- These are the Top 5 most expensive NTSC Nintendo 64 games. Recently I bought an entire N64 collection, which of course included the most rare and expensive games you can get.

thank the Lord emulation exists
this is all hardware geeks
@@shaiapouf442 more like born suckers.
The Lord has nothing to do with emulation 😃
@@jamethegame found the r/atheism user
Emulating N64 isn't always best way to play, and the games are hard to emulate.
They are only valued as much as someone is willing to pay.
Exactly why the retro gaming market is diseased, because people will actually pay those prices
@@eightbitace1234 I would it’s pretty cool. Owning the original hardware and playing it with friends is dope.
@@toughzack12 Completely agree except when the game is $300+. No videogame is good or rare enough that it should be worth $300.
@@eightbitace1234 some games are quite rare, especially in good condition. what if there are only a few in the world? this is how supply and demand work. there are more people wanting to buy the games than copies available
@@luigi7834its still retarded tho
Madden got me 😂 I seen like 30 at my local game for 2 bucks
Buy every single one of them then go online and sell just the backs of the cartridges for 5 bucks each.
I used to rent clayfighters all the time. I should have kept it
Thats a rare version of the game i believe.
@Jas0nH it's rare cause it was only available as a Blockbuster rental
Same.
Funny thing is most of these games are not worth their price tag lol
DK oldies selling clay fighter for $1600, no joke
Yep
It’s 50 or 60 on Amazon
Crazy I bought it for 20 bucks at a retro game store in our mall
@@kireallking8493the original is not the sculptor’s cut edition
That game sucked tho 🤷♂️
100% of all those games cost me 5-10$ at disc replay less than 9 years ago, thanks for perpetuating the price gouging so that only the rich can afford this hobby.
im not rich bro but i can easily afford these games
absolutely not. 10 years ago, most of these games were around $40-50, with Clayfighter being a little north of $100.
I almost bought super bowling for $40. I think the problem is, nobody was sure how rare some of these were because it was still the point where people were dumping N64 games left and right to thrift stores.
Now 90% of N64 games are likely in the hands of collectors, or people who will never sell. So the odds of finding another Super Bowling are much lower.
Only the people that want to buy games for the value will suffer. If you enjoy gaming and you aren't worried about your games having alot of value there are thousands of great games to play. 95% of most library's except maybe like the neo geo, turbograpx, vectrex, 3d0,etc sega saturn. Are super affordable, like in the 5-10-20 dollar range. The consoles i mentioned don't really have a library worth looking at except maybe the Saturn and turbograpix tho. If video game prices are stopping you from not getting into the hobby then maybe you are just a collector and looking at the value more then the game, some people also need to branch out more. Not all expensive games are good and there are other genres besides horror and rpgs if you can't find any fun in a 95% percent library where the games are affordable to even someone that is working minimum wage then you aren't really in it for the hobby. Maybe it's just value and eye candy on your shelf in your case
@@angrymobsters1599 i buy my games to play, i don't collect for the value, when i was buying gamecube games a few years ago i couldn't buy super mario sunshine because every one i saw was over 100$ and it is the most common gamecube game(its cheaper now and that's good), my point is that even common games have become overpriced for no good reason, that's why i barely if at all collect games anymore, i cant buy them to play on the few select consoles i have.
The best part is going to Ebay and looking at the price trend over the last year. Shit has just kept going down.
“And I have every single one of them”
I have my original n64 system in a heavy insulated case built for it, as well as super smash bros, conkers bad fur day and worms Armageddon. My father has it currently and im picking it up this Sunday (also my birthday) and im super stoked to finally play worms again after like 10 years lol. He plays it too once in a while
bought the bomberman game back when it was 50$ at a pawn shop, i just love seeing it's price go up as it sits in my drawer xD
@@clayton9136 it's k, i don't buy games with the intention to re-sell them, i just love seeing it. 🙂
Mwahahaha
Enjoy the gems man. I have a few N64 games and don't plan on ever selling it along w the games just because I enjoy them so much.
same, i bought some at a fair and they almost doubled in price. wish i had gotten the conker's bad fur day cartridge i saw there as well, oh well.
I don't see how Clay Fighters Sculptors Cut is so expensive when it seems like every collector has one.
And this is why I bought the Everdrive64
Try to sell that you won't get 20 bucks for that
@@tvirus9369the Everdrive is worth the money though cause it gives you access to ROM Hacks and the 64DD Disc Drive content which was region exclusive to Japan 🇯🇵
@@tvirus9369that is kinda the point
@@dexstewart862 the point is to make profit
@@tvirus9369why would he want to sell it?
