Taking a beginner adult ballet class has made me realise it finally doesnt matter what my thighs look like cause I'll get nowhere metaphorically or literally in ballet without leg strength. Another thing is I wanna do ballet to express repressed emotions stored in my body, I wanna do it for the little fragile girl I used to be, so it doesnt matter if I dont like what I see in the mirror. I've been thinking about how little kids dance out of joy, not to look pretty, I will try my best to do that too. It doesnt matter what I look like, I just wanna express myself. okay the ronds de jambes en l'air and your body literally NOT moving - that's control!!!! I've been dancing since I was little and have now been taking open classes (now in my 20's), and it's the most amazing feeling. So happy you're dancing more again

watching this video just after i was knitting whilst watching gilmore girls lol love it! 🤍 i also feel much better during the back end of the year when everything gets cosier, my depression feels easier to handle probably because the comfort of the season allows for lots of snuggling in bed whilst watching festive movies as nature end its cycle; it’s hibernating time! ☕️🍂
I really wish that there were ballet classes near where I grew up because this is literally one of my dreams. I would have loved to do ballet like on the side because I want to work at a museum. ☺️
