I have owned four different Globe cruisers and I have zero complaints about them. I cant speak on Globe popsicle boards, but the quality of the cruisers I have owned has been excellent. Good bushings, bearings, wheels and deck out of the box. I usually go with other brands for popsicle boards, such as Heroin, Santa Cruz, Powell Peralta and Anti Hero. I'd highly recommend Globe as a cruiser or longboard if you cannot afford an Arbor or Loaded brand. You wont be disappointed. I don't feel Globe gets enough credit for their boards and shoes.
yes they are good boards. under the dwindle umbrella (almost, enjoi, darkstar, madness, blind) and pressed by dsm(china) who does all the aforementioned brands as well as creature/santa cruz and others. it doesn't look steep, but they do have other molds
I’m so used to skating mellow to flat boards that’s these felt so steep. But after kinda skating it for a bit it feels like it’s kind of mellowed out or I just got used to it😂
@@kylemaglinte my buddy likes flat boards, swears by mini logo. if his boards are too steep, he parks a car on them upside down overnight or so. sounds crazy, but he isn't the first i've heard say that. idk if i could ever do it. you could also try redrilling the truck holes, it won't change the tail angle but can give you more "fingers of flat" and give you a quicker/lighter snap
@@kylemaglintei like the almost/dwindle, medium kick/concave. or deluxe board stamped III or IV(bottom of the stack in the press). santa cruz are steeper than i prefer but i still ride them. i'm not super particular about gear/setups, i have preferences for sure but i like to try different stuff or different setups for different skating/obstacles
Preciate the review dawg, God Bless.
good call on how stiff boards don't absorb energy and can wear you out. i have an Almost Impact setup as my extra setup, it's very stiff and it's kinda weird, it feels a little "dead" but it does pop fine, hard to pinpoint why it feels different. i don't mind skating it at all but i just much prefer my plain old FA. i think FA is slightly on the steep side but i got used to it and like it
32" is pretty standard for an 8.25"
That’s wild!! I always thought it 32 was above 8.25
@@kylemaglintei didn't measure any of my complete setups and one of my spare decks didn't have dimensions but it's about 9.25x32.25
i like stiff boards, but i'm 6'3, 225
I just ordered this complete in 8.75 (I'm 6'6" and 250lbs) do you have this SB? If so how are you finding it?
Cheers
@@Killadey by 'this one' you mean the globe one in the video but in 8.75"?
@@diplenski I think I might have somehow commented on the wrong video, I don't remember even watching this, I'm so confused lol. Sorry about that.
@@Killadey no worries 😆
i hear mini logo are nice and flat boards, super inexpensive
