I'm a playstation guy but the 360 was amazing. My buddy gave me his like 12 years ago. I put an mclassic on it about a year ago and wow it's great but the kinect does still suck😂

My childhood is the 360, with Minecraft, skate 2 and 3, and whatever the hell “sonic team racing” was… (That’s the only one I don’t play anymore)
Some recently gave me all their old 360 games and I’ve been playing on my 360 a lot.
It’s crazy how something that was once so new and legendary is now old and forgotten.

The CEX near me closed now a few years ago. I didn’t realize how much I needed that store until it was gone. That had so many games and prices were good.
Xbox 360 was my all time favoruite console as it was my childhood cosnonlr. thats the reason why I swicthed back from my ps4 slim to my xbox series x best choice I ever made

Yeah the Fat ones can get pretty loud, especially when the thermal paste is dried-up on the CPU and GPU. The Slims overall (S and E) are pretty quite, especially if you install the games on a flash drive or the internal HDD (the DVD drive is loud when reading discs).
Ghost Recon was a gem
I'd love to play online with Forza Motorsport 3 and 4. Believe it or not you can still host games. Not sure if they're joinable though. It'd be nice to get 7 other people involved, for a game of cat and mouse (a game option that has been taken away now)

I just bought the new Hyperkin Xbox360 controller. I really got it to Decorate my game room with, along with the Hyperkin Duke Controller, but I played skate 3 with it & it felt so good
I got the white one they still good consoles to play GTA 5 I play that 😊

I got an 360 in 2012 Possibly in August And It Was Awesome Stopped Playing It Because I Screwed Up My Controller And That One got stick drift and the other one it was broken because it was thrown down the stairs.

Bro, you’re like 22 at best you were a toddler when the 360 was peeking nothing else could explain why you linked the Kinect to the original consul or even considered doing so. The Kinect came out years later for a mid gen refresh and for those of us that actually had titles for it, it was awesome. The only people who hated it were your younger brothers or sisters that just didn’t know how to use it.

I too bought a Xbox 360 glossy slim edition, it's good for keeping physical game collections and play games straight from the disc, also for nostalgia reasons and BC, it was the console I had most fun with all time and grew up with a NES. Too bad the Series X is a console with no next gen motivation its a dying console.
I parents purchased me a 2005 XBOX 360 in 2024.

Is online still working?
For some games yes, for example recently Microsoft and Activision fixed a matchmaking bug for the "old" Call of Duty games released on 360 (BO2, MW3, etc...) and now online matchmaking works again.
As for the marketplace it also works for the most part. I had some issues a few months ago but Microsoft seems to have fixed those since.

Hack it, you can use it forever. It seems like you have a Falcon/ Jasper so it is a reliable console that should probably not get the RRoD.
