Finally someone with a correct response with this issue, I don’t understand how this subject is so twisted and misconstrued however there is a devil and his demons that benefit greatly from twisted scriptures to hurt souls that really want to seek the Kingdom, and forgiveness and being repeatedly hurt by a believer will turn their hearts cold toward God and the church.

_Be on your guard! If your brother sins, _*_rebuke him_*_ ; and _*_if he repents, forgive him_*_ ._
    Luke 17:3 NASB2020
Forgiveness is conditional. An exception to that are minor transgressions (a multitude of sins) which should be covered by Love.

And yet at the same time I would say there are a few cases where Jesus simply just said forgive (i.e the Lord's Prayer) in a way that denotes such an action without conditions

I believe people should forgive and forget I will tell you why. Okay if you just forgive and never forget one way or another if they do something similar to what you forgave them for you will up the previous event because you didn’t forget about it. Which in fact proves you didn’t actually forgive them in the first place because if you did you wouldn’t bring up what they previously did. Something they do could easily make you remember so it’s best to forgive and forget.

My father thought he has the license to physically hurt me and doing it purposely. I chose to forgive but it seems like he never change. he willfully do it. im just human being i also get hurt. It hurts my heart. feeling suffering. it is hard. i always choose forgive even if people already do it purposely. because i love the Lord i forgive. But its true doesn’t mean we should trust a person who abuse us. Thats when the time i asked God why all are bad to me even my brothers.

I have much difficulty with this one. When an elite group is planning your death along with billions of others, how is it even possible to forgive or forget. They have killed so many already, it just brings me to tears.

Remember, forgiveness is a process and it’s not always easy. It’s important to take care of yourself and prioritize your own well-being. If you’re in a dangerous situation, please seek help immediately.

I am personally not in any danger at all but there thousands of women & children coming across the southern border that are. They are being placed in the custody of pedophiles, pimps & others & we have no idea if they will even be alive by weeks end.
Line item 1 on The Georgia GuideStones called for reducing the World's Population to 500 Million - Most people have no idea that these & things so much worse.
Yes, I do have a problem with forgiving this level of Evil, so I make it a point to spread the word whenever the opportunity arises.@@glacticmobilegameplay8728

But if they ARE repentant, reconciliation is Biblical. Ephesians 2:14-22. We are to forgive as many times as 70 times 7, which suggests an exercise of forgiveness and a continued striving for reconciliation.

Let's look at the story of Joseph. Yes, he forgave his brothers and he did so _AFTER_ he made sure that they are truly repentant, that they were truly sorry for what they did and changed their behavior.
Thus, I don't think it's anti-biblical to first ascertain whether they are truly repentant. Of course, if we really do have proof that they earnestly repented, then we should should forgive. True repentence means feeling sorrow for what one did, change their behavior and trying to make up for the damage one cause, whenever possible.

Jesus often employed hyperbole. To address this question specifically: if one is to forgive others even when they're unrepentant, then why doesn't God just forgive Satan? Why doesn't He just forgive Judas?
In fact, why preach the Gospel at all if we're automatically forgiven? God is Love and He is also Justice. Justice means upholding accountability.
We know for a fact that God doesn't forgive unrepentant sinners, Jesus said so numerable times. How is it then that we are beholden to a higher standard than God Himself, which would be absurd. Jesus said we have to be perfect _like_ God is perfect, not _more_ perfect, which is an impossibility.

It's mandatory if it's about your marriage partner since we're against divorce. But we are talking people outside of that who are important to us like family or best friends, then it will depends on how severe the sin they commit to us, the reason why they did it, and how guilty they are feeling about it. After it a healthy discussion and reconciliation can happen or if not you have no choice other than learn how to co-exist with them.

I don’t think that’s entirely true, her goes a little rant,if you stop replaying past trauma in your head you can actually forget the entire experience,I definitely believe we are wrong about erasing memories,in fact the more present you are the harder it is to remember the past, after a while you honestly don’t have to force yourself to be present, you just are all the time! It’s programming, you can definitely delete memories trust me you can wipe out everything!!! I’ve been on this for 3 years and monk’s probably agree with me on this,Bruce lee said empty your mind and some other stuff lol I believe he meant be present when you fight so you can bend reality to your benefit,no self doubt no questions just the guy in front of you and what you have been practicing, clean canvas with no noise is definitely possible if you practice every day, think of yourself smacking a kids hand every time you think of the past you mentally smack that memory over and over again to the point it becomes far deep in your memories, don’t worry new problems will always come obstacles w/e you call them but at least old memories won’t hunt you, they can become demons that hunt you.
