You may well enjoy Dr. Robert Sepher’s UA-cam channel, as well as his books. He is known to many as “the World’s Most Dangerous Archeologist” as he refuses to be bought and told what he can and cannot research or share regarding findings. He has a channel in his own name, as well as “Atlantean Gardens”, an older channel that contains his findings. He uses a phenomenal amount of evidence and references multiple cultures, religions, beliefs, and ancient practices.
As far as El Derado was concerned, I like to think that there's a funny possibility that the natives were just messing with them in hopes they'd get lost in the jungle XD
El Dorado isn't a native american name, though. The Spanish probably had their own beliefs that a city of gold existed somewhere, probably exacerbated by their lust for gold at the time.
Emilio Reyes I doubt the natives could've stopped them even if they wanted to. The Conquistadors were probably awed and baffled by the display of gold and it's use as purely ornamental by the natives and needed very little convincing that somewhere out there was a city decked out in gold. It was a less enlightened time.
Emilio Reyes I like your idea. As if they were saying, "You think we have gold? You should see, whadda ya call it, El Dorado. Yeah, that is where you should go. Leave us alone, go get the real store of gold.👍"
+Teatro Grottesco Spaniards even came to my Tribe (Lakota) looking for a golden city. Of course a lot of my ancestors were confused, and pointed them back South again. lmao

Excelleny work and thank you for the well presented information that takes care to note that these places could or could not have existed. Too often I find presenters desperate to ram their theories down our throats as truths, and skeptics half hartedly dismissing what is possibly solid evidence. Thank you again.

The story of Shambhala was the inspiration for the story of Shangri-La and the book and movie “Lost Horizons” which depicts a hard to find civilization high up in the mountains near Tibet with a temperate climate, peaceful society with advanced technology and where people live hundreds of years. The film was lost for decades but most of it has been found and restored with portions where the sound is present and photographic stills are used. It’s a great movie with a kind of Twilight Zone appeal.

An uncanny coincidence is that the ancient Incas had a word for a blend of gold and tin called "Atl". And their word for place was "Antis". If you put them together it becomes Atlantis, the place of gold-tin. There is a lot of this metal in the Peru area and we know the Incas had advanced tech for their time. Sometimes I wonder if the Incas were the inspiration for the story of Atlantis. But it's way more interesting to think of a super-advanced ancient nation that might have been hit with an asteroid or something.

Kumari Kandam existing 11 thousand years ago and sinking into the sea would make sense, given that that's about when the last ice age ended. Melting glaciers caused rising sea levels, flooding the continent. Kind of like what's going to happen to Miami in a few years.

Fascinating once again! I heard that divers off the coast of Japan discover a sunken pyramid. However I'm not too sure regarding the validity of their discovery
Look for Yonaguni Jima or Y. Monument. It is factual, though scholars argue about it's origins (whether it's man made or naturally eroded into such shapes. It's a similar phenomenon and argument as the Baltic Anomaly.
Aristotle, a pupil of Plato, believed that Plato had invented the story of Atlantis to teach philosophy but Crantor, a pupil of Plato's student Xenocrates believed it to be historical fact so there was controversy even at a time close to Plato's telling of the story in his dialogues Timaeus and Critias, which are the only account of Atlantis.
Atlantis by name (and description), yes, but other civilizations have their own 'version' (in a sense). The whole thing might be allegorical like that of Prometheus, but generally there's SOME kernel of truth. Maybe a civilization that wasn't necessarily advanced by any of-age standard, but one far enough that myths grew from their vaguely known existence.
colin Paterson Atlantis has been rediscovered, check out the richat structure in Africa everything plato said fits perfectly. ua-cam.com/video/oDoM4BmoDQM/v-deo.html
If it was only a story by Plato, why Herodotus, made a map, before Plato, in which he drew Atlantis, in exactly the same region as today Richat structure in Africa? Plus the story of Atlantis, is not from Plato per se, is from Solon and because of that I don't see a REASON why Plato would tell a story of another one. ua-cam.com/video/U5kEzxOb-3c/v-deo.html
Excellent documentary. A lot of interesting information. Above all the voice is clear and the background music is not overpowering; you can just listen and absorb the information. True Professionalism. Thanks for your hard work.
Don't think I can hit the like button enough here! :D VERY well researched examination on ancient cultures and their roots. So amazing how these cultures have such a timeless impact, though only a scant remnant of material still exists today. Thank you both for your hard work on this and all the other docs you do!
One thing you should also have touched on is that many duplicate holdings from the library at alexandria still remain in the vatican library which is completely secret and out of bounds of the public to study.
This is truly an amazing channel. Never have I ever watched a proper video on UA-cam without fast-forwarding it, but this channel is an exception. Splendid narration, by the way.

