Being left handed I have to remember to do the opposite of what you doing, you say go left, I go right, wish I’d known about left handed tutorials when I started, now it’s easier to learn from a right handed person 😂
That's great to hear, but did you know that I put the reversed videos for left handed crocheters on my other channel, Crafting Happiness Crochet Left Handed? You might like to watch that, although the video audio is not changed 😊
Super easy to follow ! Thank you so much for this tutorial! I needed a textured stitch for my kitchen towels and potholder and I think I found it ! Keep up the great work ! I look forward to watching more of your tutorials! ❤
This is such a great idea to include as a gift for someone who is sick. Just include some local honey, tea, or soup, etc. I learned to crochet a few, very basic stitches as a child and made blankets, but am only recently really learning to do so much more. I'm hoping this one will be something I can do. It's so cute!
I really ejoyed watching your tutorial. It was very detailed steps, and you went at a speed that people could follow nicely if they hadn't done this stitch before. Great job!
Loved your lessen. Taught me what I needed to know. This can be very confusing because I am left handed and have to reverse everything from right to left. Makes me crazy sometimes especially on this stitch!
If you want to achieve a hexagon shape, you need to work with front post double crochets. I don't have a pattern for it but something similar to give you an idea. Try this, it's the diamond waffle 😊👍 The youtube video link is inside,☺️craftinghappiness.com/crochet-diamond-waffle-stitch-tutorial-video/
Hi, thank you for your tutorial. I have a question. At the end of row 5 I end up with a last single chrochet that I have to do, but you end it with a long stitch. Am I counting wrong?
Hello Anna, I have tried this stitch numerous times and have failed. Not sure why, but the 5th row doesn't work for me. Also, I am left handed -- is there a left handed verision of this pattern that I can try?
I have a different UA-cam channel for left-handed crocheters where I post the same tutorial in reverse @CraftingHappinessLeftHanded, check it out, it might help ua-cam.com/video/4mp_lhDKMKY/v-deo.html
Maybe it's user.error, but on the end of row 5 you end with a long stitch and I'm ending with just a single crochet. I've gone back and redone the past two rows several times and still the same. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad it was helpful to you 🙂
This is a very good alternative for the Tunisian honeycomb stitch. Thankyou so much for sharing this pattern. 😊❤️
You're welcome 😊
Thank you for explaining in detail this beautiful stitch.
You're welcome 😊
It was one of the best tutorials, I've ever seen
Thank you so much 💕
Very Nice and easy. You did an OUTSTANDING JOB explaining this honeycomb pattern; thank you!
Thank you so much 💕
This is the first time, I see this nice pattern. You described it very clearly. Thanks. May God bless you.
Thank you for your feedback 😊
I knit this pattern and love the result, now I am ready to try doing it the crochet way. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Prefect tutorial and clear instructions thank you

Beautiful wow
It's a wonderful pattern, I agree
Love this stitch 😍
It's a pretty one!😊
Love this one. It’s beautiful!!
This one is one of my favorites
this feels like less honeycomb and more smock stitch. Or rather this is just the simple crochet version of the Tunisian Smock stitch
Can this stitch be done working in a continual round ? And if so, do you have a tutorial for it. Thanks for sharing.
All stitches can be done in the round, but the pattern needs to be modified. I don't have a video for it I'm afraid
Does the fabric have a stretch? Im looking for a similar concept to waffle stitch but hexagon shaped.

Per caso viene uguale anche se lo fai a punto alto?

Can I crochet a chirt with this
Yes
Is this stitch thick enough for hot pads or trivets?
Yes, definitely!
O ponto é lindo, mas vc poderia colocar no vídeo a quantidade de pontos!
Este ponto é múltiplo de que!!???
Hi, on minute 1.05 it tells you the repeats and how long my chain is. You need multiples of 2 chains, my chain in the video is 24. I hope this helps
How do you thing this point for baby blanket?
What do you mean? I don't understand your questions..
@@CraftingHappinessCrochet I search a point for baby blanket
@@nancyrobert3266 a blanket with this stitch might be too rigid and thick. You will need to use extra soft yarn and a bigger hook than recommended
@@CraftingHappinessCrochet Thanck you very much
@@nancyrobert3266 you're welcome
Mine did not look like that 🫣
