First I spent two weeks putting this video together - I tried a few different editing apps, but ending up going back to my old favorite! But I spent a lot of time on this one because I really wanted to do some research, script this one out and think about what I wanted to present, so I hope you enjoy it. I'm starting this Cape Town travel series off with this video because I feel like it gives you a broad and very general overview of Cape Town, South Africa. This video doesn't nearly capture the beauty and the pure essence of this magical place. I'm only skimming the surface here - with plenty more videos to come. I booked this trip back in April of 2021 with a group of 10 but due to issues with travel restrictions and other travel related issues, our group was down to 6 - but I found this to be much more manageable. We'll get into those logistics later though. For questions about who helped with our travel arrangements - see below! It was the best trip of my life and i honestly did not want to leave! We met with a realtor there and everything! So I’m literally praying that everything works out because I want a place there. It felt like HOME!

My friends and I went to South Africa in 2020 and was totally blown away by the scenery, food and people. We used Africa Exotica for our trip and Mark Isaacs was great. Thanks for your video as it brought back great memories.

Spectacular video! Puts tears into my eyes because I lived in Cape Town from 1978 to November 2018! Now I am back in Austria! What a magnificent country SA - n its beautiful peninsula! Wanted to go down in February 2022 for 6 weeks to greet all my friends but health problems shattered my plans for the time being! Well done again for this video showing everyone how beautiful SA is!!

One of the coolest things now is that one can fly directly from Newark to Cape Town. Also, Delta and United each have direct flights from USA to JNB. So many options for our AA friends to travel.

Cape Town my home. Will never leave. I get sunrise in morning from bedroom and from the kitchen the mountain and the sunset. About the Cape Doctor..that wind provides necessary rain to the northern parts of the country. Thanks for good video Glad you enjoyed your stay. As a lifelong Capetonian I would suggest that the best time to visit is Feb/March. It can be pretty windy from Nov to Jan and also very busy from mid December to mid Jan as that is when the schools take their long break and all the up country locals arrive in Cape Town.

Hey. Thank you for watching! We all had to have negative Covid Tests at least 72 hours before traveling there. No other immunizations to travel there. Just be aware if you travel British Airways and if you are traveling through London that there may be a specific app you have to download that will make it easier to pass through that contains all your Covid test results and what not. The cases are spiking again in the EU so the restrictions are constantly changing! But you will have the TIME OF YOUR LIFE THERE!

South Africa is beautiful and most people there are very welcoming...That said South Africa like the USA still has alot of work to do in terms of it's native south African citizens having access to the wealth of that beautiful nation. There still are 2 South Africa's one for the haves and one for the have nots who mostly are the Black South Africans. These are facts and not lies. Like you I have been to South Africa and maybe unlike you I have been there many times. Still miss my Chicken Licken lol..... Remember there are always 2 sides to every story and adventure. I am hoping that South Africa achieves the true freedom and peace it has always wanted for it's people.
