When George Lucas ran Star Wars he started off with nothing, and turned it into a media giant. While it was political in some ways, it was political in a good way to immerse the audience into the world it presented to us. It told us a story of how a world once ruled by Democracy and corruption, became the very evil Empire it was today. Unfortunately Disney destroyed this work of art and turned it into a retconned woke piece of trash. It’s literally retconned itself into oblivion to the point that most of the stuff in this universe makes no sense anymore. Jedi Fallen Order, Mando, Rogue One, Rebels, and Bad Batch are okay. They feel like something out of the old EU- when they work. For example Mando for me ended at S2 with Luke Skywalker’s awesome introduction. Bad Batch ended on a good note with the Clone Rebellion and beginning of the Rebel Alliance. Rogue One is nice, but it takes the cred from the old EU. Everyone knows Kyle Katarn stole those plans, not a rag tag group of random rebels who basically become canon fodder at the end. I don’t hate Rogue One, but to me it feels more like part of the story told about the Death Star Plans. Jyn and her rebel cell stole only part of the plans. Rebels ended on a wonderful note with the end of Return of the Jedi. Ahsoka became a Grey Jedi, worthy of her Master’s approval. Sabine went on to lead her people against the remaining Imperial remnants alongside Mando. Jedi Fallen Order is pretty fun and worth of fitting into the same timeline as The Force Unleashed. Cal and Starkiller would make an epic duo. Light and Dark eradication anything in their path. Nuff said.
star wars wasn't political - it had star wars politics now that disney has ruined everything and the only way to fix it is to eradicate everything disney has done it has all kinds of wrong politics woke droids claiming to be oppressed being cherry on top fuck if this is a cherry and the rest is the cake then it's no wonder people don't want to join this party
The Force Awakens was inherently a bad premise because they basically said "Yeah that whole prophecy with Anakin was meaningless. Him bringing balance to The Force lasted less than 30 years. Same goes for everything Han, Luke, and Leia did. Empire's back, they had no reason to celebrate at the end of Episode 6."
I enjoyed both original and prequels trilogies. Without George Lucas Star Wars is like Titanic especially now with Kathleen Kennedy. Rogue one was very good but that's it
Without George Lucas, Robert Zemeckis, and Steven Spielberg, she looks mediocre at best. The fact that under her leadership, they admitted to having no plan for the sequel Trilogy with her experience speaks volumes about her competency. She announced multiple projects with multiple project leaders just to fire them also showcases her incompetence. Also, the fact that people consider The Force Awakens a good film baffles me. It's nothing but a rehash of A New Hope. Then there is the Acolyte 🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮. But to say any of this will get you put in with the right.
I disliked the sequels. The first one was almost palatable but rehashing older, better movies was stupid. I'm good with no more Star wars. Kathy is a good producer but she's not a creative person.

I'm 💯% done with Disney star wars. Until Disney retcons and nukes literally everything they've done, to include rouge one, and even then, it's a distant maybe...and even mark Hamill has turned me against his Luke. So, I'm finished with this stupid nonsence
Star Wars has not become irrelevant. The franchise is in horrible shape. LucasFilm has probably lost nearly as much money as it has earned in the Disney era if we include the Indiana Jones and Willow failures. However, that doesn't mean the franchise is irrelevant. That's not what irrelevant means. The fact that your video and several dozen of videos about Star Wars get posted daily across all social media platforms are a testament to Star Wars being relevant. PS: I just happened to watch this video the day after the passing of James Earl Jones. There is a tsunami of Star Wars tributes being shared as I type this message.
If I were to fix Star Wars here’s what I would do, make a brand new family saga , not a reboot of the Skywalker saga but focusing on a new family in a new era, like I’m saying set it 900 years after rise of skywalker with a blank slate, still have Easter eggs to the past but make it so new and old fans can enjoy it
Time to rediscover the EU. Disney is still reprinting Legends material. If we can get people buying that again, Disney may follow the money. Part of the problem was they already hit a reboot button. But a pause and focus on quality over quantity is needed. TFA did some things right, but it had massive problems.
I knew Star Wars was dead on December 15, 2017. I saw Star Wars: The Last Jedi in the theatre on opening day, and I was absolutely disgusted at what I had just witnessed. At that point in time, I thought The Last Jedi was rock bottom, but I was wrong as not only did Solo fail to impress me in 2018 (the movie wasn't bad, it was just mid tbh), but then The Rise Of Skywalker came out in 2019, and confirmed what I had come to a conclusion about in 2017: Star Wars is dead. And so the only things from the Disney era I still consider canon are Rogue One, Solo, and maybe Obi-Wan Kenobi provided they leave the show at only one season as it is perfect as is. The rest of it I can live without, and happily say that Return Of The Jedi will forever and always be the end of the Star Wars saga. The best thing to do with Star Wars in my opinion would be to fully retcon and remake the sequel trilogy and then begin planning a fourth trilogy centered around the death of the force users, rather than the return of the force users. This would be the perfect way to finally bring balance to the force because George Lucas himself introduced the idea of balancing the force by destroying all force users all the way back in 1983 when the original trilogy concluded with the death of Palpatine. I know Disney isn't gonna do it though because Disney sucks for the most part.

