    That's one of my top 5 in the coolest lures I've ever seen someone make, UA-cam doesn't give you enough love but it will have no choice!

    Top of the top in lure making. Have never seen anything better. Hope this popper is for a collection or exhibition and not for fishing.

      PS. I noticed the ziploc container you’re using to clean your airbrush. I haven’t seen anyone do that before. Are you rinsing by dipping between color changes with water? I’d be interested in watching in one of your videos how your cleaning the airbrush. 🙂

      Yes, I rinse and backwash between colors. I'm sort of a self taught airbrusher, so I'm not sure if that's proper but it works for me.

    Mike Stinnett of 'Stinnet Sticks' UA-cam channel uses a wood burner on a lot of his carvings. I beleive he even has a few videos dedicated to carving trout. You might want to check them out- you would probably enjoy his videos.

    From my experience as a wood carver have found if you burn at edges it keeps stain from bleeding where you don’t want it.

    I love the painted side ,not so much on the carved side.
    The carved lure should all be carved ,but still it's a novelty item well done ,love the colors choice

    What would be the cost of that popper? I would love to have one like this but with orange yellow colors and a gold skeleton just to have it as an ornament. What you do is an art. Greetings from Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche Mexico

    That is super cool! How did you paint the first popper to give it that marbled look? It looks almost like resin but I’m curious to know how you painted the blue marbling and the gold skeleton. Thanks and keep up the awesome work 👊🏼

      Thanks for watching! I hand painted the last one with Testors model paints. I went over the white primer with gloss teal and dabbed it with tissue paper to give it some texture. Then I frehanded in some flat black and white marble veins. The final step was hand painting metallic gold over the bones. I really appreciate your support!

      I've caught dorado on these big 7" poppers and I've had good luck for bass on the 3" poppers. I'm working on getting a better camera setup for fishing, so hopefully I can record some catches. Thanks for watching!

      Great question, I mostly use poplar, sometimes basswood. I will use balsa if I need a lot of bouancy.
