When I first watched this interrogation I found it interesting how she is most concerned she not be seen as an alcoholic, this bothers her much more than being a murderer.
Sarah Boone just got her 7th new attorney and trial is again delayed until Nov 28, 2023. Judge said next time he will start looking at why she and her attorneys can’t get along. I can’t understand why he didn’t do that when it got to new lawyer #3.
Absolutely correct! It's inexcusable to hold up the court and draw this out so long for the victims family, all for the soul purpose of appeasing this repugnant, spoilt, unlikable female
Who came back to watch this after she is now pro/se because of the exact behavior the panel nailed it. She wants expectance and pity. Her going through all the lawyers. she said “I just want her to be nice to me, and listen to me” You guys are always spot on!! 👏👏👏👏
Absolutely, but I think this would be a good one for Mark, too. He’d be like “hey, you want a cup of tea?” and by the the end of the chat she’d be thinking “well, I’ve got him wrapped around my little finger” without even realizing she’d blabbered out every single incriminating detail. 😆
Sarah actually said from the very beginning, when the police where still at the house “I just thought I’ll let him squirm for a while”, it happened so fast, so she KNEW then she wanted to punish him. It was actually the second time she said it. I thought, wow, did she really say that??? The detectives should have already known she said that while the crime scene was being investigated.
The constant interruptions, over-talking, not following through on her responses, arguing and simply not listening are so frustrating to watch. I can see how effective interrogation requires sharp wits, a sensitive ear and patience. It really is an art.
Those detectives need to be fired. My one granddaughter that is 10 yrs old could do a better job. Them being on their phones made me want to slap tf out of them. It's totally ridiculous.
The fact that THE DAY AFTER her boyfriend died, she sat and listened to him begging for his life as she stood berating him and had ZERO emotional reaction is absolutely chilling! I never even met the guy and listening to that made me sick and emotional. She is 100% a sociopath.
Sorry to ramble but.... any abused woman will tell you that the LAST thing you'd do would be to mock your abuser as hes pleading for his life, walk away and fall asleep if you believed for one second that he may free himself. There is not a CHANCE IN HELL she did that! She knew damn well that he was trapped in there and he'd likely die. Nobody seems to bring this fact up. Her story is bullsh!t from start to finish
You're not factoring in the intoxication. Bringing that fact up is very relevant and thinks for doing it! I was a victim of abuse- so I get the resentment and at times want for revenge for things that had happened. Factor in the alcohol, it's very realistic to think she made a bad judgemental call and also passed out before assuring he got himself out. I do NOT think she ever wanted or thought he would die nor did she intend to fall asleep. Alcohol however, had a different plan with her and that's on her for being careless.
I saw this interrogation days after it was available and the first thing that stuck out to me was how poorly it was done. To me, the worst of it was the vibe that the female interrogator was giving off. She was rude, defensive, belittling, sloppy (battery died), and accusatory from the very beginning. At one point, her left leg starts bouncing in a nervous manner...odd. I know that her cough is out of her control, but I found it distracting. I think it would have been best to have replaced her for this interrogation.
@@dinero2131not necessarily. Active listening is something you should do w your kids, from the time they speak till forever, something you should do at work and w family and people that matter, in general. I do it w my children, 2nd grade students- everyone but my husband, and that’s by choice, lol
This interrogation was so hard to watch. The lack of skills should be an embarrassment to that department. The inability to work from the same page was so frustrating to see. Hopefully, this will cause this police department to train. The suspect is showing more skills than they are.
I watched that interrogation and thought it was horrible. Comments on the video I watched were positive, but the detectives kept repeating themselves and were antagonistic from the start. There were dozens of questions I came up with immediately that they never asked.
The reason it’s an argument is because they are interviewing the most aggressive and argumentative person ever!! They just didn’t know how bad she was until her letter campaign accusing everyone ELSE of crimes , BUT HER. she’s the perpetual victim. Now at trial she’s placing herself as the victim
This was Feb of 2020, C-19 is not out of the question. I also have wondered if the whole suffocation subject is causing psychological shortness of breath.
