And watching Eleanor’s reaction to that line in the show breathes so much more life into it. The acting is phenomenal. The directing is phenomenal. All around a masterpiece of a production.
I love Eleanor decisions about acting. She sounds really sad. I love it when actors forget about projecting that much the voice for the sake of the acting.
I would give both my left and right foot to see this production in London. This is a captivating performance and makes me desperate to see the full show!
Saw this last night. It was completely and utterly brilliant. I was blown away and cannot stop thinking about it. The cast were so so incredible and I urge people to see it!
Why isn't Natalie sitting as well? Or is that because her mom just doesn't care enough about her? All the jokes aside i think this is amazing. Eleanor and Jack sounds good together, great casting.
She has some fairly awkward and high intervals to sing which require a lot of support and standing would give her the best chance of hitting those notes (better alignment/posture)
"She's not there" is because they don't notice her because the parent's attention was always on the brother, that's why she's the invisible girl. "He's not here, I am here" is because... ⚠️Spoiler alert⚠️ . . . . . . . The brother is dead but he's still he golden child even though he's gone and she's not.
They must do a cast album
It's a crime that there hasn't been one yet!
Cassie's "as much as I can" was truly heartbreaking
I agree. I prefer the way she performed it here as opposed to the belt version at the Olivier Awards

@@tylerdowns8191It’s the best show I’ve ever seen, I was in awe at how flawless it was.

Watch it in live at the theatrre. She gave a totally different projection and suspension. Defo not her best in this video.

I need a cast album yesterday!!!
Saw this live at the Oliviers. Absolutely stunning performance!
Just came back from the show. Evening I will never forget and might be the best vocally performance I ever seen!
Eleanor should have won the Olivier!
She already has one!
All 3 for them should have won.
All three are magnificently talented singers! The London production must be exceptional.
Just saw this show live in London and WOWOWOW. What a beautiful show, and phenomenal cast.
Heartbreaking performance. Wow.
Looking forward to seeing this production.
So beautiful
Stunning 😍
I remember watching Jack and Eleanor in Hetty Feather years ago, love them both so much 🥰🥰
fantastic.. interesting to hear other cast sing it, other than Jennifer Damian, Aaron Tveit
cast album when??

I think some singers just don't like to sing sitting down.

@@bwayslimess4124 this is probably the more accurate reason, but my first thought was that it makes them all the same height 😂
love jack x
powerful!
Uk Revival eating the OBC up! 😤 Such Beautiful Music!
Technically it’s not a revival. It’s the first time it’s been done professionally here
Already know I’ll need tissues
Omg wait is that Wylan from Shadow and Bone??
Yep, that's who he is.
YESSSSS
I am nor familiar with the play. When she sings “ she’s not here” is she mean herself or her mother?

When Aaron Tveit sang it, it almost a taunt. When Jack looks at Eleanor he is supportive.
The way Aaron did it is best.