Clay fighter was one of my favorites for N64. My little brother sold it to a pawn shop 20 years ago. What a nice surprise it was when I went to replace it last year(did not replace it).
Cool video Chase. I like these kind of quick videos as well as the long form you normally make.
Omg I had that clay fighter game.... my parents sold our n64 to a friend of my sisters who proceeded to knock over our mailbox when they left....I cant believe it.
There is a very similar looking one called Clayfighter 63 1/3rd and it’s the more common copy that most people owned. This one is a blockbuster exclusive.
There is no way you had that clayfighter. It was a blockbuster exclusive and by the way your talking about your parents selling your n64, highly doubt they found a way to get you a copy of it. Was not just at a Walmart back in the day
@@itsir2u I don't know I think this one's fairly common. My family still has a transporter DVD that we got from Netflix that we never returned. I think it's fairly common for people to accidentally keep things from rentals, I think it's fair to believe
Should find them and do it back
i had it to it was a good game. I missed the good health days
Man that clay fighter was cold
Dude I had that bowling game! It’s long gone now and I’m pissed!
Man I actually really want to try The Second Attack, I’ve heard it’s a lot of fun.
Its on emulators
@@I_am_a_chicken64 true, but it’s usually nice to have an official copy if possible. However considering how much the game goes for on the second hand market and how Konami treats the series (meaning the legacy content outside of maybe just the NES game since that’s what a lot of people think is the first game) won’t ever be rereleased, I’ll probably just end up emulating it.
@@supercamborg4218 oh ok
Yoooo my grandparents had retro bowling! I actually loved that game haha
Super bowling
It's only worth that price, if someone is willing to pay for it.
To be honest, even though it would be nice to have these in my collection, it's just not worth it .....for me.
Madden 64 is worth it good football game
Your prices garentee you will always have them.
I, i have a super bowling copy…
Super bowling was 300 at my local game store but I’m still now buying it
Crazy. I remember them being cheap growing up. Because they're not really rare to begin with. The only one that is is the sculptures cut.
When he said madden lol I was bout to quit my job lmaoo
You almost gave me a heart attack with Madden 64 because I've been thinking about that gem from my childhood and want to get it again
If only we knew how well it would have paid to not return a game to Blockbuster.
I need that Super Bowling
Bruh my face dropped when you said madden 64 cause i have that one😂😂😂😂😂
Iso roms 💀💀💀
ong 😭
@@neptunewrld tf is Ong 😭
Had that Bomberman game. If only i appreciated the things i had when i was younger and kept them. Makes me sad.
Over here in Uk pal version of Worms Armageddon boxed is like £40 max
It's not even worth £40 with versions for other systems available.
@@richardcastro-parker3704 yeah makes me laugh seeing how expensive some n64 games are in the US compared to Pal versions
Worms games are so fun
you can buy the new warm with more things and better graphics for 10 dollars lol
@@skullmask5740and this can be said for every game series on older consoles. Looks like you're missing the reasons why old games are valued that way
@@lucdubois3927 bro the was 1 years ago weird you answer to some comment the old lmao
@@skullmask5740 you're new here or what? People often reply many years later and the conversation continues. New comments about videos posted 15 years ago are still made today and people reply to old comments all the time 🙄
@@lucdubois3927 You sound alone and want to talk to someone i hope you having a good day :)
Me literally being able to emulate this games on my phone: hmm , interesting
Also if anyone tells you stunt racer was blockbuster exclusive thats untrue. I got it from a local owned video store i used to rent it from.
i remember playing the first and last ones as a kid. can't believe they are worth that much.
I own two of those 5 expensive N64 games. Bomberman 64: The second Attack and Super Bowling 64!
Bro stunt racer is the one game im fascinated about, just from its spike in value. That was a $100 game, if even 5-10 years ago. Im suprised its now $350+ loose
I got that bomberman game with a box of n64 games and console for 20 bucks at my neighbors garage sell they were some of my favorite neighbors
I still think paper mario is the G.O.A.T
I second that 🔥🔥🔥🔥
So like worms armageddon is worth like £10 in the uk, unless it's a different game under the same name
I feel bad for whoever didn't grab Second Attack on release because it's legitimately one of the best games for the system.
