It was a very precise and wonderful video.👍
I've never made a very precise model and I'm not good at it, so it was a very helpful video. Thank you.

I am certainly enjoying these Videos! SO many good ideas. 👌 AND, hopefully soon, my Wife will let me spend some money again - there's several things I want from you.
{I should note... I'm not usually on a leash. 😖 I just had an INSANE spending spree 3 Months ago - and spent over $12,000 in 27 Days!!!!! 😳😳} On just RC!
She's just panicking. This Old Fart really went overboard with my Inheritance!!
Meanwhile, I'm getting very inspired by your Project. 👍👍

Ya, she lets you off the leash for a bit and you go on a spree! Not only do you need to be tied up again, you might need to be neutered lol. Musta been a hell of spree! Did you get any rigs? Well I'm glad you're enjoying these videos buddy. Thanks for your support.

      YUP!! 😁
Grand Hauler, Globe Liner (with King Hauler Frame Rails - 3" stretch!!), and a Mercedes Benz 1850l. I wanted a Box Van too.
      PLUS 4 Buggies, 3 Crawlers, an On-Road Car - and a 1/10th Scale A-10 Warthog!!!! 😏 I dabble in RC Aircraft too.
And a SHIT Ton of accessories and Hopups. A 10 Channel Radio for the Rigs, 3 Beier Sound and Lights Systems, Aluminum Wheels, Gear Reduction Units (because the 80 Turn Motor theory DOESN'T work!! Sure it's slower, but they actually have LESS Torque than lower Turn Motors!)
..... Most Truck guys believe that old Rumor/Theory. Higher Turn Motors are also more prone to early Armature failure - because of the much thinner Winding Wires.
My Dad was an Electrical Engineer and taught me quite a bit!
Soapbox notwithstanding, yeah Buddy.... I spent a bloody fortune in a short time! Before the Inheritance, we were DIRT POOR for the past 11 years, due to some crazy circumstances.
~ We BOTH went a little NUTZ. I was just a bit more crazy!!

@@CarminesRCTipsandTricks Cool story, I didn't really know that about the higher turn motors. I was gonna put a an 80T in my Globe Liner to replace the stock 35, so what other option is there then? I have a gear reduction unit i bought off ebay for $20 back in the day, but I haven't got around to installing it on anything yet. Problem is it adds size to the motor and they are usually stuffed in there already so tough to find the space. I was thinking one of those holmes hobby torque motors, he seems to make a good motor ( another electrical wizard that guy)
I actually have that same Mercedes cab. I bought a brand new discontinued rc4wd worminator 6x6 chassis from some guy in Ontario for 200 bucks. It has some crazy gear reduction tranny, I think it's called the R2. I bought the Mercedes cab to to mount to it because I saw a couple one done like that on youtube by someone else and it looked sharp. It's been mocking me from the to do pile, but i'll get around to it eventually. The 1850 was like a box straight truck I think, like a delivery truck. Electrical engineer eh....... sounds pretty cool, I always respected knowledge of electricity, found it fascinating. Anyway sounds like you're in a good place now, surrounded by lots of cool RC's to keep you busy. Nice talking Carmine. You Italian?

    • @CarminesRCTipsandTricks
      @CarminesRCTipsandTricks 2 роки тому +1

      I'm definitely Italian! 😃 🇮🇹
I've listened to John Holmes for well over 2 Decades. Met him on the RCCrawler Forum. HE knows his stuff!! For the Rigs, I'm using Holmes Hobbies 35T Crawlmaster Sport Motors.
Using Hobbywing WP1080 ESCs exclusively, tops everything off with incredible low speed control.
My Gear Reduction is BEHIND the Tranny. Two bolt right to the Rear of the Tamiya Gearbox, the other is mounted on the Chassis. Two short Driveshafts to the Axle and the Gearbox. That one obviously wouldn't work on a Globe Liner.... One reason for using the King Hauler Frame Rails. I'm only using Crawler Driveshafts with U-Joints. Besides looking more Scale, they're much stronger! 👍👍
The 1850L and Grand Hauler have plenty of room to hide a GRU mounted on the Gearbox.
I started out building Models, then Model Railroading before RC....
Prototypical Scale always was high on my priorities. So much so that I bought BAGS of Hex Head Screws! There isn't a visible Phillips Head Screw ANYWHERE on my Rigs. On the Chassis, the Button Head Screws do a decent job of looking like Rivets.
I buy them in bulk at Monster Screws on Evilbay, surprisingly cheap!!
I already started doing Brake Drums, Servos, Valves and Air Hoses before I found your Channel... You're taking me to the next level!! 😎👊 You're really doing some awesome stuff!

    • @CarminesRCTipsandTricks

.... And, the RC4WD R2 and R3 Gearboxes fit neatly under these Trucks. As long as you're OK with just one or two speeds.
With the right Gear Reduction, it's fine.
