You know you are a dancer when you point your feet during workout
YES and i feel like i’m doing it wrong when i don’t lol
@@ht8038 I'm not even a dancer and I always point my feet when I exercise and if feels so unnatural when I don't
-me doing sit ups during an aerobics class last year-
Instructor: feet flexed
My body: No!!!!! - feet pointed- lol 😂
And at any given moment! Did you notice the spontaneous point when she was just situating her computer at 2:50 ?
I danced through childhood, never professional, and 13 years later I still point my feet thoughtlessly, so I easily spotted this ballerina doing it haha.
Or a swimmer lol
her mental discipline is attractive
I find anyone passionate about what they do highly attractive
you should go to a ballet studio, you would like it haha
@@claireinaflower I already go- I love doing it! :)
I aspire to be like that😔
Everything about this young lady is attractive.....her energy, personality and enthusiasm is infectious.
this is more than what i do in a week😳
Tbh this is more than I'll do in a lifetime..;(
@@fairydustcookies lol
Ai Sian yes i completely agree! i’m a ballet student and have been dancing since i was 2 so i am fully aware of how demanding it is physically and mentally. pros basically have to do this to make sure they can come back once this is all over and be fully able to do the extreme.
She should drop a stretching routine!
Same! But don’t beat yourself up, unlike us this is her job so it’s understandable
so this is what healthy looks like
wait till u see her feet lol
Nameless this is what feet look like when they take you places. You should learn something.
Priscila Guimarães I’d rather have a healthy body & still be able to dance when I’m 35, thanks.
Nameless who said she won’t? You are no better than someone who fat shames others. She IS happy and healthy, thank you very much.
Yes sweetheart
That’s the first professional ballerina I see that really seems healthy, fit and balanced at the same time. And she’s radiating so much positivity and happiness ! I am amazed :) would watch 10 more videos of her.
You're right! I think there's at least two more videos with her
I don't understand these ballerinas that are super bony and putting their bodies through this everyday. It must hurt a lot, and I suspect they develop severe arthritis sooner.
I met her today, and she’s the kindest person ever!❤️
@Joni Crouch I'm not just talking about skinny. I'm talking about bony, which a lot of ballerinas are. Some look emaciated. It's gotta be more painful when you have almost zero body fat or muscle mass and are basically a walking skeleton.
thank for saying this!!! i love the videos she is in! they make me feel more positivity in a community that most people find very toxic. she has given people positivity and happiness towards something they might look at differently. she has changed the way i look at ballet and has ultimately made me a better dancer!
Finally. UA-cam hasn’t recommended me a video that is 5 years old 🙏🙏
Your experience is very helpful even for men
I am 54 years old but trying to stay flexible very important your video is profitable.i mean I am 64 not 54 I wish ha ha .but I yoga every day.
She does 3 completely different workouts before I even wake up lol
In her Pyjamas,,......
me: *eats healthy, does exercises, stays off phone, dances everyday*
boredom: i’m about to destroy this whole mans career
**edit: sorry for the typo!
Boredom
true, i feel like i get so bored during a routine, after a while i need to switch things up
"my girlfriend" pores cleaned, stomach detoxed, mental health restored
my face LIT UP when she said that
I was soooo happy too! hahahha
No I think she has a boyfriend lol
I checked her ig she definitely has a bf
@@cathmunk and now I'm sad... jk
"its a gift for me to be able to do that" her epilogue its just fantastic, like, it gives a whole POV to the tasks that we have to do everyday.
I love that she’s not afraid to stay active throughout her day, and that she even encourages it. It’s really great that’s she’s incorporated breathing exercises and time just for stretching into her routine, too. As an amateur dancer, I’m taking notes 📝
She looks so healthy and full of life! 😍
Yes, she doesss!
Radiant!!!! 😍
I agree!!! She is so healthy and weird thing, I got a disease add ing the middle of this and now think I'm like a lazy potato
Thank you for showing us that even a professional ballerina has tight outer hip
I thought the same thing!!😁
ikr! as a runner I have tight everything ... so knowing that a ballerina has smth tight makes me feel a bit better lol
same! as a dancing hobbyist and starting contortion, it gave me hope seeing she got tightness and can still can do so many amazing flexi things
This is by far my favorite "Pro Ballerina" video. I absolutely love how she talked and explained everything. It seems like she has a very healthy mindset which is very nice to see in the dance. It was also encouraging to me as a dancer to hear her talk about the things she struggles with even though she's a professional. :D
I wish she had her own youtube channel I need more content like this
Scout has changed my perspective on what a ballet dancer can be like. Thanks for breaking those stereotypes for any young dancers that are watching. You're a wonderful role model.
Her personality is so bright. I can’t explain it but I was smiling back every time she smiled in the video lol.
video: "2pm "
picture: sunset
don't tell me i'm the only one confused
Definitely not the only one lol I was gonna say - her 2pm is like our 7pm here
Sunset earlier and its dark by 4 or 5 in her area, its a trade off for living in a sunny place. Sunny everyday, just less hours of the day. Like here in Canada west coast, in the summer sun sets at 9pm dark by ten. But in the winter sun sets around 4pm.
