Easier is it in the exponential form: -1=exp(iп ), so 4th square of-1 is
exp(iп/4)=cos(п/4) + i sin(п/4)

√(2i) can be simplified to 1+i

I think maybe your approach is not the simplest or the preferred approach: consider m= +/-root i times root 2.This is +/-(e^ipi/4times root 2) This is +/- (1/root2+i/root2)root2 or +|- 1+/-I Or am I wrong ?

Corec tot ! Nu îmi place însă că linia de fracție e pusă aiurea . Corect ar fi ca aceasta, linia de fracție, să fie trasată între liniuțile semnului egal.
