Jeff Gordon from 95-98 was amazing!
3 titles and a second place finish by 37 points and 40 wins! The man averaged 10 wins a year for a 4 year span! Not counting 2 All Star race wins and a pole shootout win to go along with it. No wonder Dale Earnhardt fans hated this guy.
1997 Atlanta Race 2 was the first Atlanta race with the current quad oval track. The first Atlanta race was the last with the Darlington like oval.
This season marked a career high 7 wins in a single season for Dale Jarrett. Just two years later, he would win his first and only Championship.