I love that I got a McDonald’s ad in the middle of this
The algorithm does not lie 🍔 🍟 😂
Not today, satan!
A surfer ballerina! Neat. I’m gonna go struggle thru a 30 minute workout video now.
:D Did you survive it? :D
Her name is Scout. That’s such a sweet name. Makes me think of “To Kill A Mockingbird”
I love that book!!
Scout’s attitude is awesome! Her mental discipline and outlook on life is admirable. I’m inspired to commit to a bit more self care for my body after seeing this!
This was actually a breath of fresh air: I really appreciated her frankness about how she's still growing and evolving and learning, and that there are still major challenges to overcome. Great vid!
I totally agree!
She needs her own channel. We would all watch daily 😁
I used to be a pre-professional ballerina, I miss doing workouts regularly like this! Def spotted a lot of things i used to do as well. It was surprisingly encouraging to see that you have tight outer hips too! I can at least criss cross, but it's nice to be reminded that everyone isn't perfect and has their own limitations. 💕
Why’d you stop?
I would love an “Eat in a day” vlog with her. I wonder what her nutrition looks like.
I'm shockeddd, she is working out the whole day longg
@Paise Hough Wow, I really admire you!!
@Paise Hough dang I would pass out. Much respect to ballerinas like u! I admire the discipline!
You want to minimize losing muscle, stamina, or especially callouses, during the pandemic. Coming back at a professional level is going to huuuurt.
Shes just such a cute and positive human being 💜
My dance teacher always said everything in ballet builds off of a plie or tendu and that’s why they are done first in class
Cassey is the best for pilates! Her eagle crunches are killer 🧘♀️
Plus she makes everything so fun. She is your personal motivator.
Okay, she seems so healthy, I admire that
Scout is such an inspiration.
shes such a joyful and charismatic person, shes everything i aspire to be 💕 sending you so much love Scout !
You have the most gorgeous body! I always thought that ballerinas are just skin and bones but you look amazing. It's also so true about exercise - when you're a kid you run around all the time and it doesn't even cross your mind that this keeps you in shape. As an adult you almost forget that moving and exercising can be so much fun - you only look at it as a chore to do stay fit.
I wanted to see what she eats in a daily. 😭
I think they did a video showing how she spends the day preparing for a show that’s at 6pm, and it showed her meals. But, it wasn’t that much food since she didn’t want to dance on a full stomach
we actually eat a crap ton lol. we need so much energy and fuel, but also need to keep ourselves very light. Honestly I don't really restrict any food groups because I don't think its the healthiest, I just eat what I feel my body wants. If my body wants a burger, Im gonna eat a burger, if I'm craving a bowl of leaves, I eat just that. lmao
Wallfløwer _ exactly! i forced myself to eat on days of shows but i can’t have a full stomach. but after we eat a bunch of healthy junk
iwatch ytwhenimbored pretty much sums up my life 😌
Watch Munchies with Theresa Farrell for what a ballet dancer eats n a day
Here is the comment ya'll been scearching for:
This video called me lazy in 128 languages
That’s weird, it called me lazy in 129 languages.
Mira L relatable...
YOU ARE what you're disciplined in. Phenominal!🌹
Scout has this wonderful, inspiring energy. I like seeing her just go about her day full of positive energy
Inspiring to see a dancer with a healthy mindset...it truly is so rare in the industry. The culture encourages constantly comparing yourself to others, dancing and conditioning your body just to get approval and attention, rejecting your body and pushing yourself way past your limit, mercilessly judging your weaknesses, eating disorders, compromising your well being and integrity to get ahead...and so on. Then if you're in certain corrupt companies like I was...SRA. 🔺🧛🏼♂️
SRA!? meaning satanic ritual abuse?😮
@@KellyO Correct. It truly does hide in all corners of our society.
@@RachelCaruso what company were you in out of curiosity? What kind of sra if you're ok saying?
@@bellabenton5594 she's a kooky conspiracy theorist. pay it no mind.
Yes, she should have her own YT channel
But is no one going to mention the sunset at "2 p.m." while surfing, and then the sun is high up in the sky for the "sunset bike ride"
Was thinking the same lol
The surfing clip was propably an old clip just to add there to show what its like
Sunset is dinnertime for sharks. Time to come in.
So she basically works out for 25/8
😂
So this is what living life to the fullest looks like👁️👄👁️
Yay Scout is back! 😀
You go! You are such an inspiration. Thank you for doing this video and sharing all your ballet exercises with the world. You have a bright light inside of you. Keep showing it off because it’s beautiful.
Her videos are my favourite! I love her discipline and her energy. Please do more videos with Scout!
this was full of helpful excersises references, like Kundalani breathing with Libberated and blogilates for core workouts. Also love how Scout shared her love for surfing.
I honestly love this video so much. besides class, she shows the simple things that can make such a difference. it helps you with dancing and your mental state!
She exercise more in one day than I do in 6 months.
I wish I was like that lol.
She didn't get there by wishing! You want it, go get it, girl!