The Hyperboreans feature prominently in the excellent comic book Hellboy, if anyone's interested. Out of the list, the one I found most interesting was Shambhalla. The idea of this highly advanced civilization of wise men hidden within the bowels of the earth waiting for its time to return is quite an interesting one to me.
Matheus Arruda same. And I'm wondering what they would do to bring back peace and restore order? I could see it going one of two ways. I'd love to see that come to fruition.
It could have been a great Indiana Jones movie (Fate of Atlantis), they had a script from the game and could have simply modified it... instead of.... well... we all know....
Fascinatingly detailed with histories that we may not have even heard before. For those that we know only the name of, the research you have undertaken has revealed some of the sources of their original discoveries. Absolutely thought-provoking and wonderfully produced into another excellent documentary! I’m very pleased to hear of your new website and will be a very happy subscriber! Thank you, both! ☺️
Not necessarily. A crater from an asteroid hit was very recently found under the ice sheets of Greenland. It's thought to have hit about 12,000 years ago, with an explosion that was 47 MILLION times as big as the Hiroshima bomb. Yes, 47 million. It's thought it caused the huge rise in seawater that happened about then, when the waters would have risen more than 30 feet in a single day. That's like the Indonesian tsunami happening around pretty much the whole world at the same time, except the waters didn't go back down, they kept rising over the next few years. We like living on coastal, so cities there would have been totally erased. It also set off a devastating ice age that lasted over a thousand years, making it very difficult for those who survived the impact and floods. Gobekli Tepi, in Turkey, which is many times larger than Stonehenge, and much more sophisticated, was intentionally buried at that time as well. Lots of reasons for a civilization to disappear besides hubris.
I really want to thank you for this presentation. Thank you, sincerely, for talking about Atlantis specifically. It was one of the best and most sensible presentations I’ve heard about Atlantis so far. I live for the day when we are able to rediscover these ancient sites.
Your channel is the best paranormal/mystery channel on UA-cam, and your voice is amazing. I would listen to you narrate literally any subject. Thank you for the time and effort you put into your videos.
Lemmuria, when the secrets of the world were not so secret, after the time of the Voormis, from whom humanity took those lands. Lovecraft and the crew would be proud if it was found to be real
I could watch your documentaries all day. The people who survived the disaster deserve our utmost thanks and praise. We would not be where we are today if it had not been for them. They could have just given up but they saw fit to invest in the future of the human race by teaching what they knew to others.
If they have the Technology to hide this long, i'm pretty sure they have a way to defend themselves just fine. Maybe they're one of the sources for UFO's? Just a thought. :)
Awesome work ! Apart from the Gobeklitepe; which is purposefully buried for some unknown creepy reason; there're also an underground city that resemble a massive shelter at Anatolia. Ancient people were definetly feared something form sky
It was probably sky goats. They were pretty prolific back in the day. They'd ride in on the clouds and then swoop down on their unsuspecting victims. Thankfully through a mix of hiding underground and improved air defences we eventually whittled down their numbers. That's not to say they're completely gone though. They're still about, floating on the clouds, avoiding aircraft and large population centres. They figured it best to avoid humans less they be wiped out. They do plan on rising up eventually though, so we must be wary. They're growing in number every spring, estimations put their population at anything from 6 to 9.5 million individuals. In another couple of decades they will be a threat once more.
Thank-you for taking on such a fascinating topic, one which has been part of my world view since I was a child who haunted libraries and read in my room late into the night. Possibility and probability don’t always disagree as you so clearly express and if in the next few generations we don’t bomb ourselves back into the mesolithic, we may find some definitive answers🤷🏼♀️
Somewhat difficult listening as her storytelling is excellent, but her voice is somehow very calming too me too. I try n listen at night when I'm trying to fall asleep and like I said her voice relaxes me but she always tells such good stories like "ok it 200am the story is another 35 minutes and I gotta be up at 600am so if I go right to sleep the very moment she stops talking that leaves me 3hrs 25min to sleep "
I love that you actually give credit where its due. A lot people are tell the story of Plato and is tell of Atlantis forget tell where he heard the story in the first place. 🍻
Secondly, there was a . . . medium (for lack of a better word) named Jane Roberts who, back in the 70's supposedly channeled an entity called Seth. In one of her books, Seth describes three distinct civilizations that were more advanced than we are presently that existed before us. Of course you have to buy in on the channeling, but the accounts are very interesting.
Yes. It was burned down by the romans, by the christians. And there was also a fire in muslim times, but the muslims had already made copies of the books and brought them to bagdad and also to Constantinopel (the byzantines had good trade with the muslims). We should also not forget: Alexandria was, unlike urban legend tells us, not THE library of the antic world. but ONE of them. There were libraries of this kind also in Rome, in Konstantinopel, in Bagdad etc. The library of rome was destroyed during the german tribe invasion. And we got to know again the old texts, when Konstantinopel was sacked and the scholars went to Italy with all the books they had. There they then reestablished our modern history.
This is some seriously deep perceptive veiws on these civilizations. It is deffenitly a video worth watching. Even if its just to understand the myths better. it is amazing and I would love it if even half of of these civilizations are proven to be real. simply because their history could teach us so much.
The Paranormal Scholar your welcome I am always looking for interesting knowledge. I know about many of these mythical civilizations from books. but I have never seen anyone attempt to give such a incredibly thorough explanations of these mythological locations. So thank you for producing this video.

