    These type of cuts takes a while. Just the blending part of the cut alone takes time, minus the shear work. A little more time if you have to do beard work. These cuts should cost more, because of the amount of work you have to do to achieve the look that the client wants.

  • @eeiko321
    @eeiko321 Місяць тому +1

    That’s fire 🔥 man!
    So if I want to use a no guard Open to substitute the #0.5 guard closer instead, what would you recommend as the steps for your way (avoid using the #1 guard)

    • @Loscuts_
      @Loscuts_  Місяць тому +1

      Yes! And depending on the hair texture, at times you don’t need to use the one guard by flicking with that 0.5, play around with it!

    • @eeiko321
      @eeiko321 Місяць тому

      @@Loscuts_hey thanks for the reply! Love your work man!
      By the way I was referring to 3:09 where you did the 2nd guideline with #0.5 guard closed and then Open.
      Most barbers usually use No guard open for that guideline.
      If I was to use that method of using No guard open for 2nd guideline (instead of the 0.5 guard closed) any recommendations for steps?

    Insane, best technique that I started using is yours after 2 years of self cutting and its been a drastic improvement since.
    for a self cut, what guard would be safe to just vertically go up with? I wanna avoid mushroom hair, but scissors over comb is literally impossible to do on yourself haha

    • @Loscuts_
      @Loscuts_  Місяць тому +1

      I love this. And it depends on your hair texture! Start with a higher numbered guard like a 5 or 4 and work your way down to 2 or 3!
