3:56:48 was the chip time, gotta give yourself more credit, over 3 mins below your target time in your first marathon is quality 👏
What is a chip time?
@@huricanethreeonesix the clock starts from the start of wave 1, so if you're in wave 4 you're supposedly 15-30 mins behind the clock. but your running bib (number worn during the race) has a chip on it which tracks your time from when you personally cross the start line to when you cross the finish. it's accurate to the time that you run the marathon in, not the time that is on the clock.

Next year challenge - parish walk in the Isle of Man where I live! Have 24hrs to walk 80 ish miles but you can only walk NOT run!