Star Wars might as well just be a retired IP and never to be touched again(just like Indiana Jones). I wish G.L. had sold his studio to 'Universal Studios' instead!
If they reset star wars that just going to give them free pass to do the same crap they are doing now. Because if they reset it then there is no lore to follow and they will say the fans can't complain because this is our story and not George. A New Star Wars Universe is just going to be the Acolyte on Steroids
Very good video, but I recommend you invest in a new mic in the future if you wish to continue creating more content like this. It will greatly increase viewing quality.
They need to use the World Between Worlds and stop Luke from trying to kill Kylo and sleep and show him the way to Exegol to kill Palpatine and prevent the stupid ass Sequels from ever happening and we could get the superior expanded universe timeline to where we see Mara Jade and Luke’s son Ben Skywalker and the new Jedi Order and new Jedi characters Kyle Katarn and Jaden Korr
The Star Wars community and media is very similar to the Star Wars Galaxy in a lot of ways. During the time of the Prequel Trilogy the people who hated on the Star Wars Prequels were much like the Confederacy of Independent Systems (The Separatists,) from the Prequels, and Lucasfilm and its fans were like the Galactic Republic. Now Lucasfilm, Disney, and it's defenders have become like the Galactic Empire, while its haters and people who criticize it are like the Alliance to Restore the Republic (The Rebel Alliance.)
The sequel trilogy should be removed from canon along with any other series' which have been terribly written. Even Harrison Ford had stated during filming of the sequels that the old characters' stories had already been told. Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, and Lando are the original trilogy. Anakin, Obi-wan, Padmé, Ahsoka, and Rex are the prequel trilogy/Clone Wars. The sequels are pretty much a recreation of the og trilogy. I respect your opinions on the new characters. However they are all problematic. Rey is a Mary Sue. Kylo Ren is a wannabe crybaby, and Finn was done dirty by having been used as comic relief and being sent on pointless quests for the most part. Personally I'm with the idea of Finn having become the Jedi instead of Rey. The concept of a stormtrooper being Force sensitive could have made for a great new story. Then there's the "I'm the spy" cringe and of course, "Somehow Palpatine returned" nonsense which has become a huge meme on Disney's and LucasFilm's lack of consistency. Even the way Oscar Isaac says it seems like he had some disdain for the idea. Then we have the og characters being killled off just because, which is a huge kick in the gronk-nuks. The encounter between Obi-wan and Darth Vader should not have happened because it retcons the scene between the two on the Death Star in 'A New Hope.' That moment is supposed to have been the only time they had seen each other since their duel on Mustafar. The character in the cave in 'The Acolyte' is Darth Plagueis. To put it simply, he was Darth Sidious's master and the one who learned how to manipulate the midichlorians to create life. This is how Anakin came to be despite not having a biological father as Shmi states to Qui-gon. Whether he was created by Plagueis, Palpatine, or the Force itself, I don't know.

People still want good Star Wars. Sadly the Acolyte was not it. The *idea* of a mystery set in High Republic was a good idea. The execution was lazy and aimed to undermine the moral core of the franchise. They need to stop letting the directors write.
