In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, Padma Shri Awardee, Editor-in-chief, IJCP Publications, will talk whether hepatitis C is curable or not. He confirms that hepatitis C is curable unlike HIV and hepatitis B. it requires a long term management. He will discuss the medication given in Hepatitis C positive patients in details. The treatment is given for three months and the patient should avoid alcohol. He should be also treated for fatty liver and insulin resistance.

It is 100% curable if diagnosis could be done at early stage bcoz this is non symptomatic disease that's the reason most of the people are unaware of it even having hep c.They get to know about this when they have serious liver damage and then chances become less.