I give the detectives alot more grace for their interrogation because they knew she was lying about everything and they didn't care about her repeating her BS story. They went and talked to her neighbors and her ex husband. She was/is an abuser, a compulsive liar, and a malignant narcissist. She and her boyfriend were drunk and fighting all night. She hit him with a bat and zipped him in the suitcase at the top of the stairs, then shoved him down the stairs. That's why the case was upside down at first, then she flipped it right side up. He bounced down to the bottom and she mocked him as he was begging for his life. She left him to squirm and punish him. She didn't think he would die, but her actions directly led to his death. 2nd degree murder. But they had figured all that out before this interrogation. They weren't interested in her story, but they knew she would never confess. She is such a narcissist that the most important thing to her is how other people see her and she DOES NOT want to be known as a murderer.
Chase's voice is so calm and demeanor so attentive and caring when he gives examples of sympathizing, asking questions, and building repor that I'm ready to tell him my life story and all my personal issues haha
The interrogators interviewed Sarah the day before and already personally disliked her. In this interview they were just done with her and already had enough evidence to arrest. They put their personal dislike for her above professionalism. If they did not have that video the detectives wouldn’t have gotten anything out of Sarah.
(Her lies about not drinking much backfired). In talking to the police at her house the day before, she kept saying that they had “just 1 bottle of wine”, afraid to admit to being very drunk. BUT if she would’ve been truthful about the drinking, it could’ve been a possible explanation of why she “forgot” about him and fell asleep. She’s as unintelligent as she is narcissistic.
Also in the 1st official interrogation, which took place in the Detectives car the same day of police arriving on scene, she clearly says that they can find both bottles of wine in the trash. Actually she says the bottles are in the trash. Sad that she doesn't even remember telling the 1st officer that they only had 1 bottle of wine 🤔
Sitting down to my 11 pm dinner of the last piece a Thanksgiving apple pie with whipped cream, silent house, sleeping peeps, sleeping doggo, alone at last and my battery IS fully charged for tonight's Behavior Panel , doesn't get much better.
*Thought the whole point of Hide & Seek was hiding where someone can't find you, NOT assisting someone in their hiding spot!! The investigators don't even question this!*
Her and her constant COUGHING are too much to bear. This was at a time when the last thing you wanted was someone hacking in your face like an owl passing a pellet. No mask, just letting em fly. The detectives had no sync, almost as if they were pared up for this case, and knew nothing about each other prior to it.
Yes, I totally agree! The hacking her brains out, perpetually, through the ENTIRE interrogation, gross. And, coughing into the hand is GROSS and spreads germs.
There's so much wrong about this interrogation but one of the worst parts is the female investigators incessant coughing. If they were interviewing me I would ask her to leave for my health sake lol
That dry, irritating cough! I had it one day while serving on a jury. There was nothing I could do, even continually sucking on lozenges didn't quell it for long. Everyone was annoyed by it, the judge even called me out on it. I just shrugged and put up my hands and said "I can't prevent it". Embarrassing! They all had to put up with it same as I did.
How she got away with a 2nd degree charge baffles me. The video she made shows the clear and malicious intent to keep him locked in the suitcase. She threw the suitcase down the stairs with him trapped inside it! Then she went to bed and slept in until 12:30!!! This is a definite 1st degree murder! She’s a monster!!!
I think it's kind of crazy that no one has ever mentioned that when they first show her that video and she hears his voice calling out her name and begging to get out, that she has absolutely no emotional reaction. I know that if somebody that I loved and cared for passed away a couple days prior and I heard their voice I would more than likely break down into some tears and have some sort of emotion.
You absolutely would. My dad passed 3 months ago I was looking through his old phone saw some videos he took just hearing his voice had me breaking down in tears. He was just talking about electrical work he was doing. 😢
To the female detective: Cough Drops. Look into them. To both detectives who bumbled their way through an interrogation and had not a clue of how to conduct one properly: Career Change. Look into it.
Unfair. As these guys have pointed out before, neither probably has had any interrogation training. If they don't know what they're doing, it's just lack of training.
