :) I'm from West TN but live in SC (22 years) and have never been to Murrells Inlet. My husband hates Myrtle Beach so probably no more trips there. My son and his family go to MB several times a year. That's where his wife lived when they met. The mountains is where we love to visit. I would love to rent a big cabin or 3/4 small ones for our children, grandchildren and us in the mountains for a week.

My bucket list is to go to New England in the fall along with the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Smokies . Not interested in any foreign trip. I never heard of dipping hush puppies in butter. I like mine with ketchup. The only person I really want to go to New England with is my daughter and she is a school teacher and can’t take off in the fall. I do enjoy your videos and can’t wait for some of your beautiful fall adventures / hope they include the Blue Ridge parkway.

Big T’s trachea issue brings back sad memories for me. My jack Russell was 15 and she would make those same noises. My vet said her muscles on either side of her esophagus were weakened. She go so bad that I had to make the decision to have her put down.

Like some people, travel to Tennessee and the state to which my husband is from( SouthDakota) before we died. But..financially and health wise unfortunately for me we just can’t do it. We’re both 70 this year, and he’s still working but..now it’s only part time because he gets his Social Security. Shuck..makes me a bit more depressed. Enjoy guys.

@@FridaysForever hey I don't know if this will help I was just watching UA-cam and a commercial came on and it was called The Farmer's dog and a lady talking about the health of her 21 year old dog but it wasn't eaten wasn't doing right and she tried their product and now he acts young again so I don't know if that would help or not but the commercial said the farmer's dog I guess you can check out their website that's all I know
