the guy needs to diet ,, or he will have a short life. or living the rest of your life with chronic heart disease,,And many other problems,, it's not worth it.. Seriously people try to eat healthy and be healthy , you only come around once..
Too much hate towards the big guy. I give him respect for standing there like that. Not many people would do it. Disappointed at you Tested subscribers....
Come on I have to correct (this cool report about the great rancor :) So in "Jedi" it wasn't a stop mo puppet! Just a hand puppet constantly on rods, its hand and fingers and its jaw was articulated by hand movements of one or two men and the whole thing was shot real-time. Then slowed down to half the speed to actually look bigger and heavier. (no stop mo was involved)
molekulaTV Actually, 1/3rd of the speed. It was shot at 72 fps, and then played back at 24. Done by Phil Tippett, IINM. He wanted to do it as stop-motion and Lucas wanted a guy (or a couple of guys) in a suit, so they settled on a cross between the two (a guy with a hand in a puppet, plus a couple of guys with control rods).
Find a good glassworker and they can make you some eyes out of glass and put dichro for the color, would make the eyes incredible, could also back light them with led's! Trust me for a project like that dichro glass would be really well worth it since the eyes are such a focal point.
Alt Maybe the one with the mouth open is "the new one". They're not actually making a new one each day, they're just cycling through various versions of the body parts.
People seem focused on the cosplaying guy next to the rancor. All I could focus at was the horrible color correction, a world of only yellow and green.
Amazing stuff..but it's obviously a bit undersized. It's funny because they claim they used a lot of references, but they obviously didn't reference the size of the rancor in Return of the Jedi.
why is everybody freaking out about the fat shirtless guy? he can do whatever the hell he wants. it's like you are all afraid of an over weight person being comfortable in their own body. "oh no! someone who is over weight not caring what people think! run away!"
But also don't say overweight ether but that's dissterbing and shouldn't be in a video ok get that straight. I get your point but calm the fuck down others can do what ever the fuck they want to so if they want to judge him then let theme go at it
+Zaphod “Memelord” Beeblebrox He's repulsive. His "comfort with his body" should not give him a free pass to repulse the vast majority of the people in his vicinity.
The actual rancor from the movie had to be any were from 40-60 feet tall not this small one they are showing just judging by the size of the door it had to duck under and the fact that Luke barely had to duck to run between its legs when it stood upright.
The dude from Tested thinks the original Rancor in the film was a Stop motion. It was just a regular puppet shot at high speed. It was not Stop Motion and it doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
Props to the man cosplaying as Malakili like it takes balls to do that.

molekulaTV Thank you! I was about to say the same thing! It was an 18inch puppet.

So... what was the new thing on "tomorrow"?
Adam: would you ever want to mechanize her .
Guy: EXCUSE ME!!!
Edit: 3:58
4:00
EXCUSE ME!
Was there two different Roxys I notice one has her mouth open and at the end the mouth is closed?
That is the rancor from jabba the hutt!!! : D
DEAR SANTA!!!!
The rancor was *not* stop motion
Yeah - it was a rod puppet. Norm should be ashamed of himself.
What's with moobs man? ( I hate spellcheck sometimes)
magicbuskey I believe it's one of the Rancor's keepers. Check the movie, a guy not entirely dissimilar appears on there. (Not the Gamorrean)
I tried to meet it but it was stuck in my screen.
it close its mouth at the end...it's alive!!!

no way that's full size. Luke ran between its legs and wasnt near touching it.
Hehe that's what I call a collectible! ;)
If only Rancors were real
Does that even count as "work"?
My only Star Wars figure is an old rancor.
"Her"
Hi
Spoiler at the end...the mouth must move?
***** Just two different heads.
I like how he talks about "her" like it's a living animal. and also what's with the shirtless guy??
onya Norm
I lost it at 03:14 xD
rancor...so that's the bearded dude's name ;3
"I needed Jabba"
We all know whats on my mind.
pretty sure it's still way too small. But cool either way.
Should be slimy and drooling
***** Circle Of Alchemists
It seems weird that they made the new one with the mouth closed. It looks a lot less expressive and fun to look at it IMHO.

Wait, what was the big surprise... that her mouth was closed instead of open?
I have autism
fijicat Join the crowd, it's a big one.
Congrats.
ronjon83 get stage 4 brain cancer nerd
+fijicat That's pretty mean, you should get stage 7 herpes...
Holy shit
Too small for "life-size".
It would cost a ass load of money to make a 1000lb statue remote control
Sorry to say but a Roncor is much bigger than that.
I think we all know who the REAL star of the show is here 🤓
1:18
what's with moons man?
This is not life size! The real one was a puppet!
why is everybody freaking out about the fat shirtless guy? he can do whatever the hell he wants. it's like you are all afraid of an over weight person being comfortable in their own body. "oh no! someone who is over weight not caring what people think! run away!"
+Skel “Skeletor” eton Well, to be fair. We all have to pay high premiums for health insurance because of people like that.
But also don't say overweight ether but that's dissterbing and shouldn't be in a video ok get that straight. I get your point but calm the fuck down others can do what ever the fuck they want to so if they want to judge him then let theme go at it

Life sized?! That's not close more like 1/2 of the real thing. Plus the face and neck aren't wide enough.
Its not big enough!!!!! (imo)
It’s a fat suit, people…
Ok we get it you all noticed the overweight guy. Now comment about the actual video.
not full size .. More like a young adolescent
That's nowhere near life-size.
The actual rancor from the movie had to be any were from 40-60 feet tall not this small one they are showing just judging by the size of the door it had to duck under and the fact that Luke barely had to duck to run between its legs when it stood upright.
Moooooobs
Report because of nudity
why does he have to be shirtless ?
gavin ;] He’s supposed to be the Rancor Keeper
The dude from Tested thinks the original Rancor in the film was a Stop motion. It was just a regular puppet shot at high speed. It was not Stop Motion and it doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
Those should be pixelated or something, there may be kids watching.
They weren't pixelated in the movie.
The moobs on that guy, holy...
That guy ate Malakili and put his clothes on lol
moobs kind of steals the spotlight from roxie.can't keep my eyes off of 'em.