I had that clayfighter I don’t know what happened to it but that was like 16 years ago. If I only knew.
Im deadass going back to a retro store i visited yesterday it had the snowman game with box for like 280
Super 64 and Everdrive 64: *Allow me to introduce myself*
I just picked up Super Bowling for 9 bucks at my local thrift.
used to have clay fighter sculptors cut. My older brother had a bad habit of letting friends "borrow" N64 games only to never see them again. He lost literally all my good games lol.
I’ll never forgive myself for not buying sculptors cut last year at my local vintage game store here in San Diego for $850 , it was such a clean copy too, I cringe when I think about it
Do you know how many people almost shit their pants when you said Madden 64?😂
I got my Super Bowling with the manual at Half Price book for $49.99
My lord. I used to own clayfighters. I never found out what happened to my old n64 stuff.
Wish i would have known to hold on to my games as an 8 year old kid until now.
Still remember getting NBA hangtime for $4 AUD… Good times
I am so thankful worms Armageddon is worth significantly less here in the uk, I love that game.
Dang... and all them times I passed up getting a Madden game and made bank on it later.😂
I bought super 64 with 340 games almost the full n64 library for 60$
Just got clay fighter for 4 bucks at a yard sale and i have 2 copies of super bowling and never knew
And because I watched your video im throwing in a like
Those are actually worth $250.
Oh dude, you got me… I was like “Madden?, wtf”…good one
I have second attack. Trying to get the other ones
I actually have clay fighters somewhere at my moms house, huh good to know
Crazy how a fuckin piece of plastic costs this much
What Worms increased to $300? I still own mine with package and manual in perfect condition. The new price was something $60 back then.
Madden 64 was a good game though
How many of these games I wanna play bad enough to spend the money?
None of them. Not one.
I only have sculptor's cut. Paid 15. Back then I never dreamed it would be worth this much now. (or else I woulda kept the box and instructions 😂)
That clayfighters can't be worth that much I picked it up from a retro store a few weeks ago for 25 and yes its the sculpture cut
Yes its that much
These were those preplayed games at blockbuster for $10 that no one wanted.
Starting to think i shouldn't have returned clay fighter to block buster
Sounds like Dkoldies prices 😂
Wish I could go back in time and keep my collection….I regret selling it 😭 had all of these cartridges plus other rares and sold them for only 1.5k ☹️
Jesus if I kept all my old Nintendo stuff I'd be rich
You didn't have any of these games
Like you had any of these!
@@matthewhunt-foley9788 cuh u know how old I am
@Emo Bassist no you goof! Because they're rare for a reason. They're short print, and hardly anyone had them. But ketchup me guess, you had them all right?! Fool!
@@matthewhunt-foley9788 so were they really that rare in 98 or 99 I actually did have a copy of clayfighter
Damn… gotta go dig out clay fighters 😂😂
maybe in box with manual in very good condition
Only collect retail when you avoid every one of these but I am a sucker for the chase😂
I found Super Bowling on N64 online for like $20?....
Hey now my copy of Madden 64 has blockbuster old stickers on it 😎
I think the most expensive is Golf 64 for 64 DD because its like 6-9k usd :з also nice state of your cartdridges!!!
I saw the bomber man on a ROM website and super bowling on a N64 emulator app
Daedalus x64 im about to end this mans whole career
Goemons grand adventure. 350$+
Clayfighter CIB can go for up to 10k
Bro half those faves worth most 20 bucks 😊
I remember renting stunt racer
Wish I come across one of these gems at the flea market
It'll be 10 percent off online market price 😅
you forgot how rare and expensive Castlevania legacy of darkness is only 130,000 made
I have that clay fighter game but my dad put sharpie writing all over it 😢😢😢
Sweet, I have a copy of Worms Armageddon in the attic somewhere. 🤑
Hehe I had that Madden N64 game, remember it wasn’t supported by the players association. If I’m not mistaken I believe you couldn’t see the players name.
dude th at last one almost gav eme a heart attack.....madden, christ.....
It’s always a different five for every UA-camr for some reason 🤔
I like how you said wat games they were and howuch each one is worth.
O remember when blockbuster was packed with those games
Lukie games was trying to sell stunt racer for over $1,000. 😅
man i had the original clay fighter on n64 sold it way back
Average dk oldies prices
I had a copy of stunt racer 64 with the blockbuster sticker still on the back i kept for literally 15 years. My dumb*ss sold it in 2018 for $200. Wish id of kept it.