We have the same name!
you can just start today!!
@@TheMrsBeagle some of us are depressed ma'am 😭😭
I loved this videos with her. Shes so fun and bubbly but explains really well. I started watching this right as I got up and seeing her do so much right when she got up I felt pressured so I've been working out with this video. That is an accomplishment. So kudos to scout
She is a wonderful speaker. Listening to her explain her day is informative and energizing!
Someone tag Cassey! She’ll be so excited
No clue why YT recommended this but my word this girl is flawless.
True fact folks...Scout is a great person inside and out. Love this....love to you, your sis and your folks!
I really love her. I have watched all her videos here like million times!
Thanks so much for sharing your day. It's a great reminder for all of us "civilians" not to take our movement for granted.
I really really liked this girl! She seems to enjoy life to the fullest
YAY Scout !!! I love these videos
they have inspired me to start dancing again!!
What a fun and active day! Thanks for walking through the ballet progression as well.
This us absolutely the best video ever!!! Thank you!!
There is nothing not to love about Scout’s lifestyle. It makes perfect sense.
You are so amazing and have such a positive vibe that even or during your routine you seem to have an amazingly calm and peaceful behavior. You're awesome!
She such a beautiful ballet dancer. Plus a really great personality 🥰. Love her discipline and focus. Inspiring ♥️
Thank you for sharing such a fun, calm and rewarding morning routine!!! Wish you all the best in your career!!
This is sooo inspiring - especially the stretches and the yoga. I don't think these exercises should just be for ballerinas. In particular, stretching the hip flexors and opening up the chest are things that EVERYONE should do.
she’s clearly very strong and healthy...but that plank form...
😅
I know, right? I just thought: "Am I doing the plank wrong?"
First thing I thought of upon seeing the thumbnail
I know I'm terrible at excersing but even then I noticed how odd her plank position looks like
Incredible discipline, and so much joy. Wonderful.
I feel the need to stretch after watching this
Loved to see this! I’m not at all a professional ballet dancer but am a ballet dancer/student and living in SoCal as well, took up surfing recently and feel it’s an excellent compliment to ballet. I’ve noticed such improvement in my dancing since I started. It gave me comfort to hear she had tight hips and struggles with it even as a professional. The biking, Pilates, and yoga are also in my routine; I felt like we were kindred spirits 😂
You have such a passion for ballet , it makes it contagious . I’m hooked . Thank you 🙏
Love your attitude and your upbeat attitude towards your lifestyle ! Enjoyed your vlog a lot !! 😊
This was a great video I loved it !
I’m a simple gal, I see a video with Scout in it and I immediately watch!!! 🤩🥰
I love her attitude it's so positive!! 💕
Nice to see someone so positive and happy just moving through time.
Very solid tips, thank you so much for sharing!
Now that’s a focused and true minded woman with a great a great spirit. Thanks for sharing🙏
Ugh, I envy your body strength so much, but admire you for all the time you put into it.... I know your body is your essential asset in your job, so it's not like I should be mad at myself for "only" managing 30 minutes in the morning + 1-1.5 hours in a day for an exercise (and sometimes skip the 30 morning one due to hunger) with my office job, but it must feel so amazing to be this powerful.... and your partners must worship you for that stamina (which is also one of my goals and the reason for exercise :D). Anyways, kudos for this taxing routine and keep it up!
I love her!!! Please invite her to do more!
such a great video in terms of connecting breath, pilates, and surf to ballet
You have a beautiful arch Scout. Thank you for taking me back to my dancing days. 💖
This is so inspiring. Thank you for the heads up on blogilates! Can't wait to add it to my yoga practice!
Omg Kundalini and Cassey's pilates, yassssss! Those are part of my routine too. Proper breathing, posture, core 💯 I can also relate with the hip thingy, need that mobility!!
Love these videos
Really great video! So many interesting insights about how different modalities translate in the dancing.
I love her positivity so much ❣
wow i can feel these good vibes, i love listening to you, you are my inspiration 🌸
yay scout we love scout!!!
she motivates me to start doing ballet again. Such a great video!
she’s my favorite person featured on this channel !
❤️ motivated me to stretch this quarantine
marvelous. i really enjoyed this. it's so cool to meet people who are switched-on. cheers...
Just loved to learn what your day’s like
Scout is very inspirational, and yet down to earth!
She truly is! I love watching her videos! xx
I love her!!! I’m so inspired by the fact that she incorporates kundalini yoga and surf. I can only imagine how alive that must make you feel. With all the oxygen reaching the muscles, the much needed stretching. I myself already got started doing that, too. A run sounds nice, too 😆😆
So inspiring! Thanks you
she is a TRUE role model 🥺
She lives in the best part of So Cal... same place as where I grew up... it’s so beautiful there!
Also, I want to be more active and fit like her! Her love of dance and health radiates through her.
Wow her smile is infectious. Talented individual!
This was perf exactly what I was looking for to prepare for ballet classes
You look so happy and beautiful doing what you love...! Congratulations!
So cool and such a holistic approach to wellbeing
