Hey, I'm in y10 and sat my mocks a few weeks ago. Honestly my advice is to start learning quotations now for subjects like English Literature since you'll be able to focus on revising on other things later on

@@cosmos6294 my history teacher told us that he did the math and if you went into the exam and didn't know anything but how to structure all the questions correctly you'll get a grade 7. history on top.
@o yeah. just pass off the information that is said in the exam as your own and structure the question correctly. you can even mess up on one of the papers and do good on the others and still get a good grade.

I’m about to finish year 13 and go Uni but I have to admit, GCSE was far more stressful than sixth form. Going back 2 years ago I actually can’t believe I went through that $hit😂

a levels are far worse man 😭😭 gcses were not easy at all but a level content, mark schemes and grade boundaries… not for the weak
@@zzkng1 ye true, I did A level History, A level Product design and Btec science. The content for history was like 3 subjects in 1 but just thinking about gcse, the fact that we had to multi task 7 subjects with exams packed into only 1 week is crazy. The finals for a levels had many days in between which made it easier
i agree! i think because we had GCSEs during covid era it was even worse. i know schools did things differently but my school forced us to do statistics even though we'd literally never done a single stats lesson ever, and we did three intensive days of stats... i don't even remember the content. now im off to uni next month and oh my god a levels were stressful but nowhere near as much as GCSEs. mine were mostly coursework, which helped

When you said that you revised everything except for macbeth I was like nooooo . But i'm glad it went well for you. I think Maths Paper 1 was actually alright but i'm just scared that paper 2 and 3 are just gonna be way harder 💀. But good luck for your GCSE's you're gonna smash it!
honestly watching it back i was like oh my- good thing i went over macbeth himself the night before 😭😭. i feel like im overreacting saying paper 1 maths was awful but i guess i’ll have to see paper 2/3 first- but thank youu so much, good luck to u too :)

i hope yours went really well! i had gcse's in 2021, which means i didn't actually do anything properly and it was all a piss take. my brain's deleted all the content now, i don't remember half the maths or spanish content XD. will you be off to college in september? if you are, I hope you have fun there too. A Levels are hell but really worth it, especially if you end up with good teachers.
I'm off to University 💀it's going to be an interesting experience for sure.

But what's worse is that I heard the British curriculum is very hard compared to the Canadian and American one, so I am terrified I'm going to stay behind in terms of academics.
