First off, I sadly didn't have a favorite TMNT style show when I was young. Sailor Moon and anything like that was the thing for me. Second, the sequel is baaaadd or at least I thought so when I saw it back in 2018. It actually felt dumber than the 90's show so that feels like a bad sign. The only thing I did like was how different Vinnie and Murdoc looked (but they shrunk down Throttle which made me mad) and that it had a ongoing plot about how the mice had to find their old mentor who was hiding on earth with a machine that could terraform mars into a better place. Well after seeing this video I think I'm going to rewatch some episodes and maybe re-read some VinniexCharley fanfics
i'd say the 2003 TNMT series was my favorite, and it still holds up extremely well today! It had solid animation, good writing, awesome action, and easily one of the scariest animated villains i've ever seen in its version of Shredder.
To answer your question about Chicago and hotdogs, Chicago actually has it's own style of hotdog that is considered a signature food of the city that can trace its roots back to the Great Depression (the style referred to as "dragged through the garden" due to the large number of toppings added). There's even a bit of a rivalry between Chicago style hotdogs vs New York style ones.
That scene where Vinnie just straight tells Charley to turn around and let him see the back made me realize more of what this shows demographic is. I mean there was a scene where two of the the rodents were completely shirtless.
I grew up on the reboot in 2006 which lead me to the original after and i love it dearly! Kinda helps i myself ride motorcycles too lol. Out of them all, growing up, Throttle was my favorite and still is to this day.
Loved the show during it's first run. Didn't catch the reboot. Chicago has a very distinct hot dog style. Topped with yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomatoand a dash of celery salt. Chicagoan Social Media creator Greg Miller even named his dachshund after a local hot dog restaurant.
21:18 And the hedgehogs never came close to finding their mother due to the show being cancelled after only one season. And no the online fan made comic doesn't count!
It took me a minute to realize Carbuncle's voice is the same actress who plays Wuya from Xiaolin Showdown. When I first connected the dots, I shouted "Holy crap!"
Oh man, I *loved* the Biker Mice! Definitely one of my all time favorite cartoons from my childhood. I watched every single episode. Only once. Watched some episodes twice years later. I still remember it so well, as if I had watched it several times, it really left a mark in me. A good mark.
Having heard how much you love the BMFM, I HIGHLY suggest you never taint your eyes with the sequel series. It is straight up horrible. Loved the video though and always glad to see people talking about this show!
Hell yeah! My brother and I had the first 3 episodes on VHS and I loved it. This was the pinnacle of cool to me, although the other girls in school did not relate.
This show along with Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Swat Kats, Street Sharks, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, and Extreme Dinosaurs made up most of the cartoons I watched in the 90s and I still like them.
I love this review!!! ❤ As a relatively new fan to Biker Mice From Mars I can gladly say I adore it!! I love the snappy and witty dialogue, the characters, and all the hidden lore that’s hinted at throughout the show!! When I got to the origins episode I literally couldn’t help but go OH MY GOD?? Throttle is my favorite character mostly cuz of his voice and badass design! I guess I’m a sucker for stoic leaders 🤣 Overall I’m super excited for this series to get its resurgence in the mainstream soon!! 😊
Yes, yes yes....this has definitely made my day. It's one of the cartoons I am obsessed with to this day and i'm proud to be part of the fandom. Also the official soundtrack for the show, there are some seriously slamming tunes on there. Karbunkle happens to be voiced by a woman as well.
The German dub was awesome as well (I defend the dubs, they deserve respect as people should think about the work of the voice actors) Nice vid and greetings from Germany 👍🏻
Cheesy? Yes, but, that doesn't mean it's not still enjoyable. For example: I love the 80s Transformers cartoon. Compared to later TF incarnations like BW & IDW does it seem much sillier? Of course. But it's a fun, entertaining show nonetheless.
12:58 As a member of Ghostbusters: Chicago Division who has been to several comic book conventions that crossed over with such things... You ain't far from the truth, chief.
I actually did watch the 2006 Biker Mice. I liked the theme song and I remember bits and peices I liked and dropped off like at the beginning of the cyber world arc. Not because of the show's quality I just lost cable
You know, it's rare for a kids cartoon aimed primarily at boys to write a girl character who is as tough as the primary male characters and it even more rarer is not somehow sexualizing the said female character and writing her decently
Remember the cartoon in the time when they transmited in Azteca 7 in saturday in the same space with Saint Seiya. Bonus points when the voice from the intro have the Great Master and Vinnie is the voice of Seiya
We have seen Fiction Addiction's opinion on Stone Protectors, Asterix, Dreamworks Trolls, Trollz, the Muppets, Brave Starr, Filmation's Ghostbusters, Street Sharks, and now Biker Mice from Mars. I would like to know his opinion on the Smurfs.

Biker mice from mars is my all time favourite cartoon EVER. I still watch it today and I always read fan fiction on BMFM. And Vinnie is always my favourite. And I still think Charlie and Vin should get together but that's just me.... Limburger and Karlbunkal I think are funny and Fred the mutant is underrated. I think Stoker should of been in the show more and Rimfire.
Could you cover "Cybersix" (either the comic book or animated series) in the near future. Its a very interesting and unique superhero series that I belive deserves more recognition.
This show has cult status in finland. Dub cast had only 6 voices but they were all-star cast. Script was change with more regional accent, finnish famous people and even more adult jokes. It had only 3 cassette release here but it was syndicated later at hd edition regular and cable channel years later. We can only hope for dvd release. The new series in my opinion is not so great and most old fans agree.
Just watched the first two episodes of the sequel and the Patakiens Are no longer the main villains They got replaced with a race of cat people and And they’re on a road trip

The 2006 version is not all that great first off the change the look of the mice from their hot muscled version to scrawny ragged rat versions of themselves so even when the original voice cast lends their voices it doesn't match the mice's new looks. And Modo's badass chopper bike is turned into a three wheeled piece of shit bike the only thing I liked was their helmets which looked very cool & different. Had they kept the bros old looks but modernized them add the new helmets & the mice would've looked even hotter. Esh, I really want you to do a video on the 2006 sequel series. I really want to that.
Confession: Modo was my first crush as a kid. He was everything I wanted to be: big and strong yet kind and polite.
You have good taste

To answer your question about Chicago and hotdogs, Chicago actually has it's own style of hotdog that is considered a signature food of the city that can trace its roots back to the Great Depression (the style referred to as "dragged through the garden" due to the large number of toppings added). 15:29 Answer: Yes!!!
Hot dogs are extremely famous in Chicago. Usually being served with the works, such as pickles, yellow mustard, and celery salt.
That “watch the merchandise” but got me good.
That scene where Vinnie just straight tells Charley to turn around and let him see the back made me realize more of what this shows demographic is. I mean there was a scene where two of the the rodents were completely shirtless.
You saw the video too? Too bad you didn't share which demographic you mean, it's almost as if you don't care at all xD.
@@nielsklarenberg5871 I mean 1: This was a year ago 2: it’s a cartoon so I shouldn’t have to care 3: My perspective and "demographic" changed
It was also from the 90's...a lot of kids shows did this. I mean come on.."Hellooooo nurse"? Even the animaniacs did that.

Wow this show has crazy amounts of personality
I've gotta say: I've been waiting for this for a long time!!
this show just like many other 90s shows is kept alive by nostalgia and rule 34 and folks hoping their will be live action version.
So the protagonists are mice and the villains are named after cheese? It's hard to believe that it was the cheese that won the war
