I just heard this for the first time and I am is awe of this young mans voice! The duet itself was beyond great,it was awesome!!!! Don't ever stop singing John, you are a "true" natural with a gift from God.
A true Entertainer can sing, dance & act and transmit emotion to the audience. Jenn has all those qualities in abundance. She owns the stage the minute she steps on it!
As a lifelong Christian I have heard this song a thousand times... always liked it... to hear THIS version of it... with John and Ms Mightypipes wow... blessed and blessed...amen and amen...
I've been lucky to hear Wynonna and her former backups, Robert, Vicki and Kim, do "HGTA" many times; that will always be the benchmark, as far as I'm concerned. I think Jennifer has the mightiest pipes in Nashville currently. So props to John Glosson for standing toe to toe with her and delivering a powerfully heartfelt version. It was terrific.

I'm so glad you did because I tuned in late and missed this part of the show. I'd been waiting for John G. to be ranked number one on the show. Wy, Robert, Vicki and Kim did this song at Tammy Wynette's and also Carl Perkins' funerals. And Wy used to do this as an encore at everywhere from casinos to the Astrodome.
John is a joy of a musician, unlike many others like Brandi Carlile.

goosebumps! Great! Jennifer is obviously so used to singing duets as compared to Kelly,that's why kelly's contestants were outshined by jennifer's boys...not that Kelly s contestant have poorer vocal skills

Jen is a beast. No doubt about it. John has the best voice of them all. J Rome is a bit better performer; but in sheer voice; John all the way. And the fact that he blends so well with Jen is amazing. Unlike that thin gay looking dude singing with kelly. He's horrible. Pushes air through his nose like a vacuum.
Best version of this all time great song was Elvis bar non. Carrie Underwood's was also up in the top.
