Maple: “Wooo POV I’m the meth tube”
This is where the show rotates
This is the moment Breaking Bad became rotated
It becomes acute instead of obtuse
Guys, it implodes upon itself and becomes a memetic void
Honestly i think the turning point in the show is when skyler cheats on walt with jesse and then gets pregnant. Thats the point of no return in my opinion.
ssh, dont spoil!
That was really hot scene
Jesse did love himself some milfs!
18:50 David Costabile, who played Gale, was around 44 during his time on Breaking Bad.
That scene of Jesse is probably one of the greatest scenes of his character because it’s literally Jesse confessing his sins and the guilt that he feels Jesse is a good guy, but he is just trapped in a business that literally involves evil people
I hear you, and he’s definitely capable of being a good person, but he’s not. All we are is what we do.
Making bad choices & then feeling bad about them doesn’t make it ok
Peter Gould sure knows how to write a character's confession... cough
This whole episode connects SO well with some of the events that take place in season 5, scary awesome
He's a drug dealer and a murderer. He's not a good guy. He just has a guilty conscience. He's surrounded by worse guys. Doesn't make him a "good guy."
@@bigpictureguys8415Sounds like a Bojack quote.
This isn't really the turning point of the whole show imo
the point has turned before... it may turn again...
This is the point in which the DEA are onto them
IMO the turning point is in the bathroom. Tryin’ to be vague for the ladies’ sake, iykyk
Happens a bit later, around 3x05 of Better Call Saul is when Breaking Bad becomes The Sopranos I think.
Oh no there’s definitely a moment this season… 😁 It’s THE moment
The actor portraying Gale was 43 at the time his episodes aired.
I did the research too just to realize that one hour ago you...😢
it is just bad genes, just look for example at Hank actor, he looks like that his whole career, acted in for example Starship Troppers, and was very young there - looked almost like in BB :D
@@Sig509Actually insane that Dean Norris was younger than Gale's actor
This is Turning Point: The Show
7:27 Dig a hole and bury it? Who would do such a thing...
So this is how the turntables...
Flip?
Vravo Bince
The thing about Hank getting enough evidence to put Gus behind bars is...
Gus is prepared enough to have an escape plan.
Gus is not the sort of fellow to leave any loose ends behind. Like Walt. Especially if it's Walt's brother in law that catches him.
Maple has quite an imagination when it comes to hiding things. Tape it under his wee wee? 😂
This video was hilariously released amongst the news of Kristi Noem's poor Cricket.
Isn’t that news a couple weeks old by now?
Jesse showing he actually has a conscience, where Walter does not. We can talk about acceptance all day, but when it comes to killing somebody, it’s a different ball game from your standard addiction speech.
This might be the turning point of the whole show imo
You know my favorite thing about Gus? He doesn't resent serving their food, or getting their drinks. Even as the "Owner". He enjoys it. The maintenance of the image he's created. That just makes for a fascinating character.
It's probably the only time he gets to let go of the scary mob boss face and get to actually act normal, like a regular human being
@@Maxisamo1 I think its more the reverse; jovial, "normal" Gus is the mask. It just happens to be a mask he enjoys wearing. Where, Walt's ego trip is in the recognition, he CAN'T STAND not getting credit. Gus' is in the hiding, his ego trip is actually wearing the mask, NOT getting recognition, because he's fooling everyone.
But that's my own interpretation, not trying to invalidate yours at all.
Arianna was so right - you don't call a meeting with the higher ups without having the answer to their 'doubt' questioning
Also it's hilarious how much showmanship Hank is enjoying putting into that speech. He knows just how much he's stretching their patience right before he throws in his trump card. That way next time they think he's off the rails, they'll think twice about it :)
The video game Jessie is playing is Rage, made by IdSoftware, the same guys who created Doom.
Saul really does work his magic lol
Jesse’s Steve Aoki shirt is kinda nice
Dont worry one of you constantly talking about off topic stuff isn't annoying
And that's why Hank is my favorite character.
