What an INSULT by saying Stevie sucks!!!! -:( That pissed me off! She is my biggest inspiration apart from Adele! She has the most unique, hauntingly beautiful voices of all time! Not to mention, she IS the queen of rock and roll! Hell yeah! Bloody fantastic ballad! :)

Wow this is one of her best and most powerful performances of all time in my opinion.I know this is one of those songs that is really a song that mostly only hardcore fans would probably like. But, if you listen to this with headphones and just join her for these few minutes while she's singing her heart out - how can you NOT connect with it? She really is singing with such emotion and it shows here..At 62, WOW what a voice!

This live version is exceptionally heartbreaking, raw and full of humility. I truly don't even like the album version (even though my other favorite artist Sarah McLaughlin, played piano, guitar and sung background vocals on it). Had I heard the album version first, I wouldn't understand the song. The pauses, the tone, the slow tempo of this live version showcase it's true meaning. A perfect ballad about impossible love and letting go sung by a gentle, sweet soul.
Agreed. I noticed that the album version lacks the “angel’s arms” lyric, too. This version is absolutely perfect. 👍🏻
