- This G-Scale garden railroad is owned by the owner of EnterTrainment Junction, the worlds biggest model railroad layout. Steam trains, model railroad buildings, passenger trains, trams or trolleys and freight trains run on these tracks. There are huge trestles and the railroad tracks actually go through a wall in the house and then come back out! Check out the waterfall and the living trees that have to be pruned almost every day. This garden railway is called The Great Western Reserve Railroad, named after the subdivision it is located in near Montgomery, Ohio. This is awesome. Does it have a proper name or more exact location or is it not a place that is open to the public? I've been looking to find it, but cannot.
It is privately owned and I can't give out the exact location. It is the Great Western Reserve Railroad. The owner is a member of the Greater Cincinnati Garden Railway Society. Go to their website and look for their annual open house when some of the members open their layouts to the public for a weekend.

@@JawTooth I thought about getting into this once.. but looked at one of the 4014 BIG BOYS-(that's the one I like most) and it was over $3,000 ALONE!! Plus all the wood for setup, the concrete work, the track , buildings, etc. -- on my little income SS (and half what I was suppose toget- I won't live long enough to afford it - ha. ) SO- that's why i love your vids so much!!!

G guage is 1:32 scale. An airbus a330 is 32x the leingth of a human and If you had a g guage a330, it would be the leingth of an adult human.
Another fact:
Thomas and friends is g guage.
G guage is 1:32. 1m = 32m
The 30mph speed limit would be 0.88mph. The national speed limit would be walking pace.
G guage distances. If you scale down to g guage
50 yards = 1 mile
London - Sussex: 1.5 mile
London paris: 7 miles
In g guage speeds
32 mph: 1mph
80 mph: 2½ mph
160 mph: 5 mph
300 mph: running pace

Is my dream to build something like this at home but H0 is the most easy to get scale where I live, not sure if that one runs ok for outdoors and, if it can stand rains as well as G scale.