This is the whole show of the turning point imo
This is the point whole of the show turning imo
This is the turning point of the comments.
Why does someone post this exact comment in every episode? 😭
this whole point is the imo show of the turning
this is the point where you all should be dropping the unfunny jokes that have been going around for years now.
Gale’s actor was 44 when season 4 came out 💀 but I know some ppl that look old as hell. I know some people my age 24 that look 34
I'm glad I'm the exact reverse, though it means whenever I hang out with people your age they just assume I'm also around 24 until I accidentally out myself if the conversation starts to be about things that relate to age at a specific time, or the time at a specific age.
11:25 i love the concept of chickens so amazingly delicious they need armed guards to protect them 24/7
This think was I point of show turning the whole
Aaron Paul is such a good actor and yet was never trained he just threw himself into acting because he wanted to be an actor he did a lot of commercials he played side people in teen movies and a couple of horror movies he was on an episode of the X-Files then he had a lead role in a movie called daydreamer then a year later he gets this role as Jesse and it changed his life and he pretty much grew up on this show.
I remember him as a suspect in criminal minds. I'm pretty sure its the episode called The Popular Kids in season one. It had to do with a murder abduction via cult.
@@FluorescentPhnix1 Yes he was in Criminal minds and an episode of Bones and the X-Files and some other shows I can't remember the name of lol
The turning point of the show is coming up
Just a friendly reminder that Aaron Paul (jesse) had no formal training as an actor before doing this show.
EDIT: So people are clear, I said he had no FORMAL TRAINING, not "no prior experience." Yes, he was in stuff before Breaking Bad. What I meant is he didn't need to take classes on acting.
Not sure about formal training, but he moved to LA as a teenager to pursue acting as a career almost ten years before BB, and his IMDb page shows that he was being cast in TV shows and movies almost from the beginning. He had small parts in a variety of TV shows over that time, starting with 90210 and Melrose Place in 1999, not huge but significant roles in movies like K-PAX and Mission Impossible III. The year before BB he was a regular on the HBO series Big Love. He's not a guy who just walked in off the street and was cast...
@@jrepka01 He was also the star of the music video for Thoughtless by KoRn.
He was on ER and hilariously on Price is Right
@@ootfan5 Holyyyyyy, I never noticed that, though I probably only ever saw that video a couple times. That's awesome. I wonder if that was a factor in casting him. "Dude can sure get the shit kicked out of him, let's give him a ring!" - Vince Gilligan possibly...? 😆
@@viper2785 Considering how bad Jesse gets abused in season 1 maybe it was lol
"You gotta guard the mother Hen" the inflection and the line will stick with me for weeks possibly months
Her symbolism could not be more blatant, Gus is the Hen and we must all incubate under his magnificence. Come up with a dark horse theory next time!
Seasons 4 and 5 of this show are thee most heavily intense and heavily stressul seasons of any show I have ever watched in my whole life
If you look at the subtitles why does every contraction use a quotation mark instead of apostrophes? What a funny little mistake.
Ugh, those mismatched double apostrophes in the captions are killing me. KILLING ME. 😆🤓
This is the Ross pivot point of the show
okay this one got me ❤
I just looked up David Costabile (the actor for Gale Boetticher), and he was on the show from 2010-2011 during which time he would've been 43-44 so yeah, casting was generous with that one.
3:20- Open na door! Open na door!
If you know, then you know.
No wait THIS is where shit gets real. The true turning point
Wait yoy might be on to something
Wait till you get to the final episode of the final season, really a turning point in the show
"he's raising those to be turned into chickens" ?? lmao
Was this the turning point of the show?
Not yet, it happens in season 5 episode 17
@@cheappoetry2798 Best episode of the show. Completely unpredictable. Didn't see it coming.
@@jxchambCinematic masterpiece 👌🏽
@@jxchamb I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it
@@cheappoetry2798 I agree. Until that episode, the series is a huge waste of time. That's the episode where it finally pays off.
