This song has to be the most under appreciated song in George Michael's library. Definitely my favorite. So smooth and mellow. George Michael was so ahead of his time. A master and a beautiful human being. RIP George! You are missed so much, especially by those of us that grew up with you.

Most underrated artist of any kind in any genre in human history. The talent possessed by George Michael was merit enough to place him on a Michael Jackson level
My mom was not necessarily a fan of George Michael, but she absolutely loved this song. My dad was a fantastic jazz musician, and this tune had the feel of the music he wrote and played. About 5 years ago, I stripped the first 30 seconds of this song and converted it to a ring tone and attached it to my mom's number. The intro to this song was what I'd hear every time she called or sent me a text. Unfortunately, we lost her to cancer about 9 months ago. Moving forward, whenever I hear the beginning of this song, I'll know it won't be from her calling or texting me. With that said, this song will forever hold a special place in my heart.

It certainly does, I remember when it came out just before Christmas 88.
@@monica93304 I'm 50 as well, we were 18 when this hit, good days...glad your here remembering those days...
@@michaelroecker2649 we grew up to GREAT music that we listened to on Walkmans or the radio. Heck, MTV back when they played music videos!
“We could have showed them all, We should have seen love through”. Haunting lyrics
One of George's best. The poignant words...the silky smooth richness of his voice which just reaches into the depths of your soul.
That smooth richness is the result of pushing a lot of air. It's a technique...
Amen sis! You’ve said it all!! It seeps into the depths of your soul….melancholy, yet beautiful! A beautiful soulful voice that’s gone way too soon!
Simply The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is what perfection sounds like ❤ His voice, pure magic! Anything George sung turned to gold!
George Michael is a genius artist..
This & Careless Whisper.
strangers thing
You're very much alive in my heart, gorgeous George! That voice of yours is so beautiful.
There is no reason this song shouldn't have at least 500 million views by now.
Yes!!!
Right!!!!!
Or even more right! Love him.
His voice is absolute perfection.
He was a genius song writer
I still cannot believe he made this song when he was in his 20's. This song is like aged wine. The more you listen to it and the more you like it after you taste all the happiness and sadness in your life.
WoW had no idea he was that young when he produced such a Gem.
This song has it all - the thumping bass, the piano, the smooth retro bluesy feel, and the soulful voice of one of the greatest pop stars ever. RIP, George.
George Michael have never imagine the impact this song have on other people. WOW!

Dieses Lied ist einfach nur wunderbar, love it❤❤❤
Most underrated artist of any kind in any genre in human history. The talent possessed by George Michael was merit enough to place him on a Michael Jackson level
He's hardly underrated at all. He's George Michael for heavens sake.
Probably the greatest vocalist in decades…. Magnificent voice control and supremely smooth delivery. Iconic and matchless is all you can say…
A CLASSIC!!!
I can’t get over the absolute perfection of his voice! This song is deliciously melty, like you’re savoring best chocolate in the world.
It's like butter when this guy sings he truly was a magnificent singer
Chris Ranz. He’s the “white chocolate “ version of Luther Vandross. Such mellow, smooth, velvety voices... so very very beautiful
Wow 💞
One of the best ever. Beautiful and calming.
Yes, butter. Great description

Wow... 33 years later and it's still magic - utter genius. Love and respect to the Maestro.
Ich vermisse dich George Michael alles du bist auch ein Stern 🌟 ❤😊🎉
I listened to this song every weekend for 10 years now. And I still love it
Me too
My mom was not necessarily a fan of George Michael, but she absolutely loved this song.
Bless your heart & I don't know you but I'm very sorry about your Mother. May she rest in Peace.
Truly one of the best( If not the best) male vocalist to ever grace this earth!
And the romantic flair....
당신은 영원한 하늘에 별이 되어 빛나고 있네요 겨울이 오면 당신음악을 들으면서 당신을 추억 합니다
Talented and handsome as hell 🥰
You got that right sucker
This is one of the most beautiful songs ever made. So soothing on the ears.
His voice was so magically flawless 😢.I could listen to his voice all night long.He was one of a kind, there'll never be a musical genius like him again.R.I.P George you are so missed 😢.
This song never gets old, for someone giving their all to someone who fooled me with the thoughts of something that was true and all along was gaslighting me and all because boundaries weren't set and refused to believe in us. I can admit I was the fool but never again
I really wish he had done an album of jazz standards. Such a great voice.
I think he has the best voice of all time. It crushes me that he's gone.
I know
I was shocked when I learned he passed away. Couldn't believe it.
Winchester 79....I second that for sure !
I cried for a week when I found out he passed away
George knew that Freddie Mercury was. George is right up there.
Just a beautiful masterpiece. Work of art. ❤