I am hoping he lets me come along sometimes and I can see history for myself. Can you please give us an update on the documentary?

Anyone notice @ 28:13 displaying an ancient map of Atlantis, it shows America and Africa on the opposite sides of the map. I did notice the direction the arrow on the map is indicating North. Not sure why the map would of been drawn this way but it does Make me wonder of the much talked about pole shifts throughout history and that were described by historians that possibly sunk Atlantis. Very interesting.
Just want to say, I really enjoy your videos, im a recent subscriber and going through all your old videos, haven't been disappointed once. Thanks for the great content. :)
It's so sad that deforestation and the melting of glaciers may show us things about our past and ancient peoples that we never knew, even as those things are harbingers of the planet becoming inhospitable for us.
3000 years in the future. Now we shall explore the legend of the ancient and mysterious land of America, it’s inhabitants called it USA for reasons that are now obscure. America was a marvelous land where at first they worshiped liberty and independence but then their kingdom succumbed to corruption and the mighty American empire fell. Many tried to rebuild this great land the legends say, however then came what ancient scholars called the great disaster and America was lost all together by convergences of land and it was sunken deep under the waters of the ocean. Is all of this really true? We don’t know for sure but there has to be some truth to it, it was written about and mentioned in so much of the text back in those times and with events that led to what our scientists now call global climate change which occurred back then it is highly possible that the ancient land of USA America did in fact exist.
Oh god... LMFAO Can you imagine it? 1000 years from now and the only remnants are gonna be mountains in South Dakota where pariadolia is blamed for their resemblance to giant faces and a chieftan on horseback. And probably also, the Georgia guidestones.....
Don't worry, Trump can make that happen. In the end there's a Poseidon (Status-6) aimed at you. It hits with about 100 megaton power and is assumed to be able to destroy a whole continent.
3000 years in the future. As a result of nuclear war, environmental abuse and Mass stupidity human civilization went extincted. Leading to the rise of the mighty cockroach.
Like the destruction of Karthage by Rome. Not a single building left standing and any form of knowledge about Karthage is what Rome has shared in the past. It's like the saying goes History was decided by the winners.
You never cease to amaze me. I've always had a keen interest in history and ancient civilizations. It's nice to know that you have created a history channel...definitely going to subscribe to that too. You've apparently put in a lot of effort and research to produce this video of impeccable quality and watching it is indeed time well spent. Thank you so much!
+Neil Goloy The website is a work in progress, but we will definitely be expanding it, and our history videos here on UA-cam, once we have more free time after our documentary. So many ideas, too little time! Thank you for all your support. :)
Wonderful documentary! Lots of work creating this one!! Very interesting! I’ll be coming back to enjoy this vid again. Mankind’s history is truly a wide vista of uncertainty. Thank you.~ T
Superb . My addition would be to imagine these realities as becoming “physical”. Our bones only became mineral towards the last one third of Atlantis. Lemuria was fire… Hyperborea even more refines, and you missed Polaris the ancient home. We all weave in time and deeper in space as we metamorphosis form and consciousness. I love your work.
Spirit. We used to be able to harness natural energies modern science ignores on purpose. Imagine where we could be had Tesla been succesful in creating unlimited free energy worldwide. All those oil rigs and many if the other industries would be next to useless, natural gas next to useless etc. I think a civilization managed this in the past, and broadcast that power around the world perhaps not even letting other civilizations know it existed. Or perhaps in functioned on its own well after its creator civilization collapsed. Any other civilization that learned how to access the system would have thought it to be a religous experience. We could bioengineer crops to grow in all climates and distribute the food better and feed the world 10 times over with 10x less land used. We could be using bacteria and fungus to clean the world of pollution. Thats just not as profitable
Lovely documentary. I recommend an interesting book on one of the lost civilizations (Kumari Kandam) described in this video. The book is called : "The Dravidian from Kumari Nadu"
Thank you. I found your channel last night and I love this sort of stuff. It's better than anything on television which usually has some sort of political agenda.
I remember growing up hearing the local newspaper talked about the new theory that Atlantis might be near Indonesia. Though I haven't heard the other civilizations, except for El Dorado, Atlantis is always a fascination because of the possibility of it being real is so near.
Wonderful job as always, I can always trust you guys to make my day both more entertaining as well as more intriguing!! Thank you so much, and keep up the hard work!!
It probably was a comet. I've heard recently that they've discovered an impact crater in Greenland which would date back to about that time. Such an impact would have certainly caused the ice of Greenland to melt and cause major tsunamis.

