Hi mate just got a ford kuga diesel 20lt of a mate i got it started and it comes up with code U0140 lost connection with body control module any ideas please 🙏
@@ResurwreckAutosUK Thank you, for the cam sprocket may work. About the flywheel will be difficult, if anyone has measure it with caliper will be easier 🙂
Great video, I might have missed it but what year was the Kuga? I’m currently shopping for one but want to avoid a wet belt. I notice this doesn’t seem to be a wet belt. Are wet belts limited to the eco boost engines. How about the older 2 litre diesel engines. Do these still have wet belts. Thanks
Looks like you used a sealant on the water pump. What do you use and I take it its just a skim. The motor factors tell me you don't need to but I like to, but just a little
Nice video and good explanations but one point I would ask did you use any type of sealant on the water pump gasket?? I've just changed mine today on my mk 4.5 mondeo 2.0 tdci and it had the paper type gasket not the compressed steel one and I didn't use anything..........no leaks so far mind you! Again good video of how it's done 👍👍
Great video. I notice this car has 87k miles on it. Just wondering is this the 1st change for timing belt / water pump on this? I have the same model Kuga at 76k miles at the moment.
Also nah m8 i wouldnt be happy keep lifting my car up and down under the sump yea 0nce to take top mount off but you keep lifting it up and down all that wieght on the sump makes me cringe does doing it once to take mount off and what was that you putr on the gasket for the water pump ??

does the engine need to be in TDC before inserting locking pins as you never explained this??
Looks like you used a sealant on the water pump. What do you use and I take it its just a skim. The motor factors tell me you don't need to but I like to, but just a little
