One of the skills that I have yet to master is stopping. My time at the rink just isn't there where I can learn it very effectively. Can this product help me learn how to stop at home?
I'm really curious how these would work for Goalies. You showed a goalie doing crease movements but only while he's on his feet, how it for sliding when in the butterfly. Do you require the fabric bags over the pads to get a more realistic slide?
Sounds awesome, Also I really enjoy watching the video's but branching out into goalie videos as well would be cool, I would be happy to help as well if you would like it. I am the UK rep for Maltese Sports which is an impact protection company for Ice hockey from the USA. I also have Passau full set which is custom pro gear and True/VH goalie one piece skate.
You should totally do that. I for one would like to see it. Would also like to know about wear. Will this material and the shavings that are on it wear the knee pad and cause it to scratch'/cut which might cause it to not slide as well on actual ice. This material looks awesome, and as a Goalie I'd really like to know more about how it works for us. Everyone shows and talks about the player orientation of products but never any information on how a Goalie could benefit from it,
We've never used any sleeves for goalies but we will pick some up and test them out just to see if it really adds anything extra. Our Instagram account and other social media (youtube) has some videos of goalies too. Thanks everyone!
Great video. What square footage do you have at your HQ? Just measured my garage and can fit 16ft x 16ft. Comes out to $3,500.00U.S. with shipping. Very tempting!!!
When I win the lotto... Wonder if refrigeration coils could be installed below? Or have an covered outdoor rink, that could be frozen in winter, and squeegeed off once it melts? 🤔 ...
nice video, wish you would of shown the goalie sliding side to side. As a goalie its still hard to believe there isn't a lot of friction. I know the goalie said it was good but seeing is believing xD
Thats a great point. While editing its easy to forget what a goalie would want to see as a player. We'll share a few clips of this on instagram or Facebook as soon as we can.
Xtraice Home are unquestionably better but cost more. Each tile/panel is also much larger. HS tiles are one of the most affordable tiles on the market but not the best in quality.
Cute. It’s not my living room, it’s the Hockey Tutorial office training room. We built a space to make video. Here’s a tour of it ua-cam.com/video/gxbsop4JqPU/v-deo.html
Awesome video guys! We're all blushing over here ;-) Psyched to see that you guys are enjoying the product. Thanks for choosing Xtraice Home!!
I love your videos. You re my go to guy when I need to learn about equipment , tips and skills to help my son be a better Hockey player🤗
Thank you so much!

I thought this as well, would be interested to see slide movements.
Looks like we should share a video on just goalie movements. What do you think ? HT Goalie reviews.. I like the sound of this.

Our "mini rink" space is around 30ft x 30ft. Our total HQ is 1,700 square feet.
Hockey Tutorial Chris, one more little thing. Any idea how would it perform being 240lbs who sweats alot??
@Hocky Tutorial - So, how many panels did you used for your mini rink space that's 30ft x 30ft?
Yes I was wondering the same question of how many tiles did you have for that 30x30 space?
Which synthetic ice tiles are the best you have used? Xtraice? Glice? Hockey shot? Some other synthetic ice panel?
Great Video thank you for all you do!!

Xtraice Home are unquestionably better but cost more. Each tile/panel is also much larger. HS tiles are one of the most affordable tiles on the market but not the best in quality.
