It's been so long since I last visited Malaysia. It's a nice country (and a good place to shop!). I hope you enjoyed your vacay there! Can't wait to watch more of this travel series! 🙂
i agree with everything 💯 i enjoyed my time there so much, people are so warm and nice too it makes me wanna come back asap. thank you, Claire! i appreciate it. more soon!! 😊
Hi! regarding the fare, if it's after 12am, the fares are usually doubled from KLIA to KL (this goes for both grab and normal drivers). it's usually around RM50-RM60 (depending on your area) to KL from KLIA during the day :)
thanks for the clarity! 😊 that might be the reason why we were charged 115 from klia to kl. I genuinely thought we were duped cause our grab from kl going back to klia was just RM 65
Hi! I'm going to Malaysia in a couple weeks and stumbled upon your vlog nung naghahanap ako ng videos about 1000 Miles Hotel kasi I'm planning to stay there din. Would you recommend it? Is it safe sa area? I saw from the other reviews that the hotel's great but worried sa neighborhood because of the homeless people at night apparently. Thank you! Love the vibes sa vlogs mo!
Hello 😊 thanks for the kind words. Sa experience namin as 2 girls na nagtravel, yes relatively safe sya. By day 2 to 6 naglalakad na lang kami from Chinatown pauwi around 10 pm - 12 am and wala naman kaming naging problem. Madilim lang yung route but thankfully wala kaming sketchy encounters. Yung vicinity ng hotel mismo wala rin kaming homeless na nakita but I can’t speak for recent times since a year na din since our travel. If you have extra to take grab, hindi sya ganun kalayo from the touristy spots and chinatown so okay din Yung mismong hotel naman maliliit yung rooms and walang housekeeping since hostel vibes sya but kung tulugan lang talaga pwede na given the price :) Sorry mahaba but hope it helps!
Hello, per my experience the Immigration Officer didn’t ask for them. On my latest travel I didnt bring a bank statement but I still brought a photocopy of vaccination. They werent checked as well
hello, per my experience it doesn’t seem so. The immigration officer didnt ask for it, but since it was the first time I’m traveling post pandemic at the time, I wanted to be prepared so I brought it with me just in case :) ps: i travelled to 2 other countries after my malaysia trip and i didnt bring bank statements with me anymore. so far, no issues. hope it helps!
@@SittieSaheda thank u so much for ur response! omg this is my first time traveling abroad. mind if i know some of the questions that they asked at the immigration?
Hello! I literally just booked my Malaysia and came to your vlog so thank you for uploading this content. Sorry, di ko yata na-catch yung name nung hostel. Pwede po ba malaman yung name nung hostel, and pwede rin po ba malaman yung cost? Thank you in advance.
Hi, Aira 😊 glad you found this channel. The hostel is 1000 Miles (Thousand Miles) walkable sya from Chinatown. Nasa 4900 lang for 7 nights na. It’s small lang but with a sizeable ensuite bathroom so okay na rin. Tinulugan lang naman namin talaga during the entire stay. Hope it helps! :)
Thanks, ate A 😊 yes nagpunta sya nung last day ng exhibit ni Pao. Nagbigay din sya ng suggestion where to go and saan mura bumili ng pasalubong. Nakakatuwa to see a familiar face in MY

Best practice: just withdraw money from the ATM. Your ATM card na Visa or Mastercard will work sa ATMs overseas. Mas ok rates
Thanks for the tip! 😊 will definitely try this on my next travel abroad
