don't get so close to the edge of a cliff! you don't know if it's going to collapse.....stay safe. The solitude of this place - wow!
As usual, your videos are unbelievable. I enjoy travelling with you from the comfort of my easy chair.

I second that, a lot of people have died taking selfies on cliffs and even tall building roofs by getting hit with a wind gust. it does happen, stay safe slim.

Thanks so much for correctly pronouncing “Mogollon”. I lived on the rim for several years. You become accustomed to hooking your foot under the car door when you open it. You see cars and trucks with obvious damage from the door swinging wide open and hitting the body in front of the door. What a great place the rim is. It goes from over in NM all the way to the Grand Canyon.

Your videos are always amazing Slim, both visually and with your descriptions of the locations you visit. It's like you are writing a book for those that can't see!. Very well done, so thanks for the great views of this spot, we hope to visit that location - it's on our bucket list!

Wow, another magnificent video! Beautiful wilderness, heart-stopping views . . . yes, places like these need to be kept peaceful and pristine. Makes one thankful that the roads there are a bit harder to traverse. Your "soaring with the bird" made me soar along with the wind in my heart, too. Thank you for sharing your amazing travels, Mr. Slim. Safe travels and more peaceful adventures . . .

Love the combined shot of you and the bird both enjoying the updraft! Your enthusiasm for wind, snow, rain... I am the same. It is lovely to spend time “with” a kindred spirit.

Loved this video. It brought back old memories. As a young man, I spent many hours, exploring the Mogollon Rim country. Back then, in the 60s I would go up by myself and explore I had one of the first Ford Broncos. I almost never used any of the trails that now exist. Instead, I would go in and find an exit point through trees and just start driving towards the rim. Not a wise thing but I was not a wise kid. I would camp overnight, usually on the weekends and remember experiencing the exhilarating feeling of looking out over all the valleys below, and experiencing the almost constant wind at the rim. Thanks for sharing this video it brought back fond memories to an old man, in the reworked words of another, ancient man, “you made my day.”

I truly enjoy your wonderful trips and videos with your A liner. I just bought an old used Chalet A frame camper trailer and can't wait to start my adventures! You are a real inspiration for people like me who are just starting out with our camper/trailer travels. I have so much to learn and your videos have shown me so many things. I love the 2x4 lumber rig you use to help lift the roof of your A liner. My springs are old and I have to lift it with a thick stick! I will continue to support and follow your videos here. Happy trails!

Beautiful photography Sir. I just wish U didn't stand so close to the edge! Yep, U guessed it, height scares the heck out of me. I'd love to be able to go some of the places U have seen, but I'd be very reluctant to drive out on a ridge like that. Love viewing what our God has Created for us to see with our eyes.

You sounded and looked like a hang glider pilot as you talked about how magnificent the birds are as they soar in ridge lift. Then, as you stood on the edge, arms spread, feeling the wind you were just one step away from being a hang glider pilot. You can experience what you were dreaming at that moment. That is what flying hang gliders is all about!

Awesome video I've grown up in the Mogollon Rim country and still find new places to see there it is full of a rich history some awesome Lakes and streams and so many boondocking spots I can't even begin to count them then below the Mogollon rim you've got the Verde River a place called Child's that's a pretty rough one to get into with a trailer awesome hot springs there you have to go almost to the town of Camp Verde to go there.
