    Ducati uses 15W50 oil. You should compare it with the same type of oil, not the 5w40, to see the real difference. the other thing I would say is that it is not recommended at all to use different oil spec other than the factory, which is 15W50 for the V4

      Hey... Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. We compared Motul 300v 15w50 oil to Ducati Performance Oil in the video below.

    Hey Ib,
    Don’t the organic oils also have a life based on heat cycles? I hear that 300v is only good for a day or two of track time before the organic esters expire. I wonder how long that would realistically be on the street. Maybe a week after the first heat cycle before they expire?

    Have you ever had any issues with your riding modes on your V4R? Mine is stuck in Street mode and when I try to put it into Race A mode it goes straight to the engine screen. Just curious if you had that issue on your Ducati

      The Panigale V4 R gets very hot on the dyno since it doesn't have air from the road to help cool it down. The hotter the bike gets, less horsepower and torque it produces.

    Früher hätte man gesagt 'ein nutzbares Drehzahlband von 3000 Umdrehungen, nämlich von 12000 bis 15.000 Umdrehungen pro Minute'
    Wobei sich das natürlich nur viel anhört, ... denn 3/15 x 100 macht nur 20 % des gesamten Drehzahlbandes - aber dann natürlich insgesamt genügend Leistung vorhanden ist ist das wohl auch ausreichend.
    Und danke fürs Teilen, wir wissen immer gerne mehr!
    (And how about the use of race fuels again? Does electronics/ignition/injection gsets free more power with higher octane fuels?)

    • @650ib
      @650ib  3 місяці тому +3

      Yes, 240HP at the crank. Every dyno reads different and weather conditions also effect the HP numbers. For this experiment, we're only concerned with the HP and TQ comparisons back to back with different oil.