It is interesting that the female interrogator looks like she’s dressed to paint a room and the male interrogator looks like he’s dressed for speed dating.
painters wear white, doofus!! the male sure did look good in the shirt! don't be jealous--he had HAIR!! ...how would u dress if u were a detective? i would dress comfy... ...glad ur soo interested in that--not the interrogation...
All the "ummm, like, totally," had me cringing so hard. They were by far the worst interrogators I've ever seen. That woman should pick a different profession.
Isn't anyone going to mention female interogator's cough? I watched the full interrogation - the cough drove me nuts. So annoying. I get it we are all human but for f*ck sake do not come into interrogation with a cough like this. The interrogation was a disaster on so many levels. That battery dying - I could not believe it.
Judging by the extra phone videos shown in court this is what happened: detectives: "we have all these videos that will convict her of 2nd degree easily and debunk any self defence claims" boss: "we still need to interrogate" detectives: "she's not gonna admit to anything, we know this, she's a frequent flyer, a *personality*" boss: "I don't care, you go in there and question her"
I was fascinated when I first watched the full interrogation sometime ago, but felt something wasn’t quite right with the interrogation, I couldn’t work out what it was but listening to each of you tonight you have all highlighted so eloquently how inadequate both detectives are and more importantly why. You are all on fire tonight and it reminds me of some of your earlier work on this channel and how brilliant you all are, all your individual unique characters were in perfect sync, which for me as a viewer has been missing for a while, but appears to be back on track after this analysis ( for me ) well done guys one of your best!
I thought same thing. But also thought that maybe having that video is what made them so cocky and unprofessional in the first place. Hard to say. Lol. Either way, they were all around awful!
I’ve been sending people over hear now that the Trial is ramping up. Hope you guys do a follow up of her in the courtroom. She’s changed her story and refused a plea deal. Love to get your input.
They noticed Boone reacted extremely poorly to the head detective (red shirt) texting, momentarily. They do it at the end, for an extended period, to see if they can get more.
If they had built repo ire and had given her an out, like, "We understand you say it wasn't intentional. They should have showed immense care and concern for her. They should have also said, I understand you are saying it was a mistake. We all make errors that we don't' know how it will end up." "You need us to stop the video, ok, I understand you just lost your partner and I know that has to be stressful for you. If they had done this, she would have likely sung like a canary giving them more and more details that could be used in her trial. I mean people open up when they feel understood and clam up when others argue with them.
What a disaster. Maybe cuz I’m a nurse(?) the thing that bugs me the worst is Typhoid Mary’s persistent cough, that she’s unmasked, and that everyone in the room is subjected to whatever bugs she’s spewing into the air relentlessly
Scott says..."y'all need to call somebody and get some help down there in Florida, quick." I live here and this is the understatement of the century 😅. Help!!!! For real lmfao
I was getting real irritated until I finally realized this was not about analyzing Sarah’s behavior but about the interrogators’ behaviors. Then I could follow along. And since you asked what we would do I’ll say I would have let her talk more freely and been less combative.
I agree they should have most definitely let her speak. I kind of felt like Boon was really wanting to talk about it, or talk in general. Even when the investigators were completely tuning her out, at times not even looking at her, she was STILL talking. They offered her zero sympathy zero empathy. They didn't soften the tone- they used zero tactics to get her to feel they were on her side. They were both playing bad cop. And btw, that guy standing in way that gave Boon total access to his gun...what the actual bleep?!!!!!
EXCRUCIATING. The interrogators were like a dysfunctional family trying to settle an argument! Know one listening. You guys were GREAT! Very entertaining show! Still learned a lot.
Yes, it does. Coming from a large family I know what your saying. Talking out a problem without speaking clearly. No one wants to prolong the discussion, hurt feelings or deal with the aftermath. Totally an ‘everything is fine’ family time discussion about Emily’s habit of bad practical jokes. 🇨🇦💖
The fact she’s not bawling her eyes out watching/hearing the video of him pleading to get out of the suitcase, tells you she is a horrible, disgusting person. If that was my partner I couldn’t live with myself.
