I love this, from first to last. In my head there is now a Skitarii sheriff, and the gang of Eldar bandits. The sheriff is aided by a motley band of misfits and his psyker sidekick.
this is why GW needs to come out with a mercenary army faction where you can mix and match units
and one day high marshall helbrecht rides into town and kills everyone - the gang of Eldars, the misfits, the psyker sidekick, the Sheriff for having dubious aids, the townspeople just for being sure. Then he rides out of town changing the "population" sign to zero.
Would love to hear stories about victories from all groups, best thing while washing these damn dishes lol

Question: if the Mechanicus are usually the ones who start an expedition to frontier world's, are they in contact with the rest of the Mechanicus and can order help/resources? Or are they there to research xeno tech?
My Homebrew world would be an old pleasure/agriculture/research world that falls into frontier world after staving off attacks from dark eldar war band.

@@OneMindSyndicate It's a PC game, you can find it on Steam! It won't immediately remind of you of 40k but with patience it becomes quite reminiscent of a fringe world. It even has Space Marines and Power Armor and 'not' Tyranids! :D

I’m imagining a desert world that has a legend of an archeo tech vault that’s waiting to be discovered but all who have tried to find it have either ultimately failed or died in the attempt. Think Borderlands but in 40k. It’s also an agri-world for some reason.
QUESTION: do you think the tyranids were created by the old ones as a last resort effort to starve out chaos when the orks humans and eldar all fail furthermore do you think tzeench might be planning to use the blue scribes endgame as a method of somehow fighting the tyranids before they end chaos also could there be a minor warp entity centered around tech heresy?

You know What? You're right! I'd have to say an imperial frontier world provides the most opportunity overall the only thing that might rival it would be a civilised world. As far as I know they are still a good place to be.
