Only started playing dnd two years ago. Started with 5e and Swords & Wizardry (0e retroclone), then worked back to AD&D 1e, then 2e. Then B/X. I like it all. I started collecting books from all editions a while back because i love books. Started reading my 3.5 books today and eager to jump in. Happy to find this channel to help me.
You’re like the only 3.5 youtube I’ve seen, despite it being a fundamentally better system in just about every regard than 5e. If you know of any other 3.5 UA-cam channels, please let me know.
I agree 100%. There are a few that I'm aware of, but none with anywhere nearly as many videos as I have. Most people seem to make a few or maybe a couple dozen videos and then quit from what I've seen. I'm really the only one that's still going strong.
I've been watching a lot of your videos recently, you're very easy to understand and very clear. Plenty of excellent role play advice here, for any system even, great work! As the group's forever DM over the years, I've hosted 4e, 5e, Cyberpunk 2020 (not red), and now after wanting more meat on our system (from 5e) , we're starting 3.5. Very helpful stuff in each of your videos, the way you cover class viability has been great for balancing my players (whom are all different uncommon races, classes, and Stat totals). Whilst my knowledge from other systems is helpful, guidance from an experienced DM is most useful. Thank you for your hard work! Love and Peace folks.
There are definitely times I miss playing 3.5, because the tactics and methods players uses to tackle problems were more diverse and more interesting. Made the game feel like a good episode of Star Trek TNG or Stargate when writers were on top of their game, creatively and scientifically
I'm going to be getting a 3.5 public game going for next year. Do you have any videos about the campaign creation (sandbox preferably) with a 3.5 focus?
cool video I am a newer dnd player and I switched to 3.5 because I could make undead player characters and other specialized classes the dnd 5e didnt really support
Full tutorials on 3.5 in depth of every aspect are rare to find completed. Gonna check out the whole series. Good job
Thanks. I appreciate that.

That's awesome man. I hope my videos help you learn the game. 3.5 is by far my favorite system.

I mean the thing with 3.5 is that Pathfinder 1.0 exists. So from a purely systems standpoint DND 3.0 < 3.5 < PF 1.0
@@cyberninjazero5659 eh some might prefer the 3.5 over pf
@@akimbofurry2179 I prefer 3.5 over pathfinder, and I'm a furry too!
@@mejd16 any games gong? OwO
Now starting a Dnd 3.5 campaign with friends and for the life of me I couldn’t find in depth videos about this version of the game. Thank you so much!
I bought some video games based on 3.5 D&D and needed a comprehensive guide, you are a lifesaver. Thanks a lot Mitch
Of course. I'm glad I was able to help.

I really appreciate the comment, and I'm really glad I was able to help you. I hope you and your players have a great time playing 3.5.
@@MitchBurns so far, we're having a blast 🤘
Thanks again, take it easy 🍻
Thank you for making this! About to start my first 3.5 campaign
Of course. Best of luck with your campaign.
@@MitchBurns thanks! I'm a player in it. My friend is DM. I will be DM for my son in 5e essentials kit.
really appreciate all of the work that went into this!
I really appreciate that. Thank you. It means a lot.

That's true. A good group of players will find all sorts of crazy solutions to any puzzle that you would never think of.
Thanks man
Of course. I appreciate it.
Simple, yet, good. Nice job mate

Hi, your channel is awesome!
I love D&D 3.5

Very useful video, I hope to see more.
Thank you. I'm glad you find it helpful. I will certainly be making more.
hi! great video, very informative. Any chance you could throw in a link to download that pdf? would make it way easier to teach my friends
Which pdf are you talking about exactly?
@@MitchBurns I assumed you were recording one, was I wrong?
How do you reward XP in 3.5?
It's all explained on page 38 of the DMG. I can make a video about it in the future though.
maybe my players will like this more
That would be awesome. I would love to see more people playing 3.5.
3.5 > 5
I agree. 3.5 is the best.