She's saying that she wasn't aware that she took the video because they had been drinking, so the very first thing I would have asked is, then how are you certain that you didn't zip the suitcase all the way up?
I just LOVE these guys! Not just because they're brilliant at what they do, or that the subject is fascinating, but because they're all genuinely good friends and it shows❤
Orange County Florida. Same place Casey Anthony was interrogated. They definitely need some training! Remember how the two detectives took Casey Anthony into that room at Universal once she confessed she didn't work there? They NEVER shut up. They ran their mouths continuously so all she had to do was say, "Uh huh" "Okay/" etc. They had a tremendous opportunity there and they BLEW it. Everyone should go back and listen to that so-called "interrogation." Pitiful.

She was just a nasty and mean cop. Yuk
And her pointing her pointy-toed ballet flat right at her. That made me insane.
@@alteredcatscyprus lol yes!!!
She doesn't remember making the video, but she remembers that he hadn't been in the suitcase long before she made the video. How does that work?
Exactly...she cant have it both ways
I was annoyed with the investigators when I first watched this and I'm double annoyed with them now
The female detectives' constant COUGH alone is what makes this the WORST interrogation ever. I mean GRAB a fckin cup of water, woman, SMH..
I think I heard she had a cold but still…. I agree… get a cough drop and some water. The constant coughing and “um” every 20 seconds was hard to listen to. 😵💫
When I first watched this interrogation I found it interesting how she is most concerned she not be seen as an alcoholic, this bothers her much more than being a murderer.
Don’t tell my therapist, but I used to fall asleep to this interrogation every night for like six months. I was obsessed.
Placing someone into their "hiding place" kinda defeats the concept of hide and go seek! 😂
Please Behaviour Panel- please cover her testimony in her trail- happening right now.
The best part is Scott’s outtake and Mark cracking up. You guys are awesome!
Yes!!!!! They were hilarious today.
That female detectice was awful. Who in the hell would confess anything to her? Shes immediately confrontational.
"It's all backfired on me!" Well... the other guy is dead. I would think most of this backfired on him. 🙄
My impression is that this two detectives don't like each other. The woman detective seems to ignore him. She's has an attitude..
A HUGE self righteous attitude. She’s awful
I'd pay good money to see Chase or Greg doing a real interrogation.
Absolutely, but I think this would be a good one for Mark, too. He’d be like “hey, you want a cup of tea?” and by the the end of the chat she’d be thinking “well, I’ve got him wrapped around my little finger” without even realizing she’d blabbered out every single incriminating detail. 😆
If I were to be interrogated by Greg! Me:"🥶"
Between the male detective's shirt and the female detective's hacking cough, I would've asked for a lawyer just to get out of that air!😩
I might have even confessed! just 2 get away from both of them!!!! 😵💫😳😱
I still can't see what's wrong with his shirt. Is it dirty or what's going on?
I would have definitely confessed just to get away from that coughing!!
@@yeahB It looks like satin on which light reflected oddly. But even the colour is.... weird, when one wants to project control and authority.
Oh her sicky sounds make it so hard to listen to.
I've always felt that the female detective was combative and showed distain in her voice. If I was faced with her I wouldn't want to talk to her.
"I excel at everything"....
"Oh by all means, we weren't aware. You're excused."
Please do her testimony in court! I would love to see your opinions!
I like the format where the video is up above the panel and the four of you are underneath so we can see what you are commenting on. Great commentary!
Those detectives need to be fired. My one granddaughter that is 10 yrs old could do a better job. Them being on their phones made me want to slap tf out of them. It's totally ridiculous.
I know, right? Good Grief. They act as if they have never done this before.
Exactly!
I totally agree with you!
Sarah remembers that night that 1 piece in a 1000 piece puzzle was missing but can't remember
I pray she testifies. She's so entertaining, an exceptional mother and excels at everything.
And I pray we get to see it😂👍
That would be a treat! 😄
Yeah, WON'T be Excelling in court in January.
LOL
Yeah, she will probably EXCEL on the stand!
The interrogator's cough SO GOT ON MY NERVES!!
"Active listening" is a HUGE part of communicating & these detectives need a crash course in it.
