The Dream

Two years after the death of our daughter Brooke I was having doubts and questions wondering if I really would ever see her again. On a recent cruise my close friend Bruce Haynes noticed something was not right with me. He asked me about it.....he tells the story here in his own words. This changed my life.

I'm so honored to have co-written the song "Daddy I'm Home" about this very story! Gene Reasoner, Travis Bryan, & Jerry Salley wrote it in February 2018. Gene released it that summer & it went #1 on October & November of 2018. All Glory to God

Bruce what a blessing this was. You were there at the hotel when our daughter Cindy left us for her heavenly home. I totally understand the feeling Gene was having. I can still be Sitting and Cindy comes to my mind. Thank you my friend.

I am so happy for you that God in His infinite wisdom saw it right and proper (at the foundation of our creation) to put Bruce Haynes in your life, so that he would deliver this message to you and Viva. A vision that is a soothing balm to the fathomless grief you two are going through. The bible says that "Old men will dream dreams". We must then be mindful of this as we go into this winter of our lives.
