- This is a Noita Nightmare Mode run that I did on the latest patch as of 6/20/21. Nightmare mode has gone through several different iterations and I figured I would throw this one up on the channel in case anyone wanted to see the current state of Nightmare Mode.

I'm a new player; recently made a wand with the freeze modifier and discovered Draught of Midas floating at the end portal above the fungi area in the coal pits; I had exploding corpses and was really laying into the fungus area with a deficient wand messing up the terrain. I was able to bottle some and got over 14k gold before I left the zone. now win yet but haven't died enough too. Love the videos I have watched many over the last week or two after getting into the game.

"nightmare" mode. Gives him everything he needs to be a god in the first zone.
"normal" mode. you get a .35 cast delay, 3.42 second recharge, 98 mana, 4 mana recharge wand with bouncy "go fuck yourself" ball. EZ. MODE.
He makes it look easier than it is, but once he got to the jungle the struggle really began, as happens with most nightmare runs. I played so much nightmare mode that when I started playing the base game again, I got a win streak of over 30. But I've only beaten Nightmare mode five times, total. Not a single win streak. Even wands that seem godly early on isn’t enough sometimes. That is how brutal nightmare mode is compared to base game, take it from someone who plays Noita WAY too much.
@@cortster12 So cool, i have 40 hrs and havent had a win yet, i keep dying in the temple biome below the biome below the jungle (i think)
I just am not good at making good wands or taking advantage of bosses yet.

Finally a run without add manas, chainsaws and even spark triggers
The current run I'm on. I'm trying for sun quest, but it took going to east 7 before I found a single chainsaw. And the last wand I checked in wand mart had one blackhole. Some seeds are brutal. I got concentrated spells before his base cause my wands were total junk. But that gave my 10 sparkbolts devastating damage and allowed me to get through the jungle without much problems. Noita is such an awesome game.

Noita finds a way. Like killing you by explosion when you have explosion and fire immunity. Never gonna use an always cast: personal fireball thrower wand again.
I got ionized in the Vault. That run ended there.
devs, imagine noita 3D fo a sec.
I feel like not being able to see behind you in a 3D fps setting would make that really hard

So I watched the beginning of this video and decided to jump in to a nightmare run, died from a nuke straight away, classic. But my second run I got awesome perks and a solid wand to start so I go straight to the pyramid and beat the boss getting an EPIC wand. I'm low health but confident I'll be fine, when as I'm walking back up the first grassy hill after the desert a WHOLE ASS perfectly round tree which is ON FIRE and rolling FASTER THAN I CAN DODGE just fucking obliterates me.
How did a tree catch fire? Why was it rolling down the hill? Who in their right mind would expect a flaming ninja tree attack? Fuck sake. Get noita'd scrub 😭

20:22 For what it's worth, I've shifted with fungus pouch in hand exactly once, and water turned into fungus. Didn't think anything of it, pouches seem the same than flasks to me

What is the magic button behind Dunk.
I can't figure out why you didn't take Gas Blood at the start. Of all the "blood" perks and all the oddified immunities, it's basically the only one that's strictly better than both, since it gives Toxic Immunity and also makes it so that you don't bleed at all. Unless you were hoping to save it for if you got a different "blood" perk to overwrite the other one, but that seems a bit presumptive.
i didnt know it had toxic immunity, but it doesnt have fire immunity so if u bleed near fire its easy for the fire to catch you up
@@charliegamer6354 Technically, yes. But the times where that would be a practical problem are pretty damn limited unless you're being stupid or careless or would otherwise be lit on fire anyways. Meanwhile, it makes you immune to the possibility of your own blood getting you electrocuted or ruining your invis/stainless armor if you should find one of those perks.
@@charliegamer6354 fire isn't really much of a problem when you have water.
It makes your player floatier making it more difficult to duck out of the way of attacks
@@Ghorda9 It is in nightmare mode. Fire does more damage, so being on fire for a split second can, over time, be devastating. And when you’re already more vulnerabile, you do not want ANY perks that take control away from you.

how do you modify wands? I can not do it during gameplay, only after teleport.
He had ‘tinker with wands everywhere’ active, which lets you edit Wanda wherever you like. Without it you can only edit them in the Holy Mountains

Nightmare mode starts you with those! Try loading up a nightmare run and you will have them too

Does anyone know if this is ported to Xbox? This game is amazing! I do not own a PC. I would actually surprised if it would run on console because of the complexity of it. This would be a great way to get my gaming fix when I need a break from completing all of the hard mode post it notes in Isaac. Perhaps it's time to invest in a good gaming laptop.
I dont think its ported to any console unfortunately. The devs themselves said that it is totally possible for them to do so but they are a very small team and it would be a huge undertaking for them so they would rather focus on adding more content to the pc version:(

What's different in Nightmare Mode?
you start with tinker with wands everywhere, 3 random perks and 3 random wands, wands can spawn in clumps, enemies have more health depending on the biome, they attack faster and deal more damage, and enemies can have perks
why it says it needs to restart as mods detected? so you modded it? so it is not count....
This is called nightmare mode. This mode unlocks once you have gotten a win in Noita. It’s not a regular mod that you turn on through your mod folder, it’s a game mode selected from the main screen.
