As an editor i just know that the graphic for the burgers was made in after effects and the entire project was added to a premier timeline, now normally you would “render in place” when a certain part looks good, but when you forget, the graphics that are supposed to be “final” get updated to the “live-file”. Its actually quite a common mistake that could happen to anyone. Normally it would be caught by QA, but for a youtube channel that probably isnt a thing.
It’s funny actually I found you from watching sidemen back in the day but gave that up a while back. But your new style content with food and travel is extremely enjoyable, but mainly I wanted to give a big shout out to your editor who makes the content really easy to digest and nice little visual stuff ! The Best burgers in the world I've ever had were made by myself. A home made 1/2 ribeye 1/2 leg of lamb burger, with a cajun aoili sauce, smoked gouda cheese, beer battered onion rings, spring mix lettuce and thin sliced Roma tomatoes on a crusty french bun.
In general the quality of a burger is probably logarithmic as a function of price, with some kind of horizontal asymptote after a certain cost. In other words you get serious diminishing returns fairly quickly and at some point, no matter if you spend more, the burger won’t get any better. I would guess that perhaps there might be a burger around 100 US dollars that’s really terrific and spending more wouldn’t be worth it. But this is about how nearly everything works really.
I would say a 5k burger is worth it though. If you leave with an unforgettable and enjoyable experience that you will probably never have again, then I would say if you have the means to do it, then do it. Forever memories are priceless.
