Otto was my favorite teacher at M.I.
Always friendly and as knowledgeable as can be.
Even though it’s been almost ten years since I graduated RIT (kind of sad how fast time flew) I can honestly say I haven’t come across anyone that knows more about Logic. The dude could write the manual!

Maybe you need a more advanced class but even if that’s the case Otto could still teach it.

He wants it to be stock so people could follow along easily. If you want to learn by listening to someone shred and play something you could never replicate then just listen to your favorite albums…
He’s not trying to make the best song ever, and that is a very competitive and tough thing to do. If that were his goal with this then he wouldn’t be doing a great job, but he’s trying to quickly and efficiently show some of the features of Logic 10.5 and he did.
I’ve had many great teachers and no one is better than Otto. There’s engineers I met at Atlantic Records who didn’t know half of what Otto does about PT and Logic, and some of them like JP Negrete (the head engineer at Atlantic for a long time) went to MI and probably sat in Ottos class themselves.
Making some interesting music with the tips and tricks that a guy like Otto can give us is OUR job more than his!