You must have many years of experience in law enforcement interrogations.
I think they feel like they don't need a confession because it's all on video. So they were not to concerned
A lot of "I don't remember", but she remembers "I didn't zip it all the way."
And can we PLEASE get that woman a cough drop??? Ugh
This was Feb of 2020, C-19 is not out of the question. I also have wondered if the whole suffocation subject is causing psychological shortness of breath.
@@EMurph42 I was thinking the same thing.
I think you're exactly right!
No one was gonna get anything outta sarah...6 lawyers later and she's trying to get the judge to buddy up with her...
She didn't bother covering her cough or anything, she's just raining phlem all over the room
I noticed that too.
There has been many many comments about that
You absolutely would.
OMG If you open your window you will hear me laughing in Canada.....funny funny comment
painters wear white, doofus!!
the male sure did look good in the shirt!
don't be jealous--he had HAIR!!
...how would u dress if u were a detective?
i would dress comfy...
...glad ur soo interested in that--not the interrogation...
Hahaha 😂😂😂
It seems the detectives were TOLD to try and get a confession. They're acting as if the video they have is enough and we're forced to interrogate her.
"No one understands our relationship" - says everyone in an abusive relationship ever
What do you expect from a woman that starts and ends every sentence with UMM and who obviously goes to work with a very bad cough.
I’m right there with you!
I agree! She was even coughing when they went to the crime scene to conduct the first interview!!
Judging by the extra phone videos shown in court this is what happened:
detectives: "we have all these videos that will convict her of 2nd degree easily and debunk any self defence claims"
boss: "we still need to interrogate"
detectives: "she's not gonna admit to anything, we know this, she's a frequent flyer, a *personality*"
boss: "I don't care, you go in there and question her"
I was fascinated when I first watched the full interrogation sometime ago, but felt something wasn’t quite right with the interrogation, I couldn’t work out what it was but listening to each of you tonight you have all highlighted so eloquently how inadequate both detectives are and more importantly why. You are all on fire tonight and it reminds me of some of your earlier work on this channel and how brilliant you all are, all your individual unique characters were in perfect sync, which for me as a viewer has been missing for a while, but appears to be back on track after this analysis ( for me ) well done guys one of your best!
easy brainwashed, eh?
These interrogators were lucky she video recorded her crime. Otherwise they’d have never figured out anything.
The coughing from the interrogator drove me nuts 🙈🙈
Me too. She must have had a cold but still it's so annoying
I have a chronic cough and I didn't notice the detective coughing..lol
forget training lets talk about professionalism. playing with your phone at work is not acceptable at any job.
They noticed Boone reacted extremely poorly to the head detective (red shirt) texting, momentarily. They do it at the end, for an extended period, to see if they can get more.
The worst thing you can do to a narcissist is to be completely disinterested.

If they had built repo ire and had given her an out, like, "We understand you say it wasn't intentional. They should have showed immense care and concern for her. "You need us to stop the video, ok, I understand you just lost your partner and I know that has to be stressful for you. I can't decide what's more annoying about this video: the female detective's constant cough, her vocal fry or Sarah's personality in general.
What a disaster. Maybe cuz I’m a nurse(?) the thing that bugs me the worst is Typhoid Mary’s persistent cough, that she’s unmasked, and that everyone in the room is subjected to whatever bugs she’s spewing into the air relentlessly
LOL

I live here and this is the understatement of the century 😅. Help!!!! For real lmfao
Many of us are thinking that about Florida! 😂
I can't stand the interviewer "coughing and hacking.
Never heard anyone brag about excelling in everything.
It will be interesting to see if these detectives are introduced at trial as "former detective so and so."

The female detective's cough is disgusting . She coughs about 30x in each video. 🤢
She has asthma :(
Her coughing drives me crazy!
She's on break from waffle house
I don’t know what is more irritating, Sarah and how great she s or the cough.
The fact she’s not bawling her eyes out watching/hearing the video of him pleading to get out of the suitcase, tells you she is a horrible, disgusting person. If that was my partner I couldn’t live with myself.