I seen a program about that they are not sure if it was a civilization or natural made. It's actually split 50/50 on the subject.
This has been highly debated. Many scientists are convinced it is actually a natural phenomenon, and NOT man made.

Thoth of Atlantis even puts a time of it destruction: 32,000 yrs ago.
Excellent documentary. A lot of interesting information. Above all the voice is clear and the background music is not overpowering; you can just listen and absorb the information. True Professionalism. Thanks for your hard work.
Thank you for your kind words.
Don't think I can hit the like button enough here! :D VERY well researched examination on ancient cultures and their roots. So amazing how these cultures have such a timeless impact, though only a scant remnant of material still exists today. Thank you both for your hard work on this and all the other docs you do!
+Robert Harmon Thank you, Robert! Your support and kindness is much appreciated. Best wishes to you and yours.
Wonderfully narrated and extremely clear. Thank you. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Thank you for watching and for your kind comment.
+Dogeofdestiny Thank you for your kind words! Best wishes to you and yours.
I can listen to these stories for days.
Thank you and i hope you make more of these documenteries.
I enjoyed it very much.
+Smokin aces Thank you! It is great to know that you enjoyed the topic. Best wishes.
The Paranormal Scholar thank you.
Best wishes to you too and good luck finding more mysteries.
Have a Great Sunday!! :)
Your channel needs many more subscriptions. Impressive subject matter & delivery, narration & no doubt, I'm excited to watch this channel grow & evolve. 🌺
The Hyperboreans feature prominently in the excellent comic book Hellboy, if anyone's interested. Out of the list, the one I found most interesting was Shambhalla. The idea of this highly advanced civilization of wise men hidden within the bowels of the earth waiting for its time to return is quite an interesting one to me.
it was also a plot point in indiana jones and the fate of atlantis.
Matheus Arruda same. And I'm wondering what they would do to bring back peace and restore order? I could see it going one of two ways. I'd love to see that come to fruition.
If there was ever a time for this society of the wise to show themselves it would be now.
There's No better time Than the present if they are coming back a
It could have been a great Indiana Jones movie (Fate of Atlantis), they had a script from the game and could have simply modified it... instead of.... well... we all know....
Excellent , thank you.
Thank you, as always. Best wishes :)
I've often thought that every monument was the remains of us having some time in the past created something only to destroy ourselves through hubris.
What a great show Glad I found it. Thank-you.
This is an incredible documentary so much research and some incredible editing all beautifully presented and very interesting
Agreed.
Agreed, very well presented.
agreed very interesting
+CO.AG Music Thank you. Your music was the perfect cherry on top! Best wishes.
true she is awesome
I live by mount shasta.
Rumor has it the lemmurians live inside the volcano
I could watch your documentaries all day. The people who survived the disaster deserve our utmost thanks and praise. We would not be where we are today if it had not been for them. They could have just given up but they saw fit to invest in the future of the human race by teaching what they knew to others.
Great documentary. I think that if any of the civilizations still exist and man found them they would be destroyed and plundered.
If they have the Technology to hide this long, i'm pretty sure they have a way to defend themselves just fine. Maybe they're one of the sources for UFO's? Just a thought. :)
Don't forget corrupted
I stumbled across this channel. History has always been a fascination of mine. I subscribed immediately.
Awesome work !
Apart from the Gobeklitepe; which is purposefully buried for some unknown creepy reason; there're also an underground city that resemble a massive shelter at Anatolia. Ancient people were definetly feared something form sky
+The DORUK Thank you! It is fascinating to wonder. I would love to visit some of these sites. I hope you enjoy!
Agreed, my friend. Such potential wonders await discovery.
Pretty sure that cave city in turkey was built to hide from the friggen sea peoples at the end of the bronze ages.
Michael Wlazlinski That and the heat as well.
My, that ending was spine chilling.
Very well done. I watch many videos on this topic. I am glad to have found your channel.
+Waylon Joy Thank you for watching.
Wow...I thoroughly enjoyed that...superb. Excellent work. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👌🏽👍🏽😁
Thanks for watching.
I love how they mentioned who sacked Baghdad but left out who burned down the Library of Alexandria.
