Kenny has learned a lot on his own as well. He has a few teachers in high school, but they weren’t very good most likely. Kenny to me had surpassed any modern sax player. He’s by far the best.
@@LRey85 I don’t disagree that Grover was an inspiration, heck the guy practically created smooth jazz. But Kenny has had to develop his sound and style based on other saxophonists as well. Stan Getz and Cannonball Adderley. But really, I think Kenny has his own sound. Untouchable
