Almost 8 mos later, and this video is in the Top 3 most viewed on this channel -- and it is the worst one I've ever done 🤣 So rushed, so incorrect, I really do owe Veils a proper video. Maybe someday. Thank you to those who get something out of this anyway.

Hey, you never know what we might need later. 💪🏾

Yeah, it's probably because no one has covered it, but I think some things like you said are not correct here so it would be cool to see a do-over.

      ah you noticed :D
i cant find a good video about veils....
i have a stupid question: going with a voice to IN without any control voltage, can you turn the voice/volume to 0 (=not hearable i mean) which knob you use to do so? where is the normal gain when there is no contro voltage involved? is the slider working as gain when there is no CV input?

you should make an update now that you've had the module for longer. i got the After Later clone of Veils which is called Cloaks. i love it.

@@LazarusGordon Sorry, somehow I missed this comment. Yes, with no CV jacked, the slider still acts as Gain. The Offset knob also functions to boost the signal.

Absolutely. Especially if it's working OK now 🙂 I am finding there really are no "rules" about this stuff, except plugging power in the right way, and outs go to ins, etc 😁 Good luck, and welcome to the rabbit hole!
