You win by going to the edge of the solar system. I believe you need to be in the ship. Your 120 second timer felt low because you set it to start counting from when you leave Aquilo. So it is counting the time from Aquilo to the solar system edge before you even start heading towards the shattered planet.
Since you have issues with biter egg spoilage, shouldn't you store all the promethium and set conditions to go in or out of the shattered planet road when reaching a certain legth, then you can produce all on nauvis?
I think you need to make the tip unique and defended far more powerful, since without the gun turrets on the sides, the very tip is quite weak comparatively, and the weakest link in your ship is the limit of your ship.
Do you plan to rebuild all the sciences with legendary buildings when you get enough for that to be feasible? My current goal is probably 1k spm with what you have, regular buildings and beacons and modules. Then, I will switch to only using legendary buildings everywhere and see what SPM is reasonable there. Finally, I switch to using only legendary ore and other inputs, so that every single item is legendary, including science, and see if that has better SPM than the previous step. There is also the late game tech capping out the infinite productivity techs. IIRC, there was an FFF that said productivity is now capped at 300%. So, once you get a 300% productivity bonus, you can exclusively switch to speed modules everywhere instead of a prod and speed mix, meaning that super high SPM, combined with high legendary building base crafting speeds, combined with legendary speed modules and legendary beacons and you will get some CRAZY compact builds. Do you plan on any of those crazy late game setups? I can't wait to see what the megabasers come up with cause I think this is what the devs mean when they were talking about crazy SPM numbers in FFFs
It’s crazy how fast you progress with the new tech. I wanted to start a nice square city set up playing trough the game but you have to rebuild everything all the time… so I end up spaghetti trough the planets and want to start city blocks only in late game. It’s pretty disappointing… it’s like I can’t use my wished play style trough the game because everything gets hard inefficient :( instead of demolishing everything and set up new I preferable start a new game with a specific play style: city blocks, not base, belt base etc.
@michi2966 I played a lot of heavily modded factorio (Bob +angels, pyanodon's) that creates a similar desire of "I wanna demolish everything and rebuild" all the time. I highly recommend you do what I learned and just, never demolish anything. If you need more of a resource, then build it with the new setup, but otherwise just leave it alone. 1. only upgrade when you need to. Don't just upgrade to upgrade 2. don't demolish old setups. Just prioritize the new setup and only demolish when you NEED the space or UPS 3. don't go crazy with scale early on.
I haven't beaten the game myself, so I can't say for certain, but I think it's pretty likely you would get the achievement for beating the game by actually getting to the shattered planet. Obviously it's a long way, but if you do the maths, 4,000,000 km at 200 km/s (your approx speed) is 5-6 hours of travelling time - you would basically need to make a fully self sustaining ship and leave it going
You could also throw quality modules for making ammo on the ship which would make them do more damage since you can’t use prod modules
awesome base!!!
bitter eggs dont spoil in their nests so you could make some kind of fancy logic so u dont get spoil eggies :)
You beat the game by being on the ship when it reaches the edge of the solar system
Is it because of peaceful mode that it's doesn't count
It looks like I missed the achievement because I went straight past the edge of the solar system, I never stopped there. :P

pretty sure i won while sitting in nauvis. u dont need to be in the ship
Pretty sure you finish the game when you reach edge of solar system, try doing it while you are on the ship yourself

Legendary eggs last longer, then take more with you.
But they can be only na crafted with a legendary promethium asteroid

you need a TON of resources to make a fully legendary base, like tens of thousands of scrap per second lol

You win by reaching the solar systems edge not shattered planet
