yes. That reminds me of a trip I took 2 years ago and I stayed at a place and I decided to check out a couple of days earlier and they gave me a check for two nights that I wasn't staying there. I took the check and I was being driven to and from because I don't have a car and when I got back to where we all were at at this other person's house I looked at the check because I wanted to take a picture of it. I noticed that they had typed a totally different last name they put Long instead of Young and I said oh no I said to the people who I was staying with and said I need to go back to the hotel look at this check with my last name long instead of young.
Yeah... I'm surprised some act like they don't know! Spelling your given name and surname properly in official documents may also save you from legal BS happening. What if Veronica got into actual stealing - and for no reason - while Veronika didn't? And not to mention paychecks, retirement pensions, situations where paid leave and permissions are agreed with a doctor, a hospital or another welfare unit. Bro, spell names well on official documents that your boss, your doctor, your landlord or the police might handle!
Yes! It IS that important!! I get upset when ppl don't spell my name correctly too! If it's not spelled how I spell it, u must not be talking to or about me.
Legally, Veronika was actually stealing. One cannot take the law in one's hand and take items to make up for someone's mistake, even when the company is at fault. There are valid avenues to correct injustice.
@@Counter_Dragon Well, it was a time clock accident, actually, but even if outright deliberate theft, one can't take the law in one's own hands and perpetrate vigilante justice. There are other means for justice and compensation. If my neighbor stole something from me, I cannot legally and justly return the crime and steal from his home. Any court of law would convict you, and then perhaps not hear your lawsuit since you came to court with dirty hands.
Veronica or Veronika is a big difference when the check arrives and you cannot cash it because of a misspelling.

Or for getting credit for a particular project.
It also matters who gets credit for a job well done and vice versa

These are just painful to watch, and I love them!
U always know they're full of 💩 when they don't answer any questions with a simple "yes" or "no" answer.

If you misspell my name I will intentionally misspell yours after I have requested correction 3 times.

Veronika, I am telling y'all would be a pain in the ar$e to work with.
Wage theft is ALSO theft, but somehow no one cares about that. It's also the BIGGEST category of theft committed in the United States.
Wage theft is theft too.
