Tori has more control over her voice, giving that Demi has a wider chest/belt range, Tori was able to match the mix with belt to create a wonderful controled sound.
I’ve literally never heard a bad performance from Tori. She has the consistency.
Also I feel like the riffs come from her soul/gospel musical roots. I think it’s a personal taste if riffs aren’t your thing based on the music you grow up around 🤗

Tori wins. Better on low notes, more Agility, Flexibility, Technically better and have more Control in the voice. I love Demi lovato, nobody can say that she isnt an amazing singer .. But in general Tori wins.

@@nerocov agreed. Demis got more of what I call "stank." It's that thing that compels you to make a guttural sound in the middle of a performance because you felt what you just heard. Tori's technically better and a more well rounded vocalist, but demi's growls, scratches, rasps, and belts make me feel more.
as a stan of both women, tori wins hands down. i would say she’s the vocalist of the generation and her vocal technique is one of the very best. her lows are so full and amazing for a soprano, her belts are great, falsetto/head voice is AMAZING. agility we already know whew. she’s very well rounded.
for me, demi’s strength are her mid belts. the power that she has is insane and the thing about demi is her ability to emote, i don’t really see other singers this generation that can portray the emotions like she can, you can really FEEL it. i just wish she would learn more about dynamics and that you don’t need to belt so much (but i know that’s her signature as well). i love that she has shown improvement nowadays also her high belts seem so easy for her now. also glad that she seems to know her limits in her agility too and not overdo it

kinda biased since 2020 was demi’s retirement year and she only had 1 concert and a few opportunities to sing, but i love tori so much and she’s so underrated

Demi really shouldve performed more in 2020, these definitely aren't her best clips but it's alright since even after the overdose she can hold her own. You're definitely right about the emotional side, Demi definitely feels more emotive in her belts.
Demi tone way more unique plus she adds emotions like no other compare to her peers tori not so much .Tori is amazing but she doesn’t stand out vocally unlike Demi who always stands out with her voice that alone makes her superior . I respectfully wouldn't agree with you there...I think Tori definitely stands out vocally. The Oceans cover she did with Infinity Song was packed with emotion (one example), that riff/run at 1:05 - 1:08 just ufff if that doesn't give you goosebumps I don't know what does.
Tori has a whole gospel that she won two Grammys for. She is super soulful😁. Psalm 42 is my favorite, but if you want something super soulful you should here her song “Never Alone” with Kirk Franklin!

Tori 100% hands down before I even watch. Agility, Range, Control, and Versatility. Demi has a power that is impressive but alot of times it gets away from her.

Big no, she can't sing soulfully and with so much emotion, she can't sing big and so heavy while Demi can sing so heavy and light as an angel tone and can sing almost all genre with emotions on every single lyric. Demi's belts are so much more better, Tori's belts above D5 are extremely strained which Demi doesn't have a problem

Demi is the most amazing vocalist that came from Disney channel! My god her voice is beautiful. She has such a wide range hitting those low and high notes with such a power a great mix voice and her runs! I love deeper stronger voices like hers. Tori is my absolutely fav, she is ridiculously consistent and can do it ALL. I personally don’t like Demi’s tone so I don’t listen to her much, her belting is definitely impressive but she seems like she struggles with pitch and agility.

Tori Kelly has way more control than Demi! But Demi has the emotion! Demi is incredible and she makes us believe in every single word she sings! By the way, I had quit the opposite feeling... To me, at the end of the video, Demi’s voice was starting to get a little bit annoying because she seems to be “screaming” all the time... when you watch only specifics clips, you can get tired. But both are amazing and they are my favorite by far!

I love Demi, she has potential and her range is amazing. But Tory has a better breath control, she controls every register perfectly. Her creativity and her ability are just insane. Both are amazing singers/vocalist and I love them. They have two different styles in their voices. Tori you have technique and smooth falsetto. With Demi you have emotion and powerful belts that are out this world.
There are both such amazing vocalists, but let’s be honest. The only reason why the scores were so close was because of Demi’s emotions
Tori might have one of the best voices and vocal technique of any new pop starts but Demi is much more emotive and also has more relatable songs.

Tori’s only weak point is her higher belting range (Eb5-Bb5), which can get shouty, strained and whiny at times. Still, she has some incredible ease and flexibility up there.
And still, Demi is no better at that range either, they may have more a bit more ease and protection, but they lack finesse and restraint.

ari = range and tone
tori = control and agility
demi = power and emotion
Ariana for the tone? Tori has better tone than Ariana lol, and Demi has better tone than Tori. Tone is subjective but we should tend to look at the uniqueness too, Ariana's tone isn't unique, it's a common sound and many can even impersonate without really trying hard, Tori's tone is more unique than Ariana's but Tori sounded like other girls too, Demi's tone is more unique than the two, none of the impersonators have successfully tried impersonating Demi's tone.
It should be:
Ari - range and ease
Tori - control and agility
Demi - power, emotion and tone.
