@@FoolieFM yes he did and was very loyal. If he stays maybe try him at receiver or run some wildcat plays with him. Hes such a great all around player.
EJ said to an ESPN reporter he intended to enter the portal after the bowl game. Why he hasn’t done so is anyone’s guess. It’s not like he had Pitts and Toney to toss it to this season. He was facing pressure most of the year because the line would break down, and Mullen would shut the running game down when it was working and do a QB fake 3 plays in a row. I respect EJ for trying even after the fan base turned on him. I respect him for pursuing his degree at UF. Did he have a great year? No. Should he transfer and start fresh for his own sake? Maybe if he intends on pursuing professional sports, but if he’s planning on this being his last season of football period, then why bother transferring? No Gators fan should EVER be rude to an athlete’s family member, especially their mother.
I agree 1000% I said in serval videos that it’s absolutely embarrassing and uncalled for with how the fan base treated him and his family. People got way to personal with the slander and insults that was directed towards him & his family. He’s a damn good person and nobody deserves to be treated like that. Yes he was bad but he’s a D1 athlete & that’s something that most people can’t say. I really wish him the best but I really don’t think it’s the best idea for him to stay given how toxic the fan base is. If he does decide to stay, I hope he proves everybody wrong
I wonder if he’d be open to swapping positions? Emory is a good kid and I hope the best for him no matter what, but, he just isn’t good enough for us to compete for championships
Once a throwing motion gets into the muscle memory Is it's very difficult to change. You saw that with Tim tebow. No matter how much coaching he had he would go back to his old muscle memory during the game. There is a certain set of drills that we could do to change his muscle memory but not many people know how to teach this. If he were to contact me I could show him. But I doubt that's gonna happen. The problem with his throwing motion is his axis tilts backwards. Will never throw accurately like that. It has to be changed.
I never played QB so I never knew that. But it makes alot of sense. I hope he can find a solution because he’s a good person and deserves to have great success. I’m just not sure if he’ll be able to or not. I hope he proves us all wrong tho
Dan Mullen actually screwed Emory's career. FACT! Mullen did him no favors before, during and after. He baited and switched him throughout his UF tenure. Shame for such a nice young man. Unfortunately doubtful that Coach Napier could even salvage him.
I think Mullen was all in EJ originally but I think he eventually checked out. It became more and more apparent that Mullen wasn’t happy at UF and didn’t want to be there anymore so I think he stopped giving af about anything and that hurt the team alot
@@FoolieFM exactly and it messed up EJ's development, and progress. Mullen recruited him, sold him and his Mom a bill of false goods. Mullen never delivered, and Emory is paying the price.

Yeah I think it’ll be best for his football career that he transfers. But if he’s thinking about life after football then I can understand his reasoning for staying and getting his degree from UF
He’s finishing his degree and transferring in the spring. He’s probably gonna go to a smaller school. If he’s a rational young man (which I know he is), he knows he’s not gonna get a shot in the league.
@@FoolieFM he doesn’t see the field well enough to be a division 1 QB let alone an NFL one. He should drop down a division and go have some fun. He’s a great guy all football plays aside, so I think he’ll be fine.
I think I started it on Twitter about him being a slot receiver playing QB about a year ago. If he starts at QB might as well not watch the gators and just go enjoy your Saturdays. I always want kids to succeed no matter what team but if Napier looks at tape and says "This is my Guy". then Napier can leave now and we got the wrong coach. lol. but not lol. This is not going to be a popular statement but the same is for Richardson. Looks like the same player but faster. He could be a Tight End and not QB. But time will tell. We need a TraskType QB. Yeah EJ isn’t really it at QB and I don’t think he ever will truly be that. If Napier does play him I just hope he plays EJ to his strengths and not let him throw the ball 30+ times a game. But regardless of how you play EJ , I don’t think the ceiling is that high even on a best case scenario. I hope he proves me wrong but I just don’t see it. And as for AR, there are many questions that surround him. For one he has a injury history and secondly nobody really knows how good of a passer he can be. We only seen a small sample size which isn’t always an accurate representation of how good or bad a player will be. Everybody is looking at AR like he’s a sure thing but nothing ever is and there’s a possibility that he isn’t all that good as a passer either. I’m not saying that he isn’t talented and isn’t capable of balling out. I’m just saying that there’s a possibility that he might not live up to the high expectations that we have for him. I get what you’re saying completely bro
With how injury prone AR is if emory stays hes gonna start some games probably and I dont think he could transfer anywhere with a big enough platform for his only one year left
Good point. His options are hella limited because last season was soo bad. He might be betting on himself that he can start over AR. With a nice offseason EJ could actually have a nice bounce back season. AR has an injury history and if we’re being honest nobody really knows how good AR is as a passer. We only seen flashes of him
