This is the forty fourth episode of Yugioh Master Duel Masochist: a challenge that forces master duel to be played with the least amount of master packs possible. This is by far the most difficult way to play yugioh master duel. This is like the pokemon nuzlock of yugioh. All credit goes to Cimo for inventing this.
Consider summoning time theif in the emz when you have access to tiamaton to turn him on more often, or in front of one to them. So if your opponent uses the emz it will be easier to use.

While you control a mikanko monster, it comes up, I did some dumb shit with 60 card Paleo stun where I stole the same way, that's how I learned aswell, by playing
Watching that Swordsoul player throw away everything they had physically hurt me.. but everyone has to start somewhere!
In that Mikanko game you got time thief back because the "steal" equip spell requires them to control a Mikanko monster btw.
People with 14 card EX still have D.D. Dynamite traumas
I like that there is even more Pokémon Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald music in the background now. It makes the duels much more chill.
Right now your deck is easily Diamond 5 material, you even beat Mikanko and Snake Eyes which is amazing. The biggest problem however is that Diamond is ruthless and I don't see how's this challenge ever passing Diamond rank without generic hand traps called by and crossout.
Theres also the issue of consistency. His deck has incredible highs and solid strategy but the problem of ultimate match to match has only ever been solved in decks that are purely reliant on the extra deck.. which his deck has begun to use but its still rough.
Honestly though if he just draes a couple more broken lines, solemns, floodgates and stuff like duster and raigeki it would already make a much easier diamond climb. Dark hole even.
Ultimately it comes down to prayer for luck and rngesus mercy
He's gonna need constructed at some point, probably plat 2 or 1, and even then this format is wild, and best of one so there's not a sure thing besides constructed, the point has been met by that point anyways, for me this is a nice escape for a couple hours, so cheers to Lord Trent and his patience ❤
The Mikanko player misplayed horribly, he had ftk assuming he actually just normal summoned instead of stealing
I'm convinced that Konami has programmed the algorithm to make sure you get all of your one ofs and outs when you are a paid player. The more you pay, the more likely you are to draw cracked.
I'm not saying degenerate circuit is usually good, but it is an anti-lab card or a card you could use if you were playing penguins or something.

I am fairly new to master duel and because of watching this masochist challenge I never activate cards in columns that are occupied in fear of tiamaton or broken line lol
Can I suggest something? If you, somehow, obtain more than 3 copies of a card, how about you can dismantle any extras and craft a card of your choice with those materials? It's incredibly unlikely, but I feel like if it does happen it would be OK.
The reason they aren’t in plat 3 is simply beacuse they lack handtraps. 2 of my accounts are hard stuck plat 3 because I didn’t bring 3 ash 3 maxx c 2 called by 1 cross out and 3 imperm

They could just be like me and play 2 games a day to get their dailys so they never rank up fast.
I second this, some people just don't play ranked enough to move up the ladder. I just barely moved into diamond for this month yesterday. I don't usually play tip top tier decks, but I have an okay time. I just don't play more than a few games a day usually, and stay in the events when they're running
I'm fairly sure the 14 card extra deck comes from a time where people started doing it to mitigate the d.d dynamite OTK.

The number of times someone else is the protagonist in masterduel really makes me feel like it’s rigged lol
They fact of the matter is they are not lucky by themselves. They're lucky because they're playing you.
Degenerate Circuit is very anti Labyrinth. I would run it in this build solely for that purpose as that is a deck that you almost always auto lose to.
You call yourself the villain for playing floodgates and barrier statues, well I pulled Kragen and a decent enough water r4nk engine. Kinda funny how I've been hyping you up for the fire deck and now I'm playing waters.
I got a r4nk water engine too for my masochist deck. Best thing is I pulled both 1 copy of Stealth Kragen and Kragen spawn from the legacy packs.
I run an Ice Barrier Kragen Deck in Master Duel let me know if you need pointers 😁 I've been at it for years so I've worked out all the quirks of water monsters lmfaoo
Grave of the Super Ancient Organism > Ferret Flames, free lvl 6 or higher skill drain + battle negation
You do have some lvl 4 sharks that make make rank 5 xyz so abyss splash is usable tbh, prob not worthwhile tho
You could change sleeves and icon to diabellestar, maybe more players will surrender
