I'd make Super Cat the top flight class in the US - let's face it they're class 1 boats in any other country. Spectacular - and the fans want to see large fields of racers, not so much a race with three/four/five boats.
I'm definitely not a fan of drawing cards for qualifying. I understand it helps keep costs down, which I can appreciate. Are there other race series that qualify like that?
My uncle use to race his name was Dick Riddle, Way back then all you could see was the start that's great you can see more now that's a big deal for the fans totally awesome My uncle took me in the cigarette we would ride the waves and pump the throttle open air back then

A couple other classes do the same thing. Pro Class 1 does have qualifying
