My go-to instructional video when I haven't shot with the TT600 in a while and have forgotten how to use use it. Clear and concise explanations. Thanks!
I have owned 4 Godox tt600s for almost three years and I didn't know that they were capable of controlling other flashes or of becoming optical slaves. Great video!
Alex, hello, from Scotland UK. Your video may be 4 years old but it just saved me a lot of time and money as I just couldn't get it to work with my trigger. Afer watching your video a few times, I've got it - thank you so much for making it easy for me. Best wishes, Alan
My new X2Tc controller arrived and I tested it with a borrowed TT685N (Nikon version) as the slave. No problems so, I’ll now go ahead and buy my first TT600. The TT600 looks like the best value flash of the whole Godox range. Basic & simple with really big, easily seen LCD panel.
I didn't know that this Manual flash has so much features. Thanks 🙏. I mean optical slave ? Who would have thought. Now I am using my inbuilt flash covered with tape and control the subtle light it emits to control the TT600 in a side
Thank you so much for this! I'm genuinely considering buying a second one if it functions as a transmitter, and the transmitters aren't THAT much cheaper... I could then use a more complex studio set up if I want
Alex me salvaste el shooting de hoy jajaj después de años por alguna razón se des configuro uno de mis tt600 y olvide como reconfigurar pero aquí estas tu GRACIAS!!!
Your very cafefully crafted tutorial left me NO CHOICE but to like and sub. So many features/controls to boggle the mind - we're a L-O-N-G way from flashbulbs!!!!!!
Hello Alex, thank you for the video. I have owned these flashes for over a year now, no problem with them. But once the batteries in one of them died the other day, the flash reset itself and i could not figure out how to re configure it back to what i was using (optical slave mode fired by wireless trigger on a camera). Your video helped me, thanks, have a nice day.
Thank you for the good video. Is there an option to deaktivate the AF Light in the front of the flash? I have the flash as an wireless slave and have the OS deaktivate. But... The light is blinking and I hate it.
This is EXCELLENT! He even showed the correct polarity of the batteries, which is NOT shown in the manual! I do wish he didn't have that totally unnecessary and annoying music playing when he is speaking - it certainly didn't enhance the tutorial.
Alex, a great simple video covering the controls. Well demonstrated I feel alot happier with all those buttons without having been overwhelmed with uses etc which I can learn in due course
Thank you, you made the use of this flash really easy......but you didn't mention the HSS.......by just pressing and holding the 3rd button until that feature appears. Nevertheless, I love how you explained. I needed to get out of the S1 slave mode, but I just followed the instructions and turned the wheel to off and it went away. Thank You....
thank you for the insight. somewhere within your video you mentioned that this flash might have a red eye correction feature. is there a way of enabling and disabling the feature?
Great video! Nice explanation. I have a one clarification. There is a universal version (TT600) and a Sony version(TT600s) Wonder why you need the S version since this flash is all manual? Can I go and get TT600 for my Sony system? Thanks!
Gracias por el video Alex! I live in New York City and am thinking of buying the Gordox TT600. I like the large display. My other flashes (Canon and Yongnuo) have tiny text and are hard to read. The TT600 is easy to read and easy to manage. Question. I noticed online that the TT600 has a side port or door that looks like it can be powered externally? Can the TT600 be powered externally? All the best to you Alex.
Finally someone who gets straight to it! Question though. I use this with the Canon RP but for some reason I can’t take my shutter speed passed 1/180. How do I fix that? I want to shoot hss
I have owned 2 Godox tt600s for almost three years and I didn't know that they were capable of controlling other flashes or of becoming optical slaves. Great video!
Hi Alex, Thank you for this super simple to follow tutorial. When I turn on radio slave I get a flashing red lighton the front of the flash (just below the optical reader). Is there any way to turn this off (it didn't seem to some on during your tytorial)? Thank you
If you'd like to see how to fire the TT600 remotely, using an XPro transmitter, take a look at this video: ua-cam.com/video/HJjLxfR13-E/v-deo.html

Thx for the video 😊
Nice and clear. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you helped a lot ❤
Great tutorial! Thank you so much.
You're very welcome!
Great video! Nice explanation.
I have a one clarification. There is a universal version (TT600) and a Sony version(TT600s) Wonder why you need the S version since this flash is all manual? Can I go and get TT600 for my Sony system? Thanks!
I read up about the difference and the reason is tt600s is just for Sony cameras as it has a different connection for flashes.
Thus… Tt600s…. s = Sony version.
Thanks for the help
thank you so so much!! you really helped me figure it out.
extremely helpful, thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
I love you. This was super helpful!!!! Thank you so much!!!
You're so welcome!
Saludos desde PERÚ !!! CONGRATULATIONS.

Can you please confirm the Max. power available in Watts? What will be it's power compared to AD200? Thank a lot for this video!
Can you explain the purpose of Channel, Group and Zoom?
@Alessandro LinuxBSD thanks alot
thankyou super simple
Finally someone who gets straight to it! Question though. I use this with the Canon RP but for some reason I can’t take my shutter speed passed 1/180. How do I fix that? I want to shoot hss
You have to switch on the hss mode on the flash. And, you have to use a remote trigger with hss support, for example Godox x1t /x2t/ x pro.
Very helpful video but you forgot to discuss about the HSS function. I want to know how the HSS of TT600 works. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment! I'm planning a video solely dedicated to HSS in Godox flashes. Keep an eye on the channel :-)
Thank you
I get this too. Really annoying and I don't think it can be turned off. I have seen the only solution to put black tape over it!