Tape pull off a weezer... pass. Especially tap sticky enough to stay.
I’d say Jane’s death is the turning point for the series. That’s when it all starts getting more than serious. It gets really dark around than.
Man Walt was making insane money . Mike was right “ we had a good thing going , it all ran like clockwork” smh
It's not a crack house, it's a meth home!
I love hank being good at his job
Inarguably, this is the halfway point of the whole season!
That opening scene with Jesse playing the video game is unreal
It’s unreal because he’s not using a controller and that pistol/gadget doesn’t exist
This is when the egg became the chicken
Wow what a turning point of the show
@11:32 "No Chick-fil-a sauce??? 😳" vibes. Lol
that's what iiii was thinking! :D
I’m dead 💀
This episode is the moment where Phil served 20 years… wait.
Maple your hair looks amazing!
The last few episodes of season 4 go down as some of the greatest of the entire series. I can't wait for you to get to the finale. Enjoy.
17:47 Jesse fundamentally not understanding the concept of acceptance makes sense given where his character is at this point in the show.
That scene used to annoy me but the more time I get in recovery the more familiar that rant sounded, especially coming from a newcomer.
It’s different when accepting something a little bad someone did cause of being high, verses killing a person… that’s unacceptable and something people live with for life.
Acceptance has its place, and if it wasn’t about Gail I might agree, but I think Jesse was actually striking a deeper chord there.
Yall have to react to snowfall! Y’all will love it!❤
9:10 lol I've done that with weed joints at festivals
Maple you look incredible in this video. Maybe smt in your hair or new shadow eye, but I really loved it
Jessies t shirt is interesting, a blind jesus it looks like to me. I like the subtle metaphors they place in the scenes. An episode where Jessie is feeling shame about his sins being unseen while wearing a t shirt depicting a blind jesus.
If you're trolling you got me, if you're not, that's a Steve Aoki shirt. He had a music video with Machine Gun Kelly for "Free the Madness" that referenced Breaking Bad.
Point has been turned 😯
Judging repeats the cycle.
7:21 wow
11:32 a lemonade alright… no cage free aaiggs??? 😲Not organic??😲
Love you both
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of Breaking Bad!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Show point turn this
Walter is ALWAYS trying to manipulate Jesse. We’ve seen it since the 1st episode and EVERY episode after that. #justice4jesse
kid named turning point
I love this show
bro maple believe gale passed for 34 wtf
Remember how much we all hated Hank when the show first started?
show turns
🤯Hank🤯
Sometimes i feel like they aren’t really listening to what walter because they just love to bash on him for everything, evem when he is right. Like when walter was saying “does gus really think u are that naive” and then Arianna says “you do” to walter when walter is absolutely right that gus thinks that, which is why he has been pairing him with mike, staging a fake robbery to make him feel more important.
Tape ... tape should never go near there 😳🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕
❤❤❤
Yall forget, mid 30s is considered middle age
Why does Jesse’s video game gun have recoil?
The guns in time crisis had recoil.
Walt can be so dumb, I mean how does he think a car wash can launder so much money? They'd be the most successful car wash in the USA over night... 😂 Servicing 1 car every minute for 24 hours a day.
It doesn’t need to wash all the money, it only needs to wash enough to make their lifestyle not attract attention.
Gas and grocery money for life.... I'd take gas and grocery money for life
Less than an hour into the reaction being posted & there’s already six people making the same joke. 🤦🏼♂️
waah
But you gotta understand, it's the purning toint of the shole hoe.
plebs
I got to say something, NO ONE in the entire Hispanic world speaks Spanish like that! not a native one at least, that's such a robotic extremely forced way to speak Spanish I've ever heard, plus the words they choose, not even closed, that's just an extremely odd way to speak Spanish, even spoken correctly, and these guys are criminals, it is like a North American just passed level 1 in Spanish course, sounds like that lol, that's the only flaw I see in the entire show, and it is so funny, even that looks good because of how funny it is, I'm saying this as a Spanish Native speaker
Me whole show point turn.