The Library of Alexandria was burned multiple times by multiple people for multiple reasons not all intentional.
“Native Americans would SEEMINGLY use gold frivolously.”
FTFY
Thank you for your hard work and research. This is so interesting as are many of your topics. I'm so glad I found your channel.
I can listen to her for hours. Very well told, and perfect articulated.
This is some seriously deep perceptive veiws on these civilizations.
It is deffenitly a video worth watching. Even if its just to understand the myths better.
it is amazing and I would love it if even half of of these civilizations are proven to be real.
simply because their history could teach us so much.
Thank you for watching.
The Paranormal Scholar your welcome I am always looking for interesting knowledge.
I know about many of these mythical civilizations from books. but I have never seen anyone attempt to give such a incredibly thorough explanations of these mythological locations.
So thank you for producing this video.
I love all your videos! You really bring quality content each time and I greatly appreciate it.
My son is going to be an archeologist and I cannot wait to hear what all he discovers and learns. I am hoping he lets me come along sometimes and I can see history for myself.
Can you please give us an update on the documentary?
A wonderful documentary. Thanks a lot for uploading and creating. I love your channel. Keep up your work.
really great video, thanks!
Really enjoyed this. Great job 😉
Thank you for watching.
This is a seriously underrated channel. I love your work keep it up.
Thank you for your support.
Excellent job, Exceptional video!! Though your videos are not as frequent as I would love to see them, you put a great deal of work into them so that it makes them worth the wait!! 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
+Shark Snack Thank you for your kind words!
Thank you Paranormal Scholar for another update.
Beautifully done….thank you for your time on this informative knowledge. The truth is out there.❤
Forgot about Nalanda university which was similar to the library of Alexanderia
I really like videos like these! You guys did an amazing job on the video!
+Daniel Graziano Thank you, as always, Daniel.
Oh god... LMFAO
Can you imagine it? 1000 years from now and the only remnants are gonna be mountains in South Dakota where pariadolia is blamed for their resemblance to giant faces and a chieftan on horseback. And probably also, the Georgia guidestones.....
Don't worry, Trump can make that happen. In the end there's a Poseidon (Status-6) aimed at you. It hits with about 100 megaton power and is assumed to be able to destroy a whole continent.
@@raynatumbeva780 that sounds cool, frightening but cool
3000 years in the future.
As a result of nuclear war, environmental abuse and Mass stupidity human civilization went extincted. Leading to the rise of the mighty cockroach.
If the human race is still alive somewhere...
Like the destruction of Karthage by Rome. Not a single building left standing and any form of knowledge about Karthage is what Rome has shared in the past.
It's like the saying goes History was decided by the winners.
SO true… even today!
Atlantis = Richat Structure in the Sahara. Fits perfectly. Problem solved.
Wonderful documentary! Lots of work creating this one!! Very interesting! I’ll be coming back to enjoy this vid again. Mankind’s history is truly a wide vista of uncertainty.
Thank you.~ T
Very much enjoyed this
+Adrian Johnson Thanks for watching.
Hyperboria can be places in England, theLong Man of Wilmington is by legend Hercuies holding his club
I love the calm clear narration. And the content took
Thank you for watching.
This is one fantastic video.
+KOWLOON城牆RELOADED Thank you!
yep, shared the hell out of it.
I really enjoyed this video, it made me realise how mysterious our own past really is =) thank you
+Amy I am pleased you enjoyed. Thanks for watching, Amy!
The world used to be so full of magic
The world's still the same. There's just... less in it
Lovely documentary.
I recommend an interesting book on one of the lost civilizations (Kumari Kandam) described in this video.
The book is called : "The Dravidian from Kumari Nadu"
that closing statement though *mind blown*
Hey. This is my favorite video on UA-cam! Thanks! Good Job!
Very fascinating subject and done very well in this video.
A really good video, thank you. Am subscribing right now.
Thanks, Richard, and welcome!
+RedRainDropsDog Thank you!
One of my favorite subjects! Wonderful job guys!
+Ammarrow The king killer Thanks for watching.
Beautiful very well narrated.
Off subject, the narrator has the most relaxing voice on the planet
It probably was a comet. I've heard recently that they've discovered an impact crater in Greenland which would date back to about that time. Such an impact would have certainly caused the ice of Greenland to melt and cause major tsunamis.
